7:45 am
That boy from church, I don't know his name but all I knew is that he made me feel some kinda way and made my brother upset because he was close to his ex Aiden. The entire time today on our way to school he was ranting about Aiden's new best friend while I was hoping to see that boy again even though I've seen him multiple times at school but now it's like he's the only boy in the school.
"Are you even listening?" the voice of my frustrated brother snapped me back to real life. The car was at a halt and Barry was staring at me. "Have a great day kids." he smile at us. Scott got out not saying anything back so I did. "Bye dad." I hugged him before getting out as well.
Scott was practically running ahead of me at this point and I dumbass ran after him before eventually tripping on the curb. I prepared for the fall with closed eyes but felt cold hands around my waist. I open my eyes with my breath hitched realizing I'm looking at the green grass on the sidewalk but I don't fall.
"You should watch your step next time." a familiar voice spoke and I turn my head to see that boy. He was wearing reading glasses this time and damn he was one good looking nerd. "Thank you." I say breathlessly like I ran a mile. He smiles and pulls me up so I was now foot to foot and face to face with him.
"No problem, didn't want you to ruin that pretty face." I hid a blushing smile clutched my backpack still standing there like we don't have 1st period. "Myra!!" I gasp silently and gave him a forced smile before turning and rushing towards my brother is for sure furious.
"My name's Sebastian by the way!!" he shouts right before I got far. I didn't have time to stop and look so I gave him a thumbs up. "Why are you talking to him?" Scott asked as I caught up with him. I look at him with a glare. "Because he just saved me the embarrassment." he rolls his eyes and we got to our separate class. I had science with Liam and Ruth.
Janet
8:56 am
The fatigue from a sleepless night weighed heavily on me as I woke up for work. The mysterious disappearance of Quinn loomed over my thoughts, creating a cloud of unease. As I entered the kitchen, Simon's presence caught my eye.
"Janet," he called out, a seriousness in his gaze. "We're heading to Area 51 with Nicholas and Robyn the psychic. The traces indicate a connection between Quinn's capture and the involvement of governmental and CIA energies."
My heart skipped a beat. "Be careful, Simon. We're treading into unknown territory. The forces involved are formidable."
Simon nodded, acknowledging the risks. "We'll proceed with caution. The Holy Order can't ignore the possible repercussions of this intervention. We need to understand the motives behind Quinn's capture."
As he spoke, the weight of responsibility settled on my shoulders. The world held secrets that demanded careful navigation. "Just promise me you'll stay safe," I implored, my concern evident.
Simon offered a reassuring smile. "We'll do our best. Keep an eye on things here. We'll update you as soon as we have more information."
With that, Simon left for the mission, leaving me with a mix of emotions. The challenges that lay ahead were daunting, and the threads of the supernatural tapestry seemed to unravel with each passing moment.
An hour later I was ready to leave for work and decided to take my puppy, Shadow, to a pet-sitting place owned by Charles who is Justin's cousin from England but decided to live here full time.
Shadow wagged his tail in excitement as we entered the establishment, the playful energy of other animals creating a lively atmosphere.
Charles greeted me with a warm smile. "Janet! Good to see you. Shadow seems ready for some fun."
I chuckled, watching Shadow explore the pet-sitting area. "Thanks, Oliver. I appreciate you taking care of him. It's been a hectic day."
Charles nodded. "No worries. Pets bring a sense of calm in the chaos. You take care, and don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything."
As I left Shadow in Charles' capable hands, I couldn't help but hope that the simplicity of the pet world contrasted with the complexities of the supernatural one would bring a momentary reprieve.
Sebastian
5:34 pm
The rest of the school day went by in a blur, my mind still tangled with thoughts of Myra. I couldn't deny the fluttering feeling in my stomach whenever she was around. As the final bell rang, signaling the end of classes, I hurriedly gathered my belongings, ready to face the challenges beyond the school walls.
I lingered in the hallway, a warm smile on my face as i approached her. "Hey, Myra. How was the rest of your day?"
She returned my smile. "Not bad. Thanks again for saving me from a potential fall this morning."
I chuckled. "No problem. I'm glad I could be there. Listen, if you ever need someone to talk to or if things get overwhelming, I'm here for you."
My words held a sincerity that resonated with her, and she nodded. "I appreciate that, Sebastian. It means a lot."
I smile uncontrollably as we stood there in silence until the awkward situation popped up in my head to apologize for. "Um about the weird thing I did yesterday I hope you don't see me as a Jeffrey Dahmer kinda guy."
