"Why is he here?" Lucian asked when he saw Xavier next to Liana in her office.
"He bought me lunch " she smiled.
"Did you open up a lunch delivery company for my her? " said Lucian.
"No, but if Liana needs one I can " Xavier chuckled.
Liana picked up a piece of meat and fed it to him.
Joy giggled watching them.
"If you guys are done, then I need your signature I. these," he said.
Liana nodded picking up the documents.
"Did you tell her?" Xavier asked looking at Lucian.
"Not yet?" he answered.
"Tell me what?" she asked.
"Nothing," said Lucian, "About your parents," said Xavier.
"Ahh, what happened to those two?" Liana asked.
Xavier fell silent and smirked watching Lucian frown.
"It's not about them it's about what they told me to do," Lucian said.
Liana still busy with the documents said, "You mean about my death attempts? I know you were involved "
Lucian stood up, "I..I...' he stammered.
She looked up after signing, " I first heard about it when Gerald and Xavier were chatting I didn't believe it at first but after I made my investigation and also secretly questioned William I found it was true " she said.
Joy sighed, "When she found out boss cried the whole night wondering why you would do that to her. But she decided to give you another chance cause you have both been through a lot together "
"Liana am really sorry, it was Dad and mom who forced me to do it. I know it sounds lame but part of me can't bring itself to disobey them "Lucian held her hand.
" I know that's why I let you stay in my life, I just don't know if I can fully trust you like before but I will try cause I love you brother and that's what matters," she said.
Lucian hugged her, "Thank you so much "
Liana smiled, "You will hug me to death if you don't let go now"
He let go, and Liana stroked her brother's cheek wiping away his tears.
"I have to leave now," she said.
"To where is he taking you somewhere?" Lucian turned to Xavier.
Liana laughed, "No, remember today is moms birthday, I need to go get my outfit for the evening party ready," she said.
"But you have never attended it since you left home," he said
"Well I am this time, and am bringing Xavier along " she smiled.
Lucian frowned but nodded.
"Joy will come with me to shop for my dress, I can't use the ones for the company " she said. "See you at the party "
Joy passed Liana's bag to Xavier and they walked out.
"Why don't I have a good feeling about all this " he murmured.
