(Thunderclouds...Lightning striking)...(A voice in the background)
Skull...Dust...Blood...Scars! Not once had the darkness been conquered, not once had the red skies become clear...for the land had been so barren, filled with trees, flowers so withered away, and the soil so hot like the fire from the dawn of creation. A kingdom that had been ruled by a supreme ruler where no one ever went against his wishes. The ancient kingdom...the land of misery...the Kingdom of CHAOS!!! (Lightning striking).
(Voice slowly fading away)...
Gerald was opening the front door and was walking into the house. "Grandpa! Grandpa, you're home!" Anna was saying in an excited tone as she hurried down the stairs and jumped into Gerald's arms. "Yes, I'm home, my little peanut! See how much you've grown these last few hours. You're almost as tall as I am," Gerald replied as he was expressing his love for his lovely granddaughter with a smile on his face. He was lifting her up and giving her a warm hug. A few minutes later, Anna had fallen asleep on his shoulder, so he was carrying her to her room and tucking her in. "I'll do all I can to protect you, my beautiful girl. I wish you wouldn't have to bear this burden, but fate had already decided. Until the world was truly safe, the house of Windsom had a duty to protect the world from Chaos," he said with a sad expression on his face as he placed a green dinosaur doll beside Anna. "So grow up healthy and kind...Anna." Gerald was kissing her forehead and turning off the lights. His footsteps continued to echo....
Vision was blurring as Michael's sword was clashing against Grimoire's axe. Anna lay still on the floor, unable to move as the two continued to clash, creating a series of vibrations around them and a sonic boom with each movement of their weapons. The alley was engulfed in flames instantly, and several buildings were being destroyed. "Anna! Anna! Snap out of it! Anna!!!" Michael was continuing to reach out, but Anna was frozen in fear, unable to hear anyone around her. Michael was having a hard time defending against Grimoire's attacks. "If only I had my strength. I could defeat him in an instant. Who am I kidding? The least I can do is escape from the monster right in front of me. He's too strong," Michael was realizing as he said to himself while having these thoughts. Grimoire was wearing a blank expression on his face as he swung his axe. He was in a different league entirely. His power was surpassing that of the Angel before him. "We need to escape. It's too dangerous to continue while Anna's defenseless," Michael was deciding to escape with Anna while his opponent was distracted. He was taking a leap backward to create distance between them, but Grimoire had already seen through his plan. Before Michael's feet could land, Grimoire suddenly appeared behind him at the speed of light and gave him a punch that sent him flying three blocks away, creating a massive shockwave.
Grimoire was trying to approach Anna as he saw her defenseless. "You're coming with me," Grimoire was saying as he moaned in pain. Unfortunately, as he was about to take Anna, a dark fog was beginning to surround her, forming a sort of barrier around her. Anna was rendered unconscious. A figure was emerging from the barrier. He had two horns on his head and was wearing a black scarf around his neck. His bracelets and armored boots were crafted with gold. He also had a scar right below his right eye that made it look like he had escaped from a very dangerous battle that could have made him lose a piece of himself.
"This one was belonging to the Warlord," the evil said in a serious tone. Grimoire continued to advance towards Anna while ignoring the man's taunt. "Get out of my way and move along while you can. I won't say it twice," he said as he dragged his axe on the floor with a serious expression on his face. "You were way out of the Capital. This was District Seven... whether you died or not, no one would care," the evil replied in a cold manner. Grimoire laughed as he heard this and charged at him. He was about to strike down the one before him but noticed that his axe had completely broken down to pieces before it even struck him. "What did you do?" Grimoire was saying in an annoyed manner as he continued to moan in pain.