She blushes and hides her face. "Not gonna lie, I kinda I liked it." That made me feel relieved but also still wrong. I know she's only saying this because she was low key hypnotized in that particular moment until I broke eye contact and she ran out of the bathroom.
"Well I don't feel like shit anymore, thanks for the feedback." We both laugh softly until her brother comes between us. "come on Myra." He says sternly while glaring at me.
What did I do to him?
As we parted ways, heading in different directions to our respective homes, I bump in Aiden and this brown haired girl. "There you are." He greeted me with a hug.
We didn't see one another much today except for at lunch because for some reason we had extra work. "We didn't see each other allot today because of extra work and what's up with that?"
The girl giggled. "You're kidding right? It's obvious that we're being prepared for a pop quiz any day now." What's a pop quiz? As much as I've been in schools for decades, they've never mentioned that.
"You know, if you need a study buddy I got you." The girl said twirling her hair. I gave her a small smile before looking at Aiden.
"So, what did you want to see me about?" I asked and he scratched his head. "Mm yes, I wanted to introduce you to one of my other best friends that is a girl. Whitney." He introduced and Whitney spun around. "Love DC comics." She blurts out and Aiden rolls his eyes. I chuckle because I knew what she was doing. I've seen it way too many in the past so I challenged her.
"Oh really, alright then who's your favorite superhero?" I crossed my arms and arch a brow. I could see her warm skin turn pink. "Um..... Green Arrow."
I gasp looking over at Aiden who was holding in a laugh. "My little brother reads them all the time. He even has an marvel one but prefer the DC one."
"Okay, sebby. Whit and I are going to my house to study for this upcoming pop quiz, so I'll catch you later," Aiden said, and they both walked away.
I stood there, a bit amused by the encounter. It seemed Aiden had a knack for making friends, and Whitney appeared to be a quirky addition to his circle. I decided to head home, contemplating the events of the day.
The sun dipped below the horizon as I approached my house, the fading light casting long shadows across the suburban landscape. As I entered the living room, Lucius and Haitia, my supernatural companions, were engaged in a spirited conversation.
"Sebastian, my bro, you're just in time," Lucius exclaimed, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "Haitia and I were discussing the intricacies of human courtship. Fascinating, really."
Haitia, ever the more reserved one, nodded in agreement. "It's an essential aspect of their existence, full of complexities and nuances. I find it intriguing."
I chuckled, taking a seat. "Courtship, huh? Anything specific on your minds?"
Lucius leaned back, a sly smile playing on his lips. "Oh, just observing the mating rituals of mortals. Aiden seems to have introduced a new player into the mix."
Haitia clarified, "Whitney, I presume. The dynamics of human friendships and relationships are quite diverse."
I rolled my eyes. "Guys, it's not like that. Aiden and I are just friends, and Whitney is, well, Whitney."
Lucius arched an eyebrow. "Just friends? My dear Sebastian, your emotions betray a different tale. You're smitten, aren't you?"

Quinn
6:12 pm
My eyes fluttered open, and he found himself in a dimly lit room. The air felt heavy, and i remembered I was restrained, unable to move. Realization and fear settled in as i took in my surroundings.
Suddenly, a familiar figure appeared before me. It was Gary, Janet's uncle who had met a gruesome fate. My heart sank at the sight, but Gary wore a solemn expression. "Quinn, you need to break the curse," he urged, his voice echoing in the dreamlike haze.
"There isn't a cure. How?" I questioned, but Gary's eyes were intense, filled with urgency. "The werewolf curse. It's ancient, and it's consuming you. You have to find a way to break it before it's too late."
As i processed the information, the strange encounter took a dark turn. A tall eerie figure emerged from the shadows in a hellish demon form.
It roared with an otherworldly sound that sent chills down my spine. It snatched Gary away, dragging him into the darkness with a ferocious strength.
"No, stop!" I pleaded, struggling against the restraints. It roars again.
In a sudden jolt, i snapped awake. Beads of sweat covered my forehead, and gasped for breath. The room around me was stark, and the reality of the restraints hit me.
Justin
7:52 pm
I couldn't shake off the mysterious information I received from my aunt Liz, and I felt a growing need to confront my mother about the hidden family secrets. That evening i decided to have a serious conversation with my mother.
As we sat in the living room, i took a deep breath and said, "Mom, I need you to be honest with me. I know there's something you're not telling me about Aunt Liz and our family."
