Liana had fallen asleep after she was fed by her mother. When she woke up Xavier was laying next to her on the bed.
He smiled when her eyes met his, "that was a long nap, I guess you haven't been sleeping well " he said.
She smiled moving closer to him. His arms embraced her.
"Hmm, I guess being looked after by both my mothers made me tired. I mean they made me cry like a baby " she said.
"Did it help?" he asked looking down at her. "Talking to her did it help with what you were going through?"
She sighed, "Talking to her made me realize a lot of things, but what I learned through all that was that no matter what they both did, they loved me "
"Really," he asked.
"Yeah, in their twisted way it was motherly love. No matter how destructive it was. Mother told me something & I realized she had wanted to change but I never gave her the chance so she used the guilty and shame into anger and let Dad and Lucian manipulate her line they did to me " she said holding him tighter.
He frowned, "I don't trust what she said, neither of them deserves your forgiveness. After what they did to you both in the past and now, I can't ever forgive them," he said.
She looked up at him with a smile, "Thank you " Liana moved to kiss his chin, "Thank you for being this protective of me and loving me unconditionally no matter what lifetime we went through together "
He sighed holding her, "You know I would do anything for you and am glad your okay but we now have to handle something urgent "
"And what is that?" she asked.
"You missed mother's birthday gathering since you left unexpectedly. She said since you can't go back she will come to you " he said.
Liana sprung up, "WHAT? why are all mothers coming after me "
Xavier fell back with a chuckle, "I guess they love you ".
She frowned hitting him.
