1st person Pov:
Lately, nowadays my life has been very good. I am spending time with Rose, and I have to say, that time is well spent. But there is another problem. Sylvia is following me whenever she is not training with Carla. It got to the point that she almost caught me and Rose while enjoying our time together. So today I confronted her and checked her foresight in the guise of spending time with her.

Foresight: There is definitely something going on between Rose and Michael. She is acting suspiciously. She is surely doing something to Michael. I have to help him.]
I am happy that you are worried about me, but you are misunderstanding everything. But I can't clear that up so I will just do what I can to placate her by spending some time with her. Her level has raised though. It is higher than mine, but I can say that my stats are higher than hers. Her attributes changed as well. She is no longer untrusting and wary of others. Or maybe those attributes are just for me.
Anyways, things between us were going very well but suddenly from somewhere Rose appeared. Now I am not an idiot who does not understand what is going on between these girls. I am the cause of that. But there is nothing that I can do about it. Even a blind person can tell that both these girls like me. but the problem is that there is only one of me. The other reason is that Sylvia is not on par with Rose so I cannot do some things with her that I can do with Rose. That is also my fault as I let my male instincts take over and end up spending more time with Rose than Sylvia.
Currently, I am sitting between these two girls and there is a heated conversation that regards me but my involvement in the matter would only worsen it so I, like a sensible person, am keeping my mouth clamped shut.
Sylvia: "Don't you think that you are hogging Michael all to yourself? And in private at that? Are you doing something to him that you cannot let others know about?"
Rose: "Hmm… I wonder what I would be doing to him. Why don't you tell me what you think is going on between me and him?
Sylvia blushed a bit. I'm guessing she is thinking of different scenarios, but it seems she is too bashful to state them. Rose giggled seeing her acting like that and said, "Well, you don't have to try so hard. You are only a little girl in so many ways." Rose said the last part while sticking out her chest. Even though it was not so big as compared to other women in the house but when it came to Sylvia, it was somewhat of a fatal blow.
Sylvia turned red from anger, and she used the age card, "Well it may be fun now, but when Michael grows up, you would be nothing but an old woman for him." This remark was not effective much because She had overlooked a major point in her haste. And Rose exploited it well, "Don't worry. There are spells to keep a younger appearance. After all, there are spells for everything."
Sylvia: "There are many things spells can't do."
Rose: "But spells can do everything needed in a healthy relationship."
Sylvia: "You can't have him all day to yourself. It's not fair"
Rose: "I will be returning to the academy in a few days, but you will be here for a long time after that. Is it really that unfair to you?"
Sylvia didn't say anything. Rose was right. I and Sylvia spend a lot of time together. Only training and sleeping are done separately. Seeing that there was no comeback, Rose continued, "Besides, it is not like I am trying to keep Michael all to myself. I can never become Michael's first wife, and neither can you. We both know that. So, I am only trying to be with the boy that I like while I can. I am more than willing to share him with you or ten more girls. All I ask for is when I am here, he is at least spending some time with me."
Ten More!!?? Seriously? Not that I mind but is it really that bad not being the first wife? Sylvia contemplated her words and after a long silence, she sighed and said, "Fine. We can do that. But you should let me spend some time of the day with him as well. You even sleep with him."
Rose giggled and said, "Oh my, you can sleep with us as well. but beware, you might not be able to do what I can." Sylvia's face turned completely red, and she turned to me and said with a puffed face, "Michael, do what you do with Rose with me as well."
Are you serious? "I can't do that with you, Sylvia. You will have to wait until you properly grow. No, wait a minute. That is not the problem here. Why are you both deciding everything on your own and not even asking me for my consent." I said after realizing the crux of the issue. Not once did they ask whether I was okay with it or not.
Rose looked at me and said while acting hurt, "Oh my, are you saying that you will play with my body but won't marry me?" I never said that. and what is with that expression and with is with those teary eyes? Before I could reply Sylvia said, "Are you saying that you do not like me even after spending all that time with me? Do you not like me, Michael? Am I not beautiful?" This is not the issue here.
"Hah… of course not. What idiot would refuse two beautiful girls? No one. What I am asking is, is it really that bad not being the first wife? You two seem like you have given up on everything else and will be satisfied if I just spend some time with you." I said what I had on my mind. I honestly did not like how Rose looked when she said she can never be my first wife.
"Of course, it is. Concubines have no freedom, no value at all. They are breeding machines. A concubine is only good if she can give birth to a talented offspring. Even the Children of concubines are not treated well. If they are not much talented, they are used as attendants and if they are talented in some fields, then they are used as political tools. A good example is your fiancé, Sierra. She is the daughter of the second wife. Her father is trying to use her to tie himself to the royal family. Even now, he is trying really hard to break Sierra's engagement with you." Rose explained with an example.
Haaahh... Noble life sure is fucked up. But I don't like it. Just because I am in this world, does not mean I have to live like that too. "Well, good thing that I won't become a shallow man then. But tell me one thing before this, why would you still want to be even knowing this treatment would be awaiting you?" I could not help and asked the question that was on my mind to both girls.
Both Rose and Sylvia looked at each other and smiled and said, "Because we have come to love you and we know that you will never treat us in such a manner." Their smiles were beautiful. Yeah, I really don't have to live the way this world wants me to. "I will definitely meet your expectations no matter what," I said. Both the girls smiled even more and kissed me on my cheeks at the same time and said together, "We know."