My mother, sensing the seriousness in my tone, looked at me with concern. "Justin, honey, I've told you everything I know. Liz is missing, and it's a difficult time for all of us. There's nothing more to it."
I persisted, "I can't shake off this feeling that there's more to the story. Aunt Liz spoke to me in my mind, and she mentioned our family's connection to witchcraft. What is she talking about?
My mother's eyes widened slightly, and she tried to maintain composure. "Justin, there are things you're not meant to know. It's for your own safety. Some family history is better left buried."
Frustrated, i leaned forward, "Mom, I need to know the truth. Aunt Liz spoke about a curse, werewolves, and our family's ties to witchcraft. What is going on?"
She sighed, realizing she couldn't keep the truth hidden any longer. "Alright, Justin. There are things I haven't told you. Liz was right. Our family does have a history with supernatural powers. We come from a long line of witches. It's a gift, but also a burden."
My eyes widened, absorbing this revelation. "So it is true?"
She nodded, "Yes, but it's not the fairy-tale kind of magic. It's a powerful force that comes with responsibilities and consequences. Your aunt Liz, she dabbled in things she shouldn't have. That curse she mentioned is real, and it's affected our family for generations."
I felt a mix of shock and curiosity. "What about me? Do I have these powers too."
She hesitated for a moment before confessing, "Yes, Justin. You do. When you were a kid, I noticed something unusual. You had this ability to project your consciousness, astral projection, they call it. It's a rare gift among our kind."
I was taken aback, "Astral projection? Why didn't you tell me about this before?"
She sighed, "I wanted to protect you. The supernatural forces at play."
I was armed with newfound knowledge about my family's supernatural legacy, grappled with the responsibility that came with his abilities. The desire to help Aunt Liz and uncover the secrets of our family's past led me on a path fraught with dangers and revelations.
Whitney
8:02 pm
The soft glow of the study lamp illuminated the room, casting a warm ambiance over the textbooks and notes scattered across Aiden's desk. We were engrossed in our study session, tackling the intricacies of calculus for the impending pop quiz. Aiden's focused expression mirrored my determination, but my thoughts were about to take an unexpected turn.
As we delved into the complexities of mathematical equations, my mind started to drift. Sebastian's face, with his charming smile and nerdy glasses, flashed into my thoughts. The memory of our brief encounter echoed in my mind, and a strange warmth spread through me."Whitney, are you following this?"
Aiden's voice interrupted my thoughts, pulling me back to the world of derivatives and integrals."Yeah, yeah, totally," I replied, trying to refocus on the study material. But Sebastian's image lingered, refusing to be pushed aside.I sighed inwardly, a twinge of jealousy sparking within me. Why was I even thinking about him? Aiden was my best friend, and we were supposed to be studying together. I shook my head, attempting to shake off the distracting thoughts.
In an effort to redirect my attention, I glanced at Aiden. His brow furrowed in concentration, he was completely immersed in solving a particularly challenging problem. I admired his dedication and loyalty, a stark contrast to the distracting thoughts of Sebastian.
However, my jealousy took an unexpected turn as my mind wandered further. Sebastian had been talking a girl named Myra. The memories of her pricked at my nerves. I had seen them talking, sharing laughter at school. Myra, with her braided hair and vibrant energy, seemed to be a constant presence in Sebastian's life.
A surge of irrational jealousy gripped me, and I found myself comparing the vibrant image of Myra to my own presence. I clenched my jaw, trying to dispel the jealousy that threatened to consume me. Why did he have to be interested in her? Were they more than just friends?
"Whitney, are you sure you're okay? You seem a bit off," Aiden's concerned voice interrupted my tumultuous thoughts.I forced a smile, attempting to hide the storm within. "Yeah, just a bit tired. Let's get back to studying."
As we delved back into the calculus problems, I couldn't shake the unsettling feeling that jealousy had unleashed its grip, leaving me entangled in a web of emotions I hadn't anticipated. The complexities of human relationships intertwined with the supernatural forces at play, creating a tapestry of emotions that threatened to unravel in unexpected ways.
Simon
11:34 pm
The desert expanse stretched endlessly before us as the car rattled along the rugged terrain. The air was thick with tension, a palpable sense of anticipation as Nicholas, Robyn and I approached the infamous Area 51. The moon hung high in the night sky, casting an eerie glow over the secretive facility.
Nicholas, his steely gaze focused on the road, broke the silence. "We're getting close. Robyn, any new information from your visions?"
