"You come all the way here to seduce Lord Dimitrix and make him yours,right?".Eleanor dismissed Lilac comment with a scoff.
"If that was my intention,do you think I will be standing in this quarter talking to senseless servants like you?".
"YOU!!".Vik snorts. "You're just like us, you maid".
"That's my point,so I didn't come here intentionally,so if you have a problem that I was made a personal maid with no wages then go make a complain to your Lord".Eleanor snorted at them and brush past them.
"How dare she!!!".Maria muttered through gritted teeth.
Eleanor found a corner and sat there without no blanket and pillow and she refuses to ask.
"Hey!are you going to sleep there without changing".A servant sitting next to her says.
"I wasn't given any".A red simple dress went flying at her."Here".The girl said.
"Thanks".Eleanor smiled and quickly changed into it."Hey,hey-".
"What?".The girl snapped.
"My name is Eleanor, what's yours?".
"Delia and don't ask me any-".
"But I have no pillow nor blanket nor cover".
"Here".Delia handed a blanket to her."Don't talk to me,all you servants are lame".And Delia recline on her mattress.
Eleanor smiled before spreading hers and she lie down."Thank you Delia".She whispered and shot her eyes,remembering Vivian as tears fell from her left eyes."Vivian,I won't let your sacrifice go in vain,I will
stay,strengthen myself and get answers".She nod her head in agreement.
NEXT MORNING.
"Hey!Hey!HEY!!!!".Someone yelled,waking Eleanor up.
"Am up,am up".She said,sitting up hastily.
"Am Nora,the head servant. Now get ready, you need to rise before your master does".Nora scolds."Meet me in front of Lord Dimitrix's room".And she strode out of the room.
"His not my master".Eleanor grumbles but still did what she was been told.
She folds her blanket and put it in her little locker and locked it."Goodmorning Delia".She greeted,sounding cheerful.
"You look too happy for someone who turns from princess to a maid".Delia says without any hint of emotion.
Eleanor nods."So,Delia where is your post?".
"At the kitchen".Even when she was being bothered by this pest she still found herself answering to her questions.
"So where did you shower?".Her question made Delia to burst into laughter,something that the other servants had never seen and they were all shocked.
"W..why are you laughing?".
"Darling".Delia took Eleanor slender shoulder in her hand. "We have our bath twice in a week-".
"WHAT!?".Delia washed her face and gestured for Eleanor to do the same and she obeyed.
Delia dried her face with a dry towel and tossed it to Eleanor. "Bye".And she head for the door but frozed when she heard someone whispers.
"I never imagine the ice beauty can laugh. She's like Lucifer's wife,if he do have one".She whispered to her friend.
"Hey!".Delia called."If you wanna gossip then whisper,you idiot.And I don't want you to ever mention me or else I will burn you to ashes".She threatens and strode out with Eleanor at her tail.
"Wow,that was so amazing".Eleanor gave her a thumbs up.
"It was nothing close to amazing, I just threatened her,silly".
"Ok,talking about what we said a while ago,do you guys get paid?You know wages?".
"Few that get hired gets paid but if you're been brought from street you belong here,so you won't be getting paid just like you".Delia explains.
"What about you?".Eleanor asked."What if I tell you I just woke up and next thing my name is Delia,huh?".
Eleanor entire body suddenly went rigid by her words."W...What do you really mean?".
Eleanor could act foolish sometimes but she wasn't dumb not to know there was a specific meaning behind her words.
"There is Nora,go serve your master".Delia pushed her towards Nora's direction.
"Delia!".Eleanor called and she turns back."Good luck".She wished her and ran to meet Nora.
Delia lips curves into a simple smile and she walks away.
"Mrs.Nora-".
"What took you so long,Princess!"Nora interrupts.
"I...I was-".
"I don't care and I don't give a fuck!".Mrs.Nora snorts."You get in there,sit like a good girl and wait until I come back.And don't wake the Lord up".Mrs.Nora instructs and storms off.
"What's her problem?".She wondered before taking a deep breath and quietly walk in,closing the door behind her.
And there he was,Lord Dimitrix sleeping innocently like he could never hurt a fly but she knew it was the highest order of lies.
Her hand inconspicuously went up to her ear and she touched the exact place he had kissed."Jerk!".She cursed before lowering herself to his level."Abracadabra,forget what had happened at the assembly hall".She quickly withdraw before he wakes up."Gosh!I stinks,since he isn't up I should quickly shower".She nods in agreement,grab a clean towel and dash into his royal bathtub.
Dimitrix was awaken by the sound of rain patting against his window,he yawns and he stood up,stretching out his muscles.
His eyes search around but no sign of Eleanor.
Didn't he inform Nora last night to bring Eleanor over here at dawn.
