Later on, Hazel woke up and she noticed that Xavier wasn't besides her, she sat up and stretched. What was she going to do now, and she knew they might have been looking for her at the kitchen.
She just hoped Xavier had explained everything to Collins. She got up, heading to the bathroom when she noticed that her stuffs had been moved already, she was then rest assured that Xavier had told Collins but what will those maids think of her now
'I really don't care, as long as I'm with Xavier, there's nothing to worry about' she encouraged herself.
When she came out of the bathroom, she saw relles by the side
"I thought you wouldn't notice me" he complained
"How won't I" she said going closer to the bed and sat. "He confessed relles, he actually did" she said happily
"I know, he told me"
"You know, I would love to see you react to things"
"So...?"
"You can use your human form rather than keep staying in relles body"
"You don't like the rabbit anymore?"
"I don't like you in the rabbit and what's your name, like your real name"
"Elliot"
"Nice name"
"And what will you tell people I am, cause I can't just come out of no where, it will be suspicious"
"Xavier can help with that, I can just say you're my cousin or brother or friend"
"Cousin, I prefer that"
"Okay, so cousin Elliot, can you leave relles body now"
"Sure" and he left relles body standing before Hazel in his human form for the second time.
"You're really handsome"
"I know, but don't say that in front of Xavier"
"Are reapers afraid of demons"
"Of course, we are from the barrier, but demons as from land of darkness which includes the barrier so we are basically under them"
"I feel more better talking to a human than a rabbit"
"Glad to hear that" and he looked down at the rabbit he had possessed for years now "what are you going to do with him"
"Take care of him as always did"
"I'm happy cause I won't be stuck in a cage any longer"
"Tell me more about yourself Elliot, I mean, you weren't born a reaper right?"
"No, I was a human and then turned to a vampire when I left my town at Rivelle"
"You're from Rivelle?"
"Yes, I had a family like any other person, well, I can't remember my past life that much as its been hundred's of years ago"

"I knew I had a woman, Theresa was her name, I loved her but she was forced to marry a duke as he wanted her as his mistress. I was just a poor peasant then, my parents were killed as a result of fightings between the dark and white witches then" he went closer to the chair by the table and sat "that was why I felt sorry for you when Helios wanted to do so with you"
"Yeah" she said remembering that time "well, he's out of my life now"
"I left Rivelle after that and came to Borreve where I was changed to a vampire"
"You mean you were a human at Rivelle? I thought all humans come from Bougreve"
"That's not true then. I worked at the Knitten's mansion, presently the Dreve's mansion as a gardener. Can't remember much about my stay there but I was killed in a bloody way. I was stabbed several times by a witch when she noticed that I figured out she was one. I hated witches cause if that but you proved me wrong" he smiled and Hazel gave a smile also "my reaper reaper took me safely to the land of the dead, his name is Crane and he is presently a Hawnet. I wanted to be like him also"
"Wow" Hazel exclaimed
"Wow? Aren't you scared?"
"No, your life is interesting"
"With the help of my reaper who then became a Hawnet, I became a reaper and I'm only answerable to him"
"So he's just like your godfather?"
"Its technically not a church but if you put it that way, then yes"
"Then you can go explain things with him about you being framed instead of hiding here"
"There where I come from, offences aren't spared and mine is the highest if all"
"So what are you planning on doing"
"I'll see to that after I'm done with you"
"Me?"
"Yes I'm going to stay with you till I see that your life is safe and not at risk anymore, that's my assignment"
"Okay"
"What do I do, I can't possibly stay here all day"
"Just wait until Xavier comes then I'll explain to him"
"Hmmn"
"And aren't you hungry... oh I forgot you feed on ghouls but there aren't any around here"
"I'll go to the graveyard to feed on them, they feed on dead corpse I'll find them there"
"Okay, this is scary now, I'll never go to the graveyard again"
"Its only during the night time Hazel and don't fret, we do not chase after living people unless special people and since you are among them, I would advice you don't spend long time at such places"
A knock was heard from outside
"Breakfast is served" Collins said from outside
"Okay" Hazel replied shyly as she thought of what Collins might think of her as she was once again staying at Xavier's room. She then remembered what he said 'breakfast is served'
"Does that mean, we are eating at the dining" she asked Elliot
"Well he didn't bring any food in here, so I guess its that"
"Oh no"
"What's wrong"
"Come on Elliot, what will Ma'am Decron say"
"Xavier will handle that you know"
"I'm just scared"
"I heard when someone's in love, they don't care about care about what others think. Don't worry, Xavier will handle everything"
At the dining was Mrs Decron and Lady Dorin smiling at each other as they discussed in happiness as Hazel has been chased away
"You now have Xavier to yourself again" Mrs Decron said
"I wished I saw the maid before she left, I could sermon her a little"
"She'll be leaving tomorrow and I aren't sure you'll see her today cause She'll be busy with Sir Jordan"
"I heard he's interested in her"
"Heard so too"
"Why are men interested in things like her, she isn't an elite. I also heard that Lord Jeffery's deputy was too"
"As long as she's out of Herr, she isn't our problem" Mrs Decron said
"So where's Xavier, he hasn't come to eat"
"He'll be here soon"
Minutes later, Xavier came in
"Good morning son" Mrs Decron said

