Han Li replied simply after closing her eyes, "Nothing worth worrying about, it's not like everyone knows its me. Just focus on the transfer, no mishap shall happen there, everything should be well and fully equipped."
Having said that, they both fell silent as they thought about things they have to do after returning, from digging to cleaning.
Thinking so, Li Yushen suddenly smiled as he said warmly, "We will have to work hard after all cleaning humans requires quite a lot of energy."
Han Li also smiled as she thought about returning, "Mmm... We gotta finish every untouched work."
"Speaking of which, I was thinking now that we're transferring there doesn't that mean we'll be facing off with Zeus Group? You know the saying, 'There can't be two tigers on a single mountain'... however, if you become the tigress, things might get easier." Li Yushen chuckled, though there was a glint of mischief in his eyes.
Han Li shot him a look, her gaze sharp enough to cut through steel. "Do you want me to wash your mouth out with soap?" she said, her voice dangerously calm.
Li Yushen raised his hands in mock surrender. "Whoa, I'm just saying, Boss. You've already got his mark on you—your words don't carry the same weight anymore," he teased, pointing at the silver bracelet subtly hidden under her watch.
Looking at the bracelet on her wrist, Han Li pressed her lips into straight line "You think I don't want to remove it?"
The bracelet had been on her wrist since her 18th birthday. God knows what kind of material it was made of—no matter what method she used, it never came off. She had tried everything—cutting, burning, even melting it with fire—yet the damn thing remained unscathed. The only thing she earned from her attempts was a painful set of blisters. The only way to remove it was to cut off her hand.
So, instead of hurting herself over a mere bracelet, she let it stay and covered it up with watches or scarves. But hiding it didn't mean it didn't exist.
Across from her, Li Yushen pressed his lips together, clearly trying to suppress a laugh. If he dared to say another word, he was sure he'd be kicked out of the office.
Taking a deep breath, Han Li changed the subject. "When is Mo Long arriving?"
"He landed an hour ago. He should be here soon." Li Yushen glanced at his Rolex 57 watch.
Seeing Han Li leaning back against the sofa, he stood up. "You should get some rest. I'll go handle the preparations. When Mo Long arrives, I'll let you know."
Han Li nodded, dismissing him with a wave. The moment she heard the soft click of the door closing, she removed her watch and stared at the bracelet.
It was a silver bracelet adorned with nine black diamonds, each embedded with precision. The craftsmanship was exquisite, elegant, and undeniably custom-made. The nine black diamonds symbolized its giver—the King of Darkness.
On the underside of the bracelet, a single word was engraved in black:
ZEUS.
It stood out against the silver, as if the name refused to be overlooked.
Looking at the name written in black, Han Li's eyes went deep and indifferent, no emotion could be detected in them.
She stood up, walking towards the floor-to-ceiling windows, her gaze falling on the snowflakes drifting outside. The frozen lake in front of Greenberg was as still as her heart.
She thought of her grandfather.
This place had once been her home.
Now, it was nothing but a ghost of the past.
Her thoughts drifted to her parents, and her eyes dimmed. But before grief could settle, another aged face surfaced in her mind—one that made her tighten her jaw and straighten her spine.
Han Li pushed down her emotions, turned back towards her desk, and picked up the phone.
"Ling Yi, bring me coffee."

IG group front entrance,
A black Roll Royce phantom parked in the front of the building. A man around 26 years old comes out of the shotgun seat, his striking hairstyle make him look even younger, but his slight feminine face was currently covered with anger and a deep frown pasted between his brows as he muttered something in low voice.
Mo Long, the current top makeup artist in France, has numerous awards in his pocket. Countless top actresses around the world try every mean to invite him just because his name is prone to make people superior.
Mo Long came from mainland and became famous 4 years ago in France. He did an amazing job in quite a lot blockbuster movies, which helped him win the 'best youngest makeup artist' award.
Recently he started his own cosmetics brand by the name of 'Beauty'. Due to this, he had to roam around different cities in France. If not for his personal closeness with IG and Han Li he would not have come back to city A anytime soon.
A second after Mo Long got off, the driver's side door opened next, and another young man stepped out.
Unlike Mo Long, his face held a lazy, unruly smile.
He was dressed in all black—a leather jacket over a fitted shirt and pants. His hands were tucked casually into his pockets, exuding a bad-boy charm that attracted trouble like a magnet.
Heng Yu.
As soon as Heng Yu turned, his eyes landed on Mo Long, the man, who was sitting shotgun with him just a few seconds ago, keeping 4 feet distance from him.
Heng Yu: "...."
His lips twitched slightly, "Beauty~ if you keep such a big distance from me, others will think I have some kind of contagious disease"
Mo Long's face darkened "Heng Yu! Don't you fu*king call me that! Who the hell sent you to pick me up?! I will fight that person to death!!"
Heng Yu laughed slightly and said with a bright smile, moving his hand back and forth in front of him "No! No! Beauty~ you can't fight now. What if you break your finger or hand during a fight, then who will do my boss's makeup? So be a good boy beauty~ and stay calm."
He moved closer to Mo Long and raised his arm to put on the latter's shoulder. Mo Long immediately flared up, sensing Heng Yu's movements "You! SHUT UP!! Take your hands off me!!"
"Hey! buddy! There's no need to shout like that, my ears are fine." Exclaimed Heng Yu while rubbing his ears. "I am just appreciating your good looks man! You are so beautiful!"