Apparently, the evil had touched the axe with a finger in a speed of light, which completely destroyed it. Grimoire was feeling enraged by this but instinctively knew his opponent was stronger. "I shall retreat, but know that I'll be back," Grimoire said as he vanished along with a sandstorm. "Let's not keep him waiting," the evil said as he carried Anna and vanished along with her in a dark fog. Michael suddenly regained consciousness, but it was too late, as Anna had already been taken. He was walking back to the alley but found nothing but the destruction caused by his fight with Grimoire. "I have failed her. I was not strong enough," Michael was saying as he fell to his knees. He was feeling sad and blaming himself for Anna's captivity. Michael was about to leave when he suddenly saw a lock of Anna's hair. He knew she could still be saved as he picked up the hair. All hope was not lost. Michael grabbed his blade and sheathed it as he covered his face with his hood. He was continuing his journey towards Desire's Castle.
(Note: One of Michael's abilities was one which enabled him to locate any creature as long as he had something of theirs. In this aspect, Anna's hair was a guide to her present location)...
A few moments Later....
Anna had finally regained consciousness but had found herself in a dark room with no source of light. She was chained to the bed on which she lay. "Where am I?" Anna was saying with tears in her eyes. She was scared and felt nothing but loneliness. Suddenly, a chair in the room started to swing back and forth as if someone were sitting on it, but unfortunately, it was empty. Again, she had started to hear music from nowhere. Anna was terrified as she knew she had no chance of getting out of this situation. Then, she had heard scratches over the walls as if they were being made by a monster. At that moment, her heart began to beat really fast. Immediately, a source of light had come in through the curtains, and at the wall to her right, she saw three dead human corpses with their guts spilling out. One was an old man who was missing a few fingers and had a slice over his belly. He had been covered in blood, and his liver was ripped out, hanging over his stomach. The other was a woman who had her two legs cut off, and she also had a slice over her chest with her liver hanging out and her heart, which was placed around her neck with chains, covered in blood. The third was sliced in the neck, causing his blood to gush out over his entire body, and his eyes were plucked out. His flesh had been torn around his chest, and his mouth was torn as if it could fall off at any moment.
However, they were all recognizable to Anna. Apparently, the first one had been Gerald, and the other had been Anna's mother. The third had been her childhood friend, Eric, who had been with her ever since she was orphaned. Anna had begun to weep loudly as she blamed herself for what had happened to them. "I'm sorry... it's all my fault," she had said while weeping loudly and covering her face. Suddenly, the dead bodies had replied to Anna. "Yes, you killed us. You killed everyone who loved you. You're cursed, Anna," Gerald had said with a creepy smile on his face. "You killed your father and me. You don't deserve to be happy. You murderer!" Anna's mother had said as she wept in a creepy way. "I loved you and followed you ever since we were kids. I never asked you for anything except for your love.Eric was saying, "I tried my best to become a man worthy of you, and where did I end up? I died because of you. You deserved every bad thing that happened to you. You're a murderer, Anna," with his jaw looking like it could fall off at any moment. They all were beginning to repeat the same words about Anna being a murderer.
Anna was continuing to weep as she heard this. Suddenly, the door was beginning to creak like someone was about to enter the room. As soon as Anna heard this, she was stopping her crying and looking in the direction of the door. She was trembling in fear, with tears all over her face and her hair messy. The door was continuing to creak, and what Anna first saw was a rotten leg with blood all over its footsteps. She was so terrified as she was trying to break the chains but could not. Eventually, the door opened, and what she saw was herself. This version of her looked monstrous, and she had stitches all over her body. She was also holding a knife with rune symbols all over it.
"Come play with me, Anna," Monstrous Anna was saying with a creepy smile on her face as she pointed the knife at her. Anna was screaming out loudly, and her voice was continuing to echo. Her monstrous self was continuing to walk towards her. The door suddenly closed and locked itself.
Meanwhile, Anna was in a trance, and none of what she was seeing was actually real. She had been placed in a dungeon as soon as the Evil had brought her to the Castle. "It appeared our guest was awake," the Evil was saying as he bowed before the Warlord. "Bring her before me. I shall know her heart's desire," the Warlord was saying while he sat comfortably on his throne with a staff made out of skeleton bones in his right hand.
(Note: Anna was placed in the Room of Reflection. It's a room that was specially designed to bring out the worst fears of any creature)...
