It took me two years to learn only the basic knowledge about the basic structures of runes. It might have been faster if I had some help from the professionals in the field, but I guess there is no helping it. Another problem is that I did not actually figure out how to construct a rune. I know the basic structure but no matter how hard I try, I cannot construct it. Whenever I try to do so, this message shows up.

What 'yes or no'? There is only a 'no'. I don't have that many skill points. So, I endured and did what I could and learned everything that I could about runes and finally today, the message from earlier showed up.

[Rune mastery: Basic
An intricate and complex combination of magic circles forms a circuit known as a Rune. You have completely learned the basics of rune mastery and are now capable of drawing up to two circuits combined or separately. Some types of runes require the user's mana to maintain for a longer period of time.
Cost: 100 mana for each complete circuit
Limitations:
#1: Only the following circuits can be formed at your current level comprised of 3 magic circles each.
#2: You can only cast runes once on a target. You cannot cast two runes of the same type on the same individual.
#3: Runes once cast can only be removed by the Host or upon the target's death
Runes available:
#1: Basic Strengthening rune (Permanent increase in strength by 10 percent)
#2: Basic Agility rune (Permanent increase in agility by 8 percent)
#3: Basic Stamina\Endurance rune (Permanent increase by 13 percent)
#4: Basic mana rune (Permanent increase in mana by 10 percent)

What the hell! Are you telling me these are just basic runes? Then what about intermediate or advanced-level runes? There are some limitations but the advantages are too much for me to worry about the limitations. There are some points that I don't understand though. A limit is that only I can remove the rune or death of the individual. But for the last four runes, it requires mana to maintain them. Does it mean that if sufficient mana is not supplied, the runes will just stop working, or will they vanish?
Since there is no answer from the system, I will go with the more optimistic assumption but I cannot tell. Now the other problem is that I do not have enough mana. Do I increase the mana or not? I also have the item from Blake which helps in mana recovery so I guess it is finally time to use it. Natural recovery of mana is not slow, but it is still good to be on the safe side. What I should do right now is increase my mana pool. My mana increases by twenty with an increase in Int stat by 5. I currently have thirty-three spare stat points but I need them for luck stat.
Yes, I have decided to increase my luck stat. Universal laws have already started to limit me. One such good example is the limit of not being able to increase my physical stat through normal means anymore. So what I need is insane luck. If the laws are going to screw me, I will also screw them in return. So the problem of mana still stays. I will worry about it later. For now, the Mana rune can help in this problem for a while so I will start by casting the mana rune on me first.
Making up my mind I stopped moving my hand and removed it. The black-haired beauty in my lap turned her head in my direction and asked with no expression on her face but with a quivering voice, "Are you done with my breasts young master?" No matter how hard I try, that monotone expression won't change, but after 2 years, her voice has started showing her emotions. And her eyes show yearning for my touch almost all the time.
