'This is a first. The system hasn't issued this kind of quest before. I thought it would be something like defeating whatever that thing is…' Ruby slightly raised his gaze to the horizon, staring at the shadowy tunnel approaching him.
'Now I know why.'
The car started going off lane as it started to quiver. The driver's eyes have gone dead like the rest, swirling with the same shadowy circle.
Using his elbow, Ruby smashed the door ajar. 'Should jump out, just take a hold of the wheels.' he contemplated what to do as the car galloped forward and bumped into a street light.
'Ok, that answers it.' Leaping out of the car, Ruby decided to bolt out of this place as much as he could.
'Fuck my old appearance. My life is more important than this stupid act.'
He completely shelves his appearance. At this point, he wouldn't give any fuck to anyone because whosoever was behind was no joke.
'I'm I different? Why am I still sane?' OK, Ruby was now getting confused bit by bit. First, it seems like he was the only sane person I'm this whole district.
'Maybe it is his doing!' With those thoughts, Ruby swiftly darted behind a car as he peered at the shadowy tunnel.
This phenomenon was certainly strange. He had never seen any super that could use this set of skills, and to top it off, on multiple people at once.
'System, can you analyze this situation?'

'Ok, that introduction feels scary, but it makes me wonder, I'm a villain for heavens shake so why the fuck is he chasing me?'
Ruby felt like saying, hey I'm a villain tooooo! But the dude over there looks anything but for chitchat right now.
'This is no longer about the quest. It's my ultimate survival. I'll not die like a bitch without even fulfilling my promise.
'Let's test this so-called 3rd most dangerous Villain; let's see if he lives up to name!'
Determined, It seems like all the Chains concealing him seem to shatter into bits as he rises and starts pacing toward the shadow.
Leaping up, Ruby stood on the roof of a Milky SUV. The car honked fiercely, luring the shadowy tunnel.
"Oh! Oh! Who do we have here? Are you by any chance the famous Nightmare?" A voice reverberated from the tunnel.
'Mock me all you want, bastard!' Without any more thought, Ruby raised his hands into the air and a gigantic gun appeared.
"Let's see if you live up to your name as the 3rd most dangerous Villain!" He unleashed a barrage of bullets. No bombs as though it was a missile going off for lunch.
He didn't give a damn about any loss of property here or the lives here. He needed to get out of here by all means. 'Even if it comes to sacrificing a few humans.'

with each finger movement, bullets shot out of the gun's massive muzzle. The cars at the side flew up as they erupted. Dead bodies were tossed everywhere as though they were rag dolls.
However, despite all this, their eyes didn't lose that circling glint.
'The more I shoot. The more this guy sends dread through my spine!'
The shadowy tunnel would distort with each missile, but it would reform as though it was never destroyed in the first place.
Seeing this, Ruby took another alternative. Dropping a smoke bomb at the spot where he stood, Smoke, enveloped him completely as he teleported from the spot.
When the spot cleared, there was no one at the spot. Inside the gloomy shadowy tunnel, a silhouette of a human could be seen. It was the red-eyed man. 'Where the hell did he go to?
'It seems he is not completely stupid. I guess That would be the reason for the white house to deem him as a threat.'
"Boozo!" The man heard these words as he saw a figure burst through his shadowy tunnel with a greatsword in his grasp.
Descending, the figure did a brutal slash downward with sheer force radiating out of it. However, when the sword was about to connect, the red-eyed man distorted into black mist and merged with the tunnel.
'Fuck! Fuck!' Ruby caused as he slash the empty air. 'He's the third-ranked villain for a reason, so he'll be stronger than me, but I'll not go down without a fight!"
Gritting his teeth, Ruby started slashing the shadowy tunnel wildly. His face was crazed as each slash made countless ripples appear. The shadowy tunnel started dispelling as though it was wounded.
"Well, well, it seems like you didn't fail me one bit. I would have been embarrassed to be called a villain if you didn't even cause a dent in my tunnel!"
"Shut up, you freak, why the fuck are you trying to kill me. Aren't we all villains here?"
Ruby didn't understand this man. They were all villains here so naturally, their enemies should be the heroes, not him.
"I agree we are all villains, but me? It's all for myself and for the cash!"
With these words, the red-eyed man appeared behind Ruby. His body appeared to be made up of shadows as they constantly swirled around. His hands started lengthening until they looked lanky, then he proceeded to grab Ruby's neck, hoping for a quick twist.
However, his plans were cut short as Ruby abruptly spun around and did a horizontal slash with the sword. The man flashed a creepy smile with rows of sharp fangs before vanishing from the spot.
'I hate these damn powers. Calm down Ruby just take him as any other asshole.'
Bang!
Ruby burst out of the tunnel when he felt a hard knee to his head. Glancing into the air, he could see the red-eyed man with a great shadowed sword.
For a moment, the figure obstructed the sun, and he seemed to have become larger as he slashed down at Ruby.
Gazing into the shadows, Ruby teleported as the slash connected with the ground and a huge dent appeared as some cars close to the spot were sent flying into the air.
'ok, I've confirmed one thing. This shadow blade can make an impact on things.' Since it was a shadow, Ruby felt it wouldn't be able to touch him, but it seems like he just found out for himself.
"Hey! You have such cool power. You can just go rub some bank and you would have enough cash so why are you doing this? I bet you can even rub the world bank."
Ruby furrowed his brows. He was certain that this man can get anything with just the flick of his hands, so how much were they offering him to kill him?
"you're right! But I just wanted to have fun a little, and by the way, they offered me $500 million just to eliminate you. I don't know why they wanted to waste such an amount on a rookie villain such as yourself.
"Again, that is none of my business. All care right now is to eliminate you"
With those words, the man slashes the sword in an X shape in the air, making shadow blades form in the air.
"Now, be a good boy and come to papa. He'll just give you a swift, painless death that you would feel even in hell!" He grimaced as the shadowy blades darted toward Ruby.
'I've seen this kind of skill in anime movies, so I know exactly what it does.' Ruby flashed a cold yet sinister smile as he started teleporting from car to car.
But anytime he appeared, The shadowy blades would still follow him.
'Just as I thought, it would chase me. The only way to stop it is through contact with humans.' Darting forward, Ruby grabbed a wrecked car and yanked the door out. He grabbed a squishy man of about 50.
'sorry folk. You have already lived fifty years!' With these thoughts, he hauled the man towards the shadow blades, and the twin blades sliced through him as though it was butter before they turned into particles and dispelled.
'One down one more to go. In other words, more people will die.'
"Nice tactics. It seems like you know my skills very well, but you forget one thing! I can summon more from where that came from." The red-eyed man made another set of slashes again, and they all darted towards Ruby.
'Oh, I already took those into consideration!' Ruby teleported, and in the blink of an eye, two other humans were in his grasp again.
'Sorry again folks!'
They became half as the shadow blade chopped them into two.
The red-eyed man was now starting to get irritated as his nose flared and he gritted his teeth after seeing all his advances going to waste.
'I can't win this fight and the quest is more important than this guy.' Pulling up his system, Ruby summoned Big Bang.
GROWL. Big bang roared as though to say I'm here.
Leaping up, he landed swiftly on Big bag, and with a kick of his legs, Big bang zoomed into the sky.
"Damm it! Damm it!" Hades, the red-eyed man let out his frustration as he kicked clouds of dust into the air. Gritting his teeth, he pulled out a phone. "He got away!" A creepy smirk cracked on his face.
"But I placed a tracker on him."
