3rd person Pov:
He slowly opened his eyes and felt a splitting headache. He got accustomed to it after some time and started registering his surroundings. He soon realized that he was tied to a chair and no matter how hard he tried, he could not free himself. That was weird as he was a B-class awakened. Not being able to free himself from a rope was worrisome for him.
"Give up. Your mana channels are blocked. You can't use your strength or do anything. In other words, you are a normal person right now." He turned his head in the direction of the voice and saw a boy of barely eight sitting on his chair and a heavenly beautiful woman standing behind him. He also saw his attendant tied in a similar manner to him.
But that was not what worried him. What caused him to panic the most were the words of the boy. His mana channels were blocked. He would have called it a stupid thing had that not happened to him. He felt as if he had become a normal person.
"Don't worry though. I will turn everything back to normal when we are done here." The boy said again which calmed him down somewhat, but he was still restless. The boy stood up and got to the main agenda. "Baron Arkinson Dowan. A B-class awakened. Your father, Rewan Dowan was appointed as the baron of this territory because of his merits in the war of fifty-nine years ago and you inherited it from him. Of course, you killed him and your brother who was the rightful inheritor to get it, but I'm not here to discuss the past."
Dowan panicked a lot when he heard the boy account his past deeds but kept his fears to himself. He was gagged and could not speak right now so all he could do right now was listen to the boy. The boy seeing that he was ready for the next part continued, "You are associated with Duke Heraiz for the past nine years. You have carried out many tasks for him. Illegal or legal, but it is not wrong to say that you are a devout ally of him."
"Now, why I am here? It's precisely because of this reason. I am here to change your mind about you continuing to be his ally. Of course, that would mean that you would hand over all the evidence of his misdeeds that you have with you to me. Now don't lie to me about not having any just like how I lied about you being his devout ally. We all know you are not like that."
"Your next concern about your safety after this. To be honest, I don't care what happens to you. You are not a loyal person, and I don't trust you with anything. I would not care in the least if something were to happen to you but since I need you, we will do something about that too."
"Now last but not least, I have planted some runes on you. These runes allow me to hear and see what you are seeing and no you don't have to worry about me watching your wife naked through your eyes. I am a person who respects others' privacy and not to mention your wife is not that beautiful as well." When the boy said this, Dowan now clearly thought that the boy was trying to scare him. Runes could not be planted in people and that was common knowledge. This was nothing more than a way to scare him and if he gets through this by being obedient, he will get to the bottom of this matter.
"One of the runes also allows me to hurt you no matter where you are. Just like this." Sensing the thoughts of Dowan, the boy next said this. He started feeling pain after this and the pain kept rising with each passing second and got to the point where he felt it was unbearable. After some agonizing moments, the pain stopped and the boy continued, "Now you know that I am not messing around with you."
The boy started walking in his direction while continuing to say, "The third rune allows me to damage you internally. Would you like me to show you?" Dowan hurriedly shook his head at his question. Now he knew that the boy was not lying. The boy seeing that he was not doubting his words anymore said, "Good boy. Now the fourth rune allows me to blow you up. Here is a demo."
Saying that the boy turned to look at his attendant, prompting him to do the same. The boy said, "Your attendant and butler have been with you for many years. He has done many nefarious things at your orders. And some acts have been committed by him as well. Let's count. R*ape, murder, extortion, etc. The list goes on. Now he will be punished. But unlike you, he is lucky enough to die so soon. But it will be painful, nonetheless. Boom."
When he said that, his attendant started turning red slowly and soon he started expanding like a balloon and after some time, he went all tatters. His bits and pieces painted the whole room, and the baron was not an exception. The boy and the woman had protected themselves using mana.
Now the baron was terrified. Whomever this boy was, he was dangerous. While in his fear, the boy came closer to him and said, "The last rune allows me to extract mana from you. And these runes use my mana as well. Do you understand what I am trying to say here?" The boy grinned while having an amused expression as if he was having fun at the fear of the baron. He could not believe how such a small boy was capable of this expression and doing such things unphased.
The boy continued with an amused voice, "This means that you yourself will be supplying mana for your torture." The boy confirmed the baron's fear. His expression became even more amused and said, "I will make sure you feel pain every day. Whenever I feel you are comfortable, I will hurt you. When you are eating, when you are shitting, when you are sleeping, or when you are making love to your wife. You will feel it every time."
The boy, who was looking like the incarnation of the devil to the baron, smiled even more and said, "I have judged your punishment to be pain and suffering, every day."
