(The night of the chemistry test between the main leads)
I stood downstairs, patiently waiting for Stella outside the building. She had texted me about how well the chemistry read test went, and although she hadn't asked me to pick her up, I wanted to congratulate her in person. As she emerged from the door, engrossed in her phone and wearing a radiant smile, her eyes sparkling, I couldn't help but wonder what had captured her attention so intensely.
Driven by curiosity, I approached her, playfully snatching her phone from her grasp. At first, she seemed surprised, but then a light chuckle escaped her lips as she attempted to reclaim her phone. Holding it above her reach, I teased her, enjoying the sight of her jumping and pouting her lips. It was endearing to witness her futile attempts, and she eventually ceased her efforts, resigning herself to defeat.
"Are you giving up so easily?" I teased, unable to contain my wide smile.
