*One eternity of solving puzzles and nearly losing my mind later*
I walked through a hallway, seeing a corner. One led down to a house, and I couldn't see where the other one went.
I decided to go down the mystery path. Why the heck not? I liked the thrill of possibly dying because I went down the wrong path. My tombstone would be: Frisk, died because she was too adventurous.
As I turned the corner, my breath caught. "Oh my..." Out on the ledge, I saw a huge city. It was illuminated by the glowing rocks on the ceiling of the cave the underground was made in. I took a step forward, when something flashed in my eye. I looked over to see a knife. A toy knife. Huh. I couldn't help but wonder what it was doing here as I picked it up. Oooh, maybe I could cut it in half and glue the blade part on the front of my shirt and the handle on the back to make it look like I was just stabbed! I can go up to Skyler and say "Would you look at that. I've been impaled." Just like Oluf did in Freezing.
I took one more look at the view, before turning back. I turned to the other path with the house. I saw a huge tree. Leaves were at the bottom. I watched as another leaf grew, falling to the ground immediately. Poor tree. I kinda felt bad for it, trees need their leaves.
"Oh, child." I froze as Toriel came around the tree. Crap. She knew. "I apologize for being gone for so long, I had some errors to run."
"Oh, it's.. um, okay." I said. She must have forgotten about telling me to stay in the room. "Is Skyler okay?"
Toriel nodded. "Yes, your sister is well, although she is still sleeping."
I let out a breath of relief. Skyler was okay. "Come now. I have a surprise for you." Toriel said. I nodded, still thinking about Skyler. Toriel lead me up the path, into the house. As she led me in, I smelled some kind of pie. The inside of the house was a classic cream color. There was a staircase that lead down, and two paths going left and right. Toriel walked me down the hallway on the right, the cream walls turning more orange. There were 3 doors down the hallway, a mirror and water sausages decorating it. She stopped in front of the third door. "This is your new room, child." She said. "I've placed in an extra bed for Skyler."
She sniffed. "Is something burning...? I'll be back, my child." She walked out of the hallway to the other, disappearing.
"Okaaaaaayy...." I said, watching her leave. I walked into the room, and was hit with a wave of RED. Why was everything red? I mean, red is my favorite color, but this was a little excessive. And I saw Skyler, sleeping in a sleeping bag at the left side of the room. Across was another bed, also red. Why was everything red?
I sat down on the other bed... Woah. You know that moment when you finally relax after a long day, and then realize how exhausted you are?
Okay, maybe a nap wouldn't hurt. I thought, laying down. I began to think about the day, running it through my head. Woke up, went exploring, fell down, got attacked, got saved, did puzzles, saw great view.... my hand felt the toy knife in my pocket. Why was it there? Who left it there? I felt kinda bad for just taking it, but it looked abandoned. And... something drew me to it. Like a moth to a flame. I sighed, rolling over and pulling the blankets over me.
Today was a crazy day.
