Chapter 1 - Prologue

The strong smell of mud fills my nose, the cold wind hits my skin, my throat is dry and my lips are trembling. Hunger slowly takes hold of every part of my body. Rain falls outside, bringing me even closer to my fateful end.

I'm huddled in the corner where the rain can't get in, thrashing in the cold. I hear the sound of something hitting the metal of the bars. I open my eyes and standing in front of me is a man.

He's shirtless, showing his voluptuous muscles and huge scar scarred all over. The beard was badly shaved, with flaws on the left side. His hair was shaved off, and in its place were several black tattoos of strange symbols. Dressed in just a pair of bearskin pants and a velvet boot. Two belts tied between the chest and back hold two axes.

— Then? — He asks, revealing his crooked, yellowed teeth. — Are you still going to continue with this stubbornness? — His devilish smile is striking, bringing a unique feature to his face.

— I will never join you. — I get up and walk to face him. — I'd rather die!

— Your stubbornness is as great as your courage, cursed child. — He spits on the floor, and shoves his arm through the bars holding the collar of the rag I wear, pinning me against the metal bars. — If you want to die, we'll get it for you, easy, easy.

He throws me back to the ground, mud flying in my face. When did things end up like this? When did my life walk up to this moment? I don't know if I will survive this, but one thing is for sure. If I manage to escape this place, this bastard will be the first to die. I still remember when I got here. No, not here, in this barbaric camp filth, but when I walked through that white light and found myself in a strange place, in a strange situation.

What white light? Well, it came about after I… died… It's hard to spread now, believe me, I know. Therefore, I will tell from the beginning, since I died, the meeting with that being, and the beginning of this new life.
