Chapter 1 - Episode 1- Simplicity Morning

On an oddly rainy silent night, a kid, standing beside him, another kid. Are silently looking for a house. Walking down the creepy street, one of the kids mindlessly pays attention to her phone.

Stepping onto a sidewalk. Every step can be heard. Not paying precise attention to what's happening in the surroundings, bliss to the situation, they have no idea what is coming upon them. They continue to step over puddles. ¨Are we there yet?" Coming from the girl on her phone, ¨We will be there soon." Replying to her, they stay silent while they keep walking.

*Splash* Jumping into a puddle from boredom, the girl starts laughing while playing in it. Pushing her to stop, they get into a mild fight.

While arguing, a man, a man who does not take kindly to visitors in this town. The town of the unknowns. Appears behind them.

Still walking while talking, the two take no notice of the man. Many unknown things are found in this town, though it is scary enough for anyone to double-take wanting to be here.

Slowing down, the boy noticed the man behind them. Thinking about his next move, he reaches into his pocket. Grabbing a knife out of his pocket. He turns around to confront the man, only to find no one.

Looking over to his side, he sees the man again. Standing right beside him. Taking the knife, he stabs it towards him, stabbing right in the stomach. He keeps doing it, over and over and over.

Backing away from the dead body, he looks at the dead body. Only to see the girl. Vomiting from the look of the dead body, he begins to run and run.

Closing the book. ¨Well, it happens to say the murder happen at this school.¨ Getting up and putting the book back on a shelf.

Raising their hand, one of her students asks her a question, ¨Mrs. Baker, why is there a book about this death?¨ Shaking her head, ¨Well, Renia, the book has multiple horror stories. that happened in this small town." Hearing an ooo from her students, Mrs. Baker smiles, ¨Well, since it's Halloween... I guess I should let this class out early.¨

As all the kids pack up and leave, the bell begins to ring after 2 minutes. Finishing her grade book. The book on her shelf becomes more alluring. Walking to the bookshelf, she grabs the book. Within a couple of seconds, she disappeared.

Feeling the nice cold breeze on her face, ¨Ren, are you sure we should do this?" Walking up to an abandoned house while ignoring her friend's worries, she opens the door to the morbid house.¨ Well, ain't this pretty scary?¨ Ren says as she steps on the moldy and deprived wooden floor.

Ignoring the rising build of her friend's resentment toward her, she continues to be ¨Adventurous.¨ Still walking in the abounding horror house, one maintains a playful mood while the other is spooked. Stepping on a wood plank, it breaks under her foot.

¨Mason, can you help me for a second?" Walking to Ren, he bends down and grabs her hand. ¨ At three, we got up. 1...2...3¨ Ripping her out of the plank, her ankle comes out sore.

¨We need to get out of here quickly. I feel creeped out.¨ Mason says as he picks her up and puts her arm over his shoulder. ¨Thank you, mason. Honestly, I want to stay.¨ Looking at her like she's an idiot, ¨Alright, I don't mind leaving you here...¨ Pretending to place her down, they hear something crash in the room near them.

¨Well... you still wanna stay here?¨ Responding to his stupid remark with a punch, they make their way out of the house. Trying to open the door, but it doesn't budge.

Trying to kick the door open this time. The door still doesn't budge, and the inept feeling doesn't go away.¨ Mason, calm down. Nothing is going to happen.¨ Calming down her best friend, she tells him a few steps.

After completing the steps, he goes back to the girl. ¨Now do the last step.¨ Completing the next step, he breaks one of the wood planks to stab her. To kill her.

Slowly creeping upon them, a new wave of fear reaches the town. The town is soundly asleep. Within this soundly asleep town, a girl, a young girl. Wakes up to the sound of an alarm beeping. Picking up the alarm, she throws it off the dresser.

Sluggishly getting out of bed, she looks for her phone. ¨let's see?¨ feeling around the covers for a little while, she finally finds her phone. Checking how charged her phone is, she places it on the dresser. Yawning, she walks down the stairs from her room in the Attic and goes to the bathroom.

After freshening up in the mirror, she goes back to her room. Grabbing her backpack, phone, and other simple things for her average school day. After making sure she has her things, she wakes her mom up.

Knocking on her door. ¨ I'm up. I am up.¨ chuckling at her response. She goes into the kitchen to make herself breakfast. ¨I got about 10 more minutes?¨ muttering to herself, she opens the refrigerator door, pulls out an apple, and shuts the door back. Going to the pantry, she grabs a honeybun.

Taking a bite of the apple a few times, her little sister comes from downstairs. ¨LIA, MY HAIR!¨ sighing to herself, she goes to her sister. ¨Now, what's wrong?¨ Pulling up a chair for her sister, she grabs a hair tie. Sitting her down, ¨Nova, you're 8. You should be able to do this by yourself.¨ Tying her hair, Lia kisses her on the head. ¨I would do it myself, but my fantastic sister is here.¨Jumping onto her, Lia hugs back.

¨Lia, you're ready?¨ Hearing her mom, Lia hugs her little sister one more time, then goes toward the car.

Getting in the car, they drive out of their parking lot. Riding down the street, Lia puts down her window. "Hey, what did you do at school yesterday?" fiddling with her phone while her mom asks her questions, "Well, it was a normal day, though not you'd know." Ticked off by her daughter's reply, she stays silent for nearly the rest of the ride.

Rolling down on the carless street road.

They start to make their way to the main road. Making a turn, they come to a stop, "Thanks for stopping." Getting out of the car, Lia walks up to a boy who is standing there sad. "Santoy, want a ride?" Looking at the black girl smiling at him. He replies with a shrug.

Entering the car, Lia goes back into the passenger seat. While Santoy sits in the back.

"Hello, Santoy; how are you this morning?" Pulling out his phone, he responds pretty meekly. "I'm doing quite well, Mrs. Mason, could be way better if I made it to the bus on time, haha..." "Well, I hope you know you can always ask for a ride." After Mrs. Mason responds to him, they stay silent for the rest of the ride.

"We are here, have a nice day at school." Both respond with a sarcastic response, and they go inside the building.

"Honestly, Aliar, you and your mom need a better relationship." Laughing at his response, "Well, you need a better time working on your paranormal investigation club." "So funny." Looking at him confusedly, "What's so funny? I'm being so for real." Responds Lia with a confounding voice, "Honestly, I would help you. If ghosts and other supernatural abilities were real... but they are not."
