Chapter 14 - Chapter 14

On the bed was the viscount, wearing only his robe with his back leaning on the board. A wide offensively disgusting grin formed on his face upon laying his eyes on Aeriel.

"I'll take my leave now, sire. If you—"

"Yes, yes, yes. Just go away already and close the door." He shooed his advisor away as he jumped out of the king-size bed.

The advisor bowed his head before going away, thus leaving the viscount and Aeriel alone in the room.

Terror clouded her head, showing it in her face, which the viscount loves to see.

"Look at you, Aeriel. Even though you are always out there in the fields, bathing under the sunlight, hands full of callouses, have little food to eat,

your beauty never fades away."

The viscount knelt on one knee, picking up her not-so-soft hand, and

began pecking on it with his ass-like lips.

"Don't touch me, you pig!"

Aeriel pulled her hand back and kicked the viscount right on his crotch.

"Owww!!!"

How quick his hands clutch on his groin after getting kicked. The

viscount's strength instantly left his body temporarily, collapsing on the

ground.

"Come back here, you fucking bitch!"

It was time for Aeriel to escape, fumbling on her way to unlock the door as she gathered herself up. Her hand reached the doorknob, twisted it open, and hastily left.

She was about three steps away from the room when she turned to look in front of her and suddenly bumped into someone. Aeriel fell on her butt after hitting the sturdy pillar-like strength of the middle-aged man's body.

"I was concerned when you suddenly gave up. Aeriel, I knew all along that you would try to escape when you're alone with Viscount Morgan."

Frantically, the viscount peeked outside his room, turning his head to both sides as he cursed under his breath.

"Damn woman, almost put an end to an entire generation! Bring her back here right this instance!"

His fierce words that sounded so piercing just showed how angry he was

at that moment.

But before the advisor could bring her back inside something fr the second-floor window came crushing the reckless and impudent Invictus.

Both his feet landed crushingly on the middle-aged man's left flank, thus sending him through the wall.

Debris flew all over the hall, alerting the viscount of the loud crash happening outside his room.

"Just what the hell?!"

Viscount Morgan saw the hole on his wall, and his expression could not be written upon assessing the damage dealt to his property.

"Who the hell do you think you are to destroy people's property?! Fucking peasant, don't you dare look at me like that!"

Invictus' bloodshot eyes locked on the viscount's gaze, shaking his

resolve. Viscount Morgan's tone became lower at the unfazed intimidating look on Invictus' face.

That was when the viscount realized he messed up. His senses were telling him to run away, or he might get killed. Therefore, grabbing the opportunity when his advisor bought him some time to escape.

"What a spectacular entrance you had just now, young man."

The middle-aged man was completely unscathed, his eyes closed and his mouth slightly arched up.

"Heh," uttered Invictus, amazed because the advisor was fine and all after receiving a heavy blow on his side. "Now that's a surprise, old man."

"The years of experience saved me. If it was not for my magic, I would be vomiting blood by now, considering how weak my body has become."

The middle-aged man got on his fighting pose with both of his fists being enhanced by magic. His physical strength had increased drastically after using his physical attribute-enhancing spell.

"I'd hate to break it to you, old man. But you're definitely breaking all of

your bones."

Invictus has no fighting stance whatsoever. He just stood there

magnificently, and turned his gaze to the shaking Aeriel.

"If you don't wanna get caught up in our fight, get away from here already."

"Y-Yes, thank you!"

"Oops. Where might you be going, old man?"

Just a light graze of Invictus' fist caused the advisor's cheek to bleed. He just put his hand out, blocking the advisor's path, which touched the skin and inflicted a tiny cut.

"For you to deal with such a clean... Quite impressive, I'd say."

This time, it was Invictus that came crashing on the wall out to the backyard. It seems that not only had the advisor's strength increased but also his speed.

"That was kinda surprising. For an old man like you, you sure have the knack to entertain my curiosity."

A few minutes after that conversation, the middle-aged man was found dead in the backyard with all his bones broken.

Invictus then proceeded to eliminate all people involved in Viscount Morgan's wrongdoings. And eventually, Aeriel came home safe, and the family head was replaced by his younger brother when Viscount Morgan was thrown into jail.

In prison, the promiscuous viscount was traumatized after dropping the bar of soap in the public bathroom. Never again had he picked a soap he drops on the floor.

Several days after the incident, Aeriel, who had lost her job, decided to look for another job. Whilst she was scouring the town for a job, Aeriel coincidentally stumbled upon Invictus, who was having a drink all by himself in a pub so early in the morning.

"Aren't you that lady who almost got molested by the former viscount?"

"Uh, that's me. Thank you again for helping me."

"I knew it. So, I am assuming that you've lost your job. How about I give

you one?"

Invictus hired Aeriel as one of their gardeners, the person that will take care of Uria's wonderful small flower field. And when more people were hired and when Uria labored, Aeriel became the baby's personal caretaker.

Aeriel gratefully spent her time looking after Austria. So when she witnessed the brutality done to Invictus' wife and daughter, a rageful side of her swam to the surface.