He sigh and got up,put on his robe over his half-naked body and ties his hair into a knot before ringing the small bell before his bed and immediately Nora arrived at his room.
"My lord"She bowed.
Dimitrix eyes fixed on her that made her shriek in fear since he remained silent. "M..m..my lord".She stutter.
"Nora,if I can remember I personally informed you to bring the new maid over here,whether am awake or not .But guess what she's not here".He commented,sounding sarcastic.
"I personally brought her here and told her to stay put,I swear on my late father's grave".
Dimitrix gaze soften when he saw the sincerity in her eyes."Erik".He called and he match out from the shadow. "Eleanor is missing,check every corner of this palace,she wouldn't have gone far".He instructs.
Erik nods and disappeared into thin air.
"Ahh".Eleanor sigh in relieve as she step out of the royal bathroom. "I feel so refreshing.....".Her voice dies off as her gaze met with Lord Dimitrix and Madam Nora eyes filled with great shock.
"E...Eleanor, how dare you!".Nora forcefully pushed the word from her lips."Eleanor! Do you realize this is a great offense-".
In an instant Nora sealed her lips once Dimitrix rose his hand demanding silence.
"Leave us".He simply ordered and she left.
Once she had left,Eleanor felt his burning gaze on her that made her entire body catch goosebumps.
"So".He drawl out ."What were you doing in my bathtub?".He asked and sat down.
Those red eyes of his never left her.
"I...I felt so dirty".Dimitrix hummed and lit up his smoking pipe,blew from it and puffs it out."Why don't you let your servant take proper bath,huh?".
"Let me guess,princess, the servants in your palace are properly taken care of-".
"Ofcourse, besides they're your people!we are meant to be taken care of ".Dimitrix was amused by every of her expression.
He found her so amusing."Princess, if you keep saying that,I will assume that you aren't a princess".He shrugs."But it's good you have started adapting to your new environment".He puffs out a perfect smoke ring."That reminds me what brought you to my territory".
She was taken back by his question,she had already forgotten what had brought her here.
And she won't allow Vivian sacrifices to go in vain,she had to find answers and go back to her home,her world before she gets too attach.
"You asked me yesterday,I got lost"..She lies.
Dimitrix brow rose up in question. He found her word so hard to believe.'Lies'.He said to himself.
Did she by any chance remembered him?He wondered."Dimitrix-".
"Lord Dimitrix".He quickly corrected her."Go get me my breakfast".He ordered.
"Are you having it here in your chamber?".She enquiries.
He nods in reply and she exit his room.
Dimitrix smoke from his smoking pipe once more before shifting his gaze to Erik who appeared before him.
"I didn't see her,my Lord. ..should I -"
"Don't. Don't bother,she was having a shower in my bathtub".He chuckled. "I wondered why she came over here to my Empire".He mumbled,stroking his chin.
"If I may ask,My Lord,why do you make her as your maid if you're in love with her?".
"My sister will be suspicious,she won't accept her especially when she's from Esmeralda or any other kingdom,I don't want to put her life in jeopardy".He mumbled, staring into space.
Eleanor found her way to the royal kitchen,she was about to enter when Aurora stops her from going any further.
Eleanor eye brow rose in question.
"What?".Aurora scoffed and fold her arm underneath her breast.
Aurora arrogantly stared at her former appearance. "How dare you walk past me without showing me the respect I deserve!".
"Ow,I...I am sorry?".Eleanor tilt her head.
"Is that really an apology???".She growl at her."You deserve to be punished!".
Aurora was irritated by her own former self,she hated this face,it kept on reminding her of what she had went through, she hated everything about Eleanor."Go get me my breakfast, if you do I might forgive you-".
"I wasn't assign to serve you,Aurora.I was made as Lord Dimitrix's personal maid not yours".She retort back.
Aurora face tighten with rage.
"How dare you!!!!!!".Aurora raised her hand to slap her but someone caught her wrist,stopping her.
"How dare you,Aurora!".And he twisted her wrist causing her to cry out in pain.
Dimitrix red eyes darkened with rage."You of all should know I hate it when someone touch what belongs to me".He roughly swat her hand away."She won't be serving you,now get lost!If you appear in front of her,am gonna kill you!!!".He roared,not giving her a chance to defend herself. "Eleanor prepare yourself, we're going out".And he walked away with Eleanor trailing behind him.
Aurora clench her fist in rage as she glared at the retreating figures.
And she storm off.
By the time Eleanor reached Dimitrix's Chamber, Dimitrix had already taken his bath.
She barge into his room and bump into a wall.'Oops not a wall but a person'.She bumped into Dimitrix wet bare chest that made her cheek flamed up.
"S..Sorry".She heard herself say,feeling bashful.
