Chapter 10 - Life in the Academy: Prologue to the First Arc Part I

Early in the morning, while reading on the veranda, Raven gently smells his tea and takes a small sip that makes him smile.

Sonya brewed the tea, which included camellia sinensis, honey, and other flowers. It was high-end tea leaves that only nobles could afford, and Raven liked her Tea Recipe.

(hmmmm, hmmmm) Raven nods his head while slowly drinking the tea. He also hums a popular Earth song.

After finishing his morning reading, Raven removes his eyeglasses and stores them in his eyeglasses case. He then calls Sonya and asks her to assist him in pushing the wheelchair to the academy.

Raven overhears a student discussing the special dungeon that appears in Armstrong City outside the Academy's gate. It's been a hot topic for nearly a week.

"Hey! Hey! Did you hear about what happened in Armstrong City a curious student asked."

A young man with blonde hair is overjoyed to inform them of the Special dungeon. Raven simply frowns and shakes his head, thinking that students nowadays are obsessed with gossip.

The Blonde Student began telling what he knew about the news.

"Yes, I know what happened there; my father was one of the adventurers who fought and witnessed the bloodshed," the blonde student boasted.

Many common students were taken aback after hearing what the blonde student said. They continue their story, looking at him as if he were another species...

Raven and Sonya enter the academy, leaving the gossiping students outside the gate. While pushing Raven's wheelchair, Sonya asks him, "Young Master, are you really not interested in the Arm Strong City incident?"

"About the special dungeon? Of course I'm a little interested in it.." Raven responds as he turns his head and looks at Sonya. He is taken aback by Sonya's sparkling eyes, which are eager to share the news, so he lets her do the talking while teasing her a little.

"Young master!" sonya exclaimed, her cheeks turning bright red.

"OK, OK! just tell me what you know," Raven said with a Cheshire cat grin.

(Sonya tells Raven everything she knows about Armstrong City.)

"According to what I've heard, it began with an unknown man discovering the dungeon but never claiming ownership of said dungeon, instead leaving and disappearing without revealing his identity."

What happens next? replied with a puzzled expression.

"After the unknown man left, a normal villager who passed by saw the entrance to the dungeon; so he reported it to their head Chief, but the news spreads so quickly that even George Armstrong cannot control it; as a result, many Adventurers, nobles, and even guilds know about it," Sonya continues.

(While speaking with Raven, Sonya is overjoyed.)

The City Lord, adventurers, Nobles, and Guilds gathered at the dungeon's entrance to discuss ownership, but due to some provocation from someone and unruly adventurers, they fought, resulting in many deaths and destroying the village in a single day.

What? Raven is perplexed about the event in Armstrong City after hearing the news. He felt bad about it, but he knows it will happen again later. He simply did not take a countermeasure.

Sonya and Raven finally arrive at his class; however, before entering the room, Raven whispers something to Sonya, and she vanishes without a trace, while Raven enters the room.

Every time Raven entered the classroom, he exuded an aura that took the entire class by surprise.

It's been a while since Raven became a freshmen professor; he was nervous at first but hid it behind his poker face, which is why he always shows no emotion, so his students can't point out his mistakes.

Raven scans the room and is about to begin his lecture when he notices three students having a pleasant conversation in the back, as if they were unaware that Raven was already at the front.

Three two-inch pieces of chalk were floating and circling Raven, astounded by his control of wind magic. He plays the chalk with his left hand as he recalls his previous life when he slept inside the classroom during classes, causing his teacher to become enraged, resulting in him grasping a blackboard eraser that always throws to him like a professional ball thrower, making his forehead a bullseye target.

Raven sniggers and then throws the chalk, which flies to Leo and his friends at breakneck speed.

Boom!

"Leo (Point of View)"

It's been a while since Leo regressed, but in just three weeks, his stats, items, and magic mastery improved by leaps and bounds, and he made two new friends.

(At the same time)

As he speaks to Leo, a boy in a school uniform puts his right index and middle fingers in his glasses while holding a book in the other hand. "Hey, Leo, have you heard about the Armstrong dungeon? I heard it's open to the public and....

"If you had the money, that's it," a fat boy sarcastically cut him while eating a whole burger that was good for two people, causing the boy with glasses to fold his book and look at the fatty in contempt, saying "Shut up! You Wild Pig" as he shows him the middle finger.

"You.. you...you!" slurred the fat boy as he pointed his index finger and squealed "Four Eyes Monkey!"

They were about to fight in the room when Leo intervened, saying subtly, "You two! "Take note of the location."

The two look each other in the eyes and then look around, remembering that they are inside the class, which causes them to shrink like a mouse seeing a big cat.

Leo returns to his chair and sits as he mulls over something (Perhaps because of the butterfly effect? as I recall the Armstrong Dungeon will appear four months later and it was discovered by a criminal, not the mysterious person.) Leo was perplexed by the events, and he was also skeptical about the Mask Demon in duel mode as he convinced himself that it was because of the butterfly effect.

"Do you know the Mask Demon in the Challenge Mode?" inquired the fat boy, causing Leo to stop thinking... "It's my new idol," Fatty continues, as The Boy with Eyeglasses joins in the conversation...,as they forget their professor has already arrived.

Leo was speaking when he had premonitions that chilled his bones, and then....

Booom!

Ouchhh! The three scream and scratch their brows at the same time.

Some mobs laugh at their classmates' misfortune, while others get chills when they see the chalk pulverize in the three's forehead...

"Whooo? the!" exclaims Leo... While looking around, he came to a halt when he noticed Raven at the front staring at them smugly. Leo cowers and returns to his seat, foolishly scratching his brow.

End of Chapter.
