Only Raven's voice could be heard over the silence. The youngsters were all staring at him, listening to what he would say. "I created this assessment so I could select a team that will compete in the forthcoming Freshmen Battle Royal."
"There will be a semester assessment after this, so if you wish to prepare for that examination, you can back out in this assessment." Raven then stops speaking and stares the youngsters in the eyes, leading them to think, if they would like to continue with this kind of assessment.
The students looked at each other with caution in their eyes. Who doesn't want to be a part of the next Freshmen Battle Royale? It is an event that will affect the lives of all students since the winner will be known at the academy and he or she will be a student that the academy will foster.
In this event, all geniuses of all classes have the opportunity to join in this battle. The conditions of this event are reliant on the Professor himself; he must register his class with the academy's authorities in order for them to take part in the event. So, their eyes and ears focus on Raven so that they will not mishear some information from him.
The institution is so huge that the number of freshmen professors exceeds 150. So, the students were taken aback by Raven's decision to join in the Battle Royale despite the fact that he was only a new teacher at this academy. Also, the prizes for winning this tournament are enormous.
Hearing Raven's explanation, all of the kids' eyes narrow as they realize they can create their own legend in this event. Then, one of his students raises his hand and asks, "Sir, how do you select contestants? Is there a criterion or what is required to join your team?"
Another student stated, "I heard that some professors already form their teams before the beginning of the semester; is it permissible to sign up late?"
"Sir, how many students will be able to join your team?"
Raven was flooded with questions from all of his students as he stood calmly in front of them
"Let me speak first."
"I know you all have many questions, but first pass my evaluation; you'll have two options: either undergo a dragon leap in the dragon gate to become a new person, or stay consistent in your growth; the academy will not abuse you."
They fell silent at Raven's word. Some of the Youngers tighten their fists, realizing that this is a huge chance for them. There are hundreds of freshmen enrolled at the academy, and they are all geniuses from all over the world. As a result, it is difficult to be picked to compete in this tournament, and the audience for these events consists of bigshots from all over the world.
"This test will get more difficult in the following stage, and the outcome of your semester examination will be affected, so if there is someone who wants to back down.You may make up your mind now so that you don't regret it later." Raven remarked. Then he glances at the kids, who were busy conversing with one another while deciding what to do.
"So, no one wants to withdraw?"
"Good," Raven says, nodding and looking at the youngsters' reactions.
"In an hour, prepare yourself." We'll move," he says, before summoning Ricardo and leaving the kids in their own world.
After Raven left,
Reince is making small talk with Ismund, who is dazedly looking at Leonora, who is chuckling with Enra.
"Hey, Ismund, don't you think this is a tremendous opportunity for us?" "If we win in the battle royale, my father will be proud of me," Reince remarked, his hand on Ismund's shoulder. Then he saw that Ismund wasn't paying attention to him. So he follows Ismund's gaze. As a result, he saw that he was looking at the princess yet again. Reince smiled wickedly at his buddy before walking to the front of the Princess with confidence.
"Hello, Princess Leonora," Reince remarked as he softly bowed his head in greeting the princess. In response, Leonora bows her head, while his two hands slightly grasp his dress as he greets him, "Hello, Mr. Cross, "Is there a problem?"
"I simply wanted to express that you look great today."
"Thank you!"
"By the way, Princess, how do you feel about Mr. Ashford participating in the battle royale?"
"Hey, Reince! What are you doing?" But Ismund cuts her off before she can respond.
"Don't be a jerk, we were conversing with the Princess." Then Reince apologized,
"I'm sorry for my friend, Princess."
"It's all right, I know Mr. Kudrit didn't mean it."
"You….!" Ismund blushes in embarrassment. Reince then teased Ismund while also placing his arm on his shoulder. Following that, the group converses amicably.
In the meantime, Leo, who had been unconscious, is slowly awakened. "Ugh! Where am I?" he wondered, hiding his eyes with the back of his hand. When he completely opened his eyes, he saw a magical machine that displayed recorded videos of what transpired during the assessment. Then, he heard a voice say to him, "So, you awakened." After that, he follows the speaker till he comes upon Raven, who is calmly savoring his tea.
He immediately stood up and greeted him warmly.
"Do you want to sit down and have a drink?"
Leo sat uneasily on the other side of the table after accepting Raven's offer. Raven then stares at Leo, rendering him sluggish as their gazes collide.
When Leo looks into Raven's eyes, he feels as though Raven knows all of his secrets. Even thinking about it makes him nervous.
"How are you feeling?" Raven asks Leo, smiling.
"I'm OK. Thank you for aiding me, sir. By the way, how are my friends?
"Are they okay? "
"Don't be anxious; they're OK."
"Thank you, but I have something to say."
Prior to Leo saying anything to Raven, Raven uses his ability to identify Leo Maxwell's new status.
