Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Storm woke up when her friends barged into her room, the sun was out, and Meghan and Paige plummeted onto her bed.

"You have to tell us everything!" Paige exclaimed.

"How much did you all see?"

"Enough, well specifically when you asked for Brian's number, and Chase went after you when you left," Meghan replied.

"You two were watching me like hawks."

"You mean everyone," Paige replied.

"Everyone was watching us?"

"How could we not, seemed as if something was simmering between the two of you," Meghan replied.

Storm told them everything that had happened and her friends took in every single drop of her words as they listened intently.

"You pissed off Chase?" Paige replied with her eyes widening.

"To be fair, he pissed me off first all I did was respond to him."

"Well, at least he did say he will see you around." Meghan joked.

"Chase aside, I want to text Brian but I don't know what I should say."

"Don't overthink, but don't do too much to scare him away," Meghan replied

Storm laughed, "What does that even mean?"

"You can come on pretty strong but hopefully Brian can handle that ass." This time it was Paige.

They all burst out laughing, "Besides where did Brian go last night?"Meghan added.

"He went to Beverly, that is all I know."

"BEVERLY?" Both her friends said at the same time she wondered why they were reacting like that, "What's wrong?"

"Do you live under a rock?" Paige asked.

"No."

"You really need to go out more Storm." Said Meghan.

"Are you two ever going to tell me what the big deal is in regards to Beverly."

"Top of the list, Beverly is friends with queen Natalie. They have a pack that is untouchable and most of them even though they share the male wolves, they're known to be main girls." Paige replied.

"So what you're saying is that we're the mistresses?"

Both her friends laughed, "Yes, you can put it that way."

"That sucks I guess."

"You have to behave or else they will make your life a living hell," Meghan replied.

"Who cares, we are here to have fun."

"That's the spirit!" Paige replied.

"You two have not told me how yours went"

Meghan began hers first, "Well Noah and I really hit it off, he was actually nice, and he asked me for my number. Which I gave it to him gladly, and his scent is to die for."

"Well Collin and I had an amazing night and he wanted to see me again, so yay for that. Hopefully, things work out." Paige added dreamily.

"Don't they all have their main girls, as you two ladies love to put it?"

"Who cares, old with the out, new with the in," Paige replied.

"We live only once so why not?"

"I'm guessing we are then going to go to the picnic today?"

"What picnic?"

"You're so living under a rock," Meghan replied.

"Well, you're too out."

"It's a lake day so it should be fun," Paige added.

"Can we first get something into our bodies before we get ready to go bask in the sun?"

"I hope we can have as much fun as we did last night."

They went to the kitchen and got some food to eat, they scarfed it down as they were hungry, the last meal they had was last night.

The minute that they finished eating, Meghan, Paige, and she went to see what clothes they would be wearing for the afternoon.

They were excited and they all decided to wear sun-dresses over their bikinis in case they would swim, and they packed things that they would need.

"This is the first time that we have put so much effort into going to swim."

"I know, that's when you know." Meghan winked at her.

They checked everything once more and when that is done they head out to the lake. They looked at the directions and they decided to take a leisure walk rather than run fast.

The air was humid and they all felt it.

"I'm guessing we might be getting into the lake after all." Said Paige.

"Are we going in the right direction?"

"If I'm also being honest, I don't know," Meghan replied.

They all laughed, as they always found it funny when they go lost and they pulled themselves together and carried on walking.

They all celebrated when they came to the clearing and it was spectacular.
