With those words, Ruby pulled up the system screen.
'Jav?'
[Hack the cameras]
'Good! It seems you became so close to me that you now know what I'm thinking.' A light smile was across Ruby's face as he looked at the race.
Meanwhile, in the surveillance room—
Bernard squinted with his gaze fixed on Ruby. Cal, standing beside him, watched with a bored expression.
He still didn't get why his boss was glaring at the screen like that. 'Let's do something more important!'
Cal wanted to scream this at his boss, but he couldn't. He just swallowed his frustration and watched.
Soon, the camera showed Ruby whispering something to the two curvy girls at his side.
Bernard's eyes narrowed again at this.
"Fuck! why can't the cameras pick up sound?" Barnard yelled, slamming his hands into the table, which snapped into two instantly.
"Actually, it can pick up sounds, but the thing is that it can't pick up whispers," Cal whispered a little, not for Bernard to hear!
He didn't want the man to direct his anger at him.
Gritting his teeth, Bernard controlled himself and decided to continue his watch once more.
However, after Ruby whispered his command to the system, all the cameras were only focused on him, who was smiling as he watched the race. The cameras showed other parts of the casino, but...
Natasha and Muna were not shown. It was like the two girls were invisible to the camera.
"What the fuck is happening, Cal?"
Being the tech man, Cal could only sigh and get to work.
"Where did those bitches go?" Bernard screamed.
"That's the reason I'm on the seat right now." Cal fixed his eyes on the screen as he tapped away on the keyboard.
"They were right there! I'm sure! my eyes weren't deceiving me!" Bernard knew one or two things about computers, so he quickly got to work on one of the computers as well.
If Javi were here, he'd have said:
'Motherfuckers! I'm computer Itself, so what the fuck are you doing?!'
Sometime later, they gave up.
"Maybe it's some kind of invisible ability?" Cal suggested it, not really sure.
"You're saying they are super humans??"
At the arena—
Muna and Natasha sat at a table not too far from where the horse race was currently going on.
Both of them had a glass of red wine as they took a glance around. Some dudes, not too far from them, saw the looks and waved.
"Someone is looking to die!" Yup, that's what was on Natasha's mind.
For her, no one can compare to her darling. Her darling was not only handsome for a human, but she could say he could rival some demons as well, but the fucker...
He was so old that his face was covered by fluffy wrinkles, which made it hard to see his eyes.
"Ughhh! Disgusting!" Muna and Natasha said at once as they shifted their gaze to another spot.
The man, however, soon stood up and approached them with his walking cane.
"Yeah, trouble comes," Muna whispered as she made a bloody needle that would be hard for a camera to pick up and sent it towards the man approaching them.
Pttch!
The middle stuck the man's butt, and he fell asleep, literally!
"Come on, let's continue our search."
Natasha and Muna kept glancing around until their eyes fell on someone with an egg-shaped head.

Where the horse race was going on—
'Hmmmmm, he finally came out, huh?' Ruby said as he looked at a towering figure with an egg-shaped head, to be specific.
'Anyway, I should focus on the race for now, but Javi, keep a close eye on him.'
Sometime later—
Ruby won again, and this time it was a total of 6 billion dollars.
If someone had told Ruby he'd make this much from this mission, he wouldn't have believed it. Well, he had just found a new source of money.
The other gamblers all stared at Ruby, and some of them whispered something to their huge, gym-trained bodyguards standing close to them.
'Oh, so this is how you guys want to play, huh?' Ruby thought.
A man in Arab clothes smirked as he showed Ruby an advanced gun that was capable of killing a superhero with one bullet.
'As expected, these folks sure have a lot of money to even acquire such a rare gun.'
As far as Ruby knew, guns would easily cost a billion.
Just that was enough to let him know what would be waiting for him as soon as he stepped out of this casino.
Luckily, the casino had no fighting rules, so Ruby doubts if they'd try anything stupid.
And again, you can't really know what these rich folks are thinking.
The laws never applied to them because as long as you have money, rules don't apply to you.
After a while, the men still raised their placards, signifying they wanted to place another bet. However, Ruby didn't raise him.
'If I continue like this, I'll attract unwanted troubles, so I should just quit for now.'
With these thoughts, Ruby walked to a seat not too far from where Muna and Natasha were seated, and his eyes were on the horse race. But there was an invisible holographic screen showing Bernard approaching the seat where his girls were seated.
"Hey, ladies, can I take a seat with you guys?" Bernard asked with a slight smile across his face.
'So it's you who is giving my darling a hard time, huh?'
Natasha thought as she smiled a charming smile with a little bit of her demonic charm.
Bearnard had come down in search of two girls, hoping to ask them a few questions, but as soon as he saw their cute smiles, he forgot everything, and his dragon was now twitching uncontrollably.
His questions can wait!
These girls need to serve his bed.
'Take a hold of yourself! You can bang her later.' Bernard thought to himself as he took a seat.
"So are you girls alone?" he struck up a conversation.
"Yes, we're."
"Oh?"
'aren't they with that dude? Or maybe they want bigger fish instead.' Bernard smiled as he thought about that last line.
He was one of the richest folks in Las Vegas after all, and with his money, he had successfully stolen a lot of women from their husbands and boyfriends, so he took them as another collection to his women.
"My name is Barnard Costa; you might not know, but I'm a member of the meta-organization."
He expected, "Wow!"
But the girls just said:
"Oh, that's nice."
"..."
Is it that they don't know about the meta or that they aren't simply putting it in their eyes?'
Considering that Meta was a huge organization, it shocked Bernard.
"So why don't I take you girls somewhere nice? We could talk there and do some dirty things; what do you say?"

okay, this is my first time of writing a novel, so there a lot of mistakes.
for one, I heard the pacing was too fast and I threw in a lot of characters too quick.
I'll really appreciate if you could at least list some of The mistakes and the plot as whole in the comment section.
you can be as harsh as you want. I'm still learning so I'll entertain any corrections so that in the next volume, I won't make such mistakes again.