"I told you yesterday that Dorin will be here" she continued while Xavier used his eyes yo scan the place looking for something.
"Where's she" he asked Collins
"I called her some minutes ago, Milord
"Who" Dorin asked but Xavier paid no attention, he sat up and left
"Who is that" Mrs Decron asked Collins
"I'm sorry ma'am but the Lord gave orders not yo speak about this, you'll see it yourself"
There was a small pause and Collins spoke again
"Should I serve your food"
"You can" and he signalled the maids to do so. They had started eating when Xavier came in with someone behind. They stopped to see who it was and to their surprise, it was Hazel

"..." Mrs Decron
"..." maids
Collins kept an unchanged expression. Xavier walked to the table and sat ushering Hazel to sit besides him. Dorin and Mrs Decron were confused, shocked and surprised. Shortly after,Elliot followed in and sat too, this time Collins expression changed a little as he wondered who he was.
"You may be wondering what's happening" Xavier finally said
"What's she doing here, she meant yo be packing her stuffs" Mrs Decron blurted out
"Yes, she has packed her things......…. To my room"
"She has resigned, she isn't meant to be here" Dorin said
"She has resigned being my maid but not to leave here"
"And why is she has she moved to your room when she's no longer your maid"
"She's now my woman" he said with the least struggle. A long silence followed his statement, Hazel also stiffened at his sudden confession, she thought he would wait a little longer before he would announce it.
She tried stealing glanced at Lady Dorin and Mrs Decron and she saw their horrible faces, she turned to Xavier who was eating without any care, she turned to Collins who also held an unchanged expression and lastly to the maids who were obviously shocked, she then bent her head yo her food. Xavier noticed she wasn't eating, he carried her spoon and fetch a portion of her food bringing of close to her mouth
"Aargh" he said
This simple act was enough to send everybody in shock. Lord Xavier feeding a girl, that was out of the blues
"Don't be shy, I wouldn't want your stomach to cry once we are in the room" he said as he winked at her
"What's going on here" Mrs Decron said angrily after she had found her voice
"Feeding my woman" he said calmly
"What woman"
"Are you blind, Hazel here of course"
"This isn't happening" Dorin said with her head bent and hands on her forehead
"Yes it is"
"How can you prefer a maid over me, she's not even an elite"
"That will be resolved soon, she'll be Lady Hazel Harlow but for the main time, she's still a Ms"
"She won't become the Misus of this mansion, I'll never allow it"
"There's nothing you can do"
"There won't be peace in this mansion" she threatened
"There has never been peace and I liked it that way"
"..."
"Eat slow Hazel" he said noticing her " we have somewhere to go to later though " and she just nodded her head
"And who's this" Mrs Decron said pointing at Elliot
"This is Elliot, Hazel's cousin
Back at the time at Xavier's room, Hazel was still yet to come out for breakfast
"Come on Hazel, go our and eat" Elliot said
"I can't go without Xavier being there, who will have my back"
"I will"
"I know Elliot, but I'm not going out "
"Xavier won't like it, if you skip breakfast"
"That will make Collins bring lunch in here"
"I guess Xavier wants to introduce you to them"
"I don't want that...... yet"
"I would've good if he does so now"
"Yeah, your right, but I can imagine their faces after that"
Just then,Xavier barged in and he noticed the strange man besides Hazel, he quickly moved to her side and caught the man by his neck lifting him off the ground
"WHO. ARE. YOU?" Xavier asked
"Please Xavier, it's relles" Hazel pleaded
"Relles?"
"Yes, its his human form"

Elliot nodded his head eagerly and Xavier then let him go and he coughed severally to regain his breathe
"He's Elliot, that's his real name"
"And where's the rabbit?"
"In its cage"
"And how does he plan on staying here"
"I'll introduce him as my cousin, he can stay at the guest quarters"
"Why did he come out of the rabbit in the first place?"
"I told him to, talking to a rabbit is weird, and see, his handsome"
"Handsome?"
Hazel quickly realized what she said and then added "hehehe... not as handsome as you"
After some seconds, he dropped the case and asked instead
"Why haven't you come to the dining"
"Uhm… well… I'm not feeling hungry" and her stomach decided to deny her at the moment cause it growled loud
"I can see that" Xavier said with a smirk
"Come on, how do you expect me to face them"
"Leave that to me and let's go" he grabbed her hand and reached for the door
"What about Elliot,he should come also"
"Hmmn"
Back to the present at the dining
"When did he arrive" Mrs Decron asked
"Yesternight"
"We can't keep harbouring visitors here"
"There is only one visitor"
"No,there are two, the maid and her cousin" Xavier lost his calm and banged the table
"Never you call her a maid or visitor again. She stays here and this is her home, period."
"…" Mrs Decron
"…" Dorin
"Hazel, let's go, I'm sure you're done"
"Yes" and they left leaving Elliot with them. He could take care of himself
