Joy was discharged, she wanted to stay and watch over Liana but Xavier sent her home with Gerald so she could rest.
Sitting inside Gerald's car Joy frowned looking at him
"I think Xavier forgot about my home being burnt down, all my things go e with it"
Gerald scoffed, "he didn't forget"
"Then where was he sending me to, I might have saved up a lot but it can't support me living in a hotel for weeks," she said voice filled with worry.
He moved his hand over hands, "I wanted to ask you after you woke up but decided to wait. I know we have fully established our relationship but I wanted to ask you to move in with me " he said seeing her facial expression change, "I mean until your fully back on your feet financially to afford another place " he added.
He watched as the expressions of her face changed from sad to confused to surprised to happy.
"You want me to move in with you?" she asked and he nodded.
"If you feel comfortable enough to share my home with you," he said.
She smiled with tears in her eyes, "Yes, I would love to" falling into his chest and hugging him so tight.
"I might be immortal but this hug is getting too tight " he chuckled placing a kiss on her head.
Joy let go and sat back. "Thank you "
He smiled and started the car off to his place.

His parents had to leave to go back and do their duties in the underworld. His mother had promised to return and check on Liana.
Xavier kept. watch will he worked, he had just read news about Liana's company being sold off to one of her competitors by her father.
With Lucian gone and his wife now rebelling against him, Liana's father was taking over and showing his real face.
Xavier sighed and turned his golden eyes to where Liana was resting. She had bee. like that, for so long it was starting to scare him. He was glad they could save them both, she would be happy to see her friend alive and okay.

Picking up his phone, which was ringing.
"Hello, Richard," he said. ..."yes and she's recovering " he got up walking to her window. "I saw the news and was out to call you too " he smiled listening to the other on the phone.
"Am glad you're considering that, I would meet you personally but I can't leave her side. My assistant will meet you tomorrow to finalize the deal and sign the contract " he said Xavier's golden eyes rested upon Liana's face, "Thank you, Richard " he said hanging up.
He sent a text to his assistant and walked to her bed.
Xavier gently raised her hand holding it in his, he bent down placing a kiss on her cheek.
"I miss you, please wake up " he whispered in her ear.
He laid down with his arms around her, patiently waiting for her eyes to open soon.