Robyn, her eyes closed, concentrated on her psychic connection. "The energy here is intense. Powerful wards and mystical barriers guard this place. We need to be cautious."As we neared the perimeter, the hum of the engine was soon drowned out by the distant echoes of military personnel. We parked the car a safe distance away, opting for a stealthy approach on foot. Clad in dark attire, we ventured into the darkness, the vastness of the Nevada desert surrounding us.
A tense silence enveloped our trio as we approached the razor-wired fence that marked the edge of Area 51. We exchanged glances, each acknowledging the gravity of our mission. Nicholas, his expression resolute, took the lead, maneuvering through the shadows with the grace of a seasoned operative.
The sudden glare of spotlights caught us off guard as soldiers emerged from the darkness, assault rifles raised. A stern voice echoed through the night. "Halt! Identify yourselves!"
Nicholas raised his hands in a show of compliance. "We're here on official business. The Holy Order demands answers."
The soldiers, unfazed, surrounded us. It was clear they wouldn't let us proceed without a confrontation. Robyn, ever resourceful, locked eyes with me. "Simon, distract them. I'll take care of the rest."
I nodded, stepping forward to engage the soldiers in conversation. Robyn moved swiftly, her lithe form weaving through the darkness. In a daring maneuver, she disarmed one of the soldiers and seized a tranquilizing gun.
As I engaged the soldiers in a conversation about supposed government secrecy, Robyn took decisive action. With the precision of a skilled infiltrator, she fired the tranquilizer dart, subduing the 3 soldiers one by one. The surprise attack left them incapacitated, sprawled on the desert floor.
Nicholas, his admiration evident, approached robyn. "Impressive. We need to move quickly before reinforcements arrive." Robyn smirked, her eyes gleaming with satisfaction. "I always keep a few tricks up my sleeve."
We stripped the unconscious soldiers of their uniforms, donning them as disguises. Robyn swiftly collected key cards, ensuring our entry into the heart of Area 51. As we moved through the shadows, the facility loomed ahead, its secrets waiting to be unraveled. The desert winds whispered tales of conspiracy, and our trio pressed forward, determined to uncover the mysteries hidden within the clandestine walls of Area 51.
~~~~~~
As we infiltrated the corridors of Area 51 in our stolen military disguises, the oppressive atmosphere of the secretive facility weighed heavily on us. The low hum of fluorescent lights and the echo of our footsteps added to the surreal ambiance. Robyn, still carrying the tranquilizing gun, maintained her vigilant stance.
Nicholas led the way, studying the layout of the facility with a keen eye. The key cards we had acquired opened secure doors, granting us access to deeper, more classified areas. The search for Quinn intensified, our mission fueled by urgency.
The metallic clang of a distant door echoed through the corridor as we navigated the labyrinthine complex. As we turned a corner, we stumbled upon a room guarded by armed personnel. The muffled sounds of distressed groans emanated from within, and a familiar energy pulsed through the air.
Nicholas, his eyes narrowing, signaled for us to halt. Through the small window on the door, we glimpsed Quinn, restrained and unconscious. The sight fueled a surge of determination within us.
Robyn whispered, "Quinn's aura is weak. We need to act swiftly."
Nicholas, his expression unyielding, addressed me. "Simon, create a diversion. We'll handle the guards."
I nodded, ready to utilize my abilities to distract and confuse. As I began manipulating the shadows in the corridor, Robyn and Nicholas swiftly incapacitated the guards with calculated strikes. The element of surprise worked in our favor.
With the guards neutralized, Nicholas expertly used the key card to unlock the door. We rushed into the dimly lit room, finding Quinn restrained to a metal table. The room's cold, sterile atmosphere contrasted with the warmth of relief that washed over us
Quinn stirred, his eyes fluttering open. Confusion and gratitude flickered in his gaze. "Simon? Nicholas?"
Nicholas, a reassuring smile on his face, began working to release Quinn from his restraints. "We're here to get you out. We don't have much time."
As Quinn was freed, Robyn checked him for any signs of distress. "The curse, it's still affecting him. We need to find a way to break it
"Quinn, now standing with our support, expressed his gratitude. "Thank you, all of you. I don't know how I ended up here, but we need to uncover the truth behind this curse."
Nicholas, his gaze focused on the task at hand, addressed us. "Let's make our way out of here. We'll figure out the details once we're safe."
With Quinn rescued, our trio retraced our steps, avoiding security cameras and patrols as we made our way back through the labyrinthine facility. The secrets of Area 51 were left behind, but the mysteries surrounding the curse and the supernatural forces at play remained.
