Chapter 7 - 007. Encounter [II]

Donald's POV

I whistled to catch her attention. She was overly disappointed. I struggled to keep my disbelief from showing on my face. I was awfully shocked when I saw her leg trapped within.

"You... can... come in." I ushered her in and pondered why she had to do it when she couldn't pull the door apart.

To my shock, she walked into the elevator gorgeously. I'd thought that the joint of her bone would have crushed into pieces but well, she seems competent and looked like she was into this act and had become an expert.

"Thank you." She mumbled.

My eyes closed involuntarily as the melody of her voice tore down the shock I was yet to absorb. A light smile eloped from my lips unplanned.

The fact that the lady was dressed differently from the tyrant earlier astonished me even more. Her hair served as the first guise. The woman from earlier has hair that is dark and shiny. But here, she was with red hair, curled and packed to fall on one shoulder. She was also wearing a long, silver gown that sparkled like a lake of diamonds in place of that black trench coat. The front top thigh of her leg was visible through the opening in the flare of her dress on one side. The more reason she could thrust her leg into that elevator effortlessly. Likewise, she seemed to have put another touch on her makeup.

She was a master at disguise!

As I looked through the images I was comparing her to, I took a lonesome breath.

As I was comparing her, it occurred to me that I was here to attend an event. Perhaps, this girl was sent on a mission to this location.

Her mission here was to assassinate someone?!

My heart began to raise as I processed it from the onset.

I couldn't withhold myself but believe that she was in this residence for a mission! This was what my instinct told me and my instincts have not failed me once!

I don't, however, touch women or children. They were the ones I couldn't afford to hurt, but not the scumbags. If she were to touch my person, I would instantly wipe her off the earth's surface!

As I whipped my neck to her, she seems to have high keen alertness that she refrained from her moves immediately. I followed her step closely. She seemed to have had suspicions about me as well, but I don't f*cking care. There was a need for me to confirm she was harmless so that I wouldn't kill an innocent soul.

That was through her aura!

Before I eliminate you, I must affirm what you are! I grieved inward.

However, I wasn't entirely sure how my eyes met hers. I felt as though she had glamoured me. Beneath my face were her eyes weirdly scowling at mine. They held surprises and uncertainties. She appeared much more delicate than a killer. One who, in contrast to that Lady, could harm.

But she was the same as that lady. I'm certain!

Her purple orbs were in my eyes, beaming sweetly at me. They made an ominous cry to me, and it solidly struck me in the heart.

Fortunately, I have already dialed a number. The voice at the end of the line made me conscious.

F*ck! What actually was she?

With a very low tone, I answered the already-picked call. Communicating in Portuguese, "Envie 5 SWs (Shark Wings) para o Residente do Complexo L&G, imediatamente. [S2! Send 5 SWs (Shark Wings) to L&G Complex Residence immediately.]

"Copiado! O P (Proteger)? [Copied! The P (Protect)?]" S2 asked.

"As crianças e o padre... copie isso! [The kids and the Priest… copy that!]" I instructed.

"Copiado! T (alvo)? [Copied! T (Target)?]" S2 questioned further.

"Aquele safado da foto que mandei. [That scumbag in the picture I sent.]" I gritted against my teeth and my voice vibrated.

Anger was beginning to erupt in me for the innocence I found in this girl. She was a professional one, she skilled it and feigned everything perfectly.

Her disguise was top-notch.

Only if she knew, she would be good as dead soon!

"Copie isso, S2... Não é uma Execução Total (T.E)! [Copy this, S2… Not a Total Execute (T.E)!]" I warned him, strongly.

With this feminine, I don't want clean and clear execution. I want her alive, to confess, and to satisfy my curiousness.

"Copiado! Chefe. [Copied! Boss.]" Sharply, he affirmed.

"S2!" I rocked out his code name before he would end the call, "Aguarde meu pedido antes de executar! [Wait for my order before execute!]" I warned again.

"Copiado. [Copied.]" He replied.

"Eu quero T vivo.  Repito, basta rastrear T e aguardar minha ordem antes de qualquer execução! [I want T alive. I repeat, just track T and wait for my order before any execution!]" I warned him, strongly again.

"Copiado! Chefe!!! [Copied, Boss!!!]" He affirmed.

I felt reassured at his third affirmation. I wouldn't take it lightly if he dare make a mistake.

"Sem erro! [No mistake!]" I breathed out softly, 'Sobre! [Over!]" I cut him off immediately after my voice escalated.

As I dropped the call, I felt as though this was the hardest operation I ever meant to perform.

Although I would face trial for dispersing 5 SWs unplanned. But with this feeling I have, I must safeguard people who require my protection.

That father and those children.

Melissa's POV

Later, as he pretended to be scrolling on his phone, I began to occasionally feel his attention on me. I moved backward as a result. Behold, he took the same step simultaneously as I.

This made me force a quick peek at him. Our orbs entwined and the time seems to stop for me… perhaps for us.

I was overwhelmed by his strong and oppressive mystique. In contrast to his manliness, that aura was excessively dark. Despite being scented disastrously, he had charmingly pure eyes. His dark, flamboyant pupils were ensconced in that dazzling silvery eyes. I couldn't take my eyes off of him, as though I had been submerged in them. He displayed emotions that were the opposite of those that I felt, but he also seemed to be harboring feelings that I was unable to discern.

Why was he giving me that kind of stare?

He then made a single blink, and my spine tingled with a warm sensation. I was unable to swallow as it appeared that a large lump had blocked my throat. Neither way, I couldn't whip my neck from him.

He progressively curled his head in my direction before stopping at almost an inch. My bloody body teemed with anxiety. I was abruptly taken over by a cough. the kind that uninvitedly hooked someone and wouldn't let them go.

Hiccups!

My chest smooched soundly with my heart. It appeared as though my heart would escape from me because my chest could no longer cage it.

Why did I get intimidated?

"Pardon?" My tongue slipped.
