"Thank you,king Gerald" i responded. king gerald is such a nice ghost, i am sure he must have been a great human being.
"If i remember correctly you had a lot of questions to ask, so feel free to ask we have nothing to do but answer your questions" king Bartholomew said. "Obviously we have nothing to do we are ghost, or are we??" Queen rose responded, while her husband sighed in frustration.. "where did they find you, cause obviously you were found without a brain" ouch.
"That is no way to talk to your wife Bartholomew" oh i know that husky voice anywhere; it sends chills and i mean amazing chills up my spine.
"I see you found the door, wait! How did you find it?" i looked at him suspiciously, he hasn't even responded to my question when i felt his hands drawing me into his arms and i realised this man is sitting on a chair, where did he find a chair???
"Oh the chair was always there you just couldn't see it cause it was invisible i made it visible, as for how i found the door once you're given the title of king and Queen, there is alot of things made accessible to you, because it's part of your right as a royal blood" that made sense.
"So your mom can see it?" I asked " not anymore, her time as queen has passed, so if a royal blood dies they automatically end up here with their partner." wow, fascinating!!!, i thought inwardly "yep huge mistake on my part, i wish we got to decide if we wanted our partner with us, best case scenario i would say no please leave her to rot alone" king Bartholomew interrupted, while dean just sighed in frustration.
"so my mom has to die for both of them to end up here" i get it now, it is something called *LIFE AFTER DEATH* but with a twist, so in this world the saying *I would love you even in death* is possible here, wow!!!!!!
"You all made the queen confuse, i believe she wanted to ask a question, so tell us your question light" i suddenly remembered i had a question.
"This question is directed to king Bartholomew, your majesty sir i have a question for you" i said but no response everywhere went silent.
"Hey deep shit king, my queen has a question for you" i turned red at the mention of him calling me his queen, i got to get used to this lifestyle already....
"I heard her talk you spoiled brat, you're lucky i am not aliv....." his sentence got interrupted by the sound of his wife laughing loudly.
"Haha he called you deep shi..... he called you a deep shit king...hahaha, even if you're alive you can't do nothing more than a rotten body deep shit king. Hahaha" she spoke, but as i backtrack to every word they have directed to each i wonder why the hate.
"Little one, please do not mind my foolish wife for she lack manners, she herself knows she was raised by pigs" i felt the cruelty of his words i am sure that if he were alive he would have spat in disgust at the thought or the mere mention of calling her his wife.
"So my question basically is why do you and your wife have so much hate towards each other" i asked out of curiosity because the hate was just to big, you would see it as maybe a normal couple conversation of them making fun of each other, but nope the tension of hate i am feeling is strong and that made me snuggle more into deans hands and he understood and held me tighter.
As the whole room went quiet waiting for Bartholomew the 6th of va-mystic to respond the air in the room just got a whole lot tense and when he released a breath you would think this must have been something severe....
"She cheated on me with my brother" he finally broke the silence only for dean to burst out laughing and this is something you would ask yourself, is it really funny??
"Is that how you remember it, really you deep shit.. see i knew you were mad but not this mad but how you remember it is not how it goes" dean said, "how do you know what happened you spoiled brat in case you forgot you weren't even born then" king Bartholomew spoke.
"You seem to forget that kings can see the lives of past kings from when they were born to when their life ended, now let me tell you a story of Bartholomew the deep shit of va-mystic"
"You see, king Gerald son had a son and that son gave birth to two boys deep shit was the second of the two boys, that what's makes him the 6th of va-mystic, he just like any other prince was trained for any incoming situation that might happen, he was given the best education but his brother method of learning was a little advanced because his brother was next in line for the throne, king Gerald grand son was getting old but his two sons had not gotten a bride, so he decided to hasten up the process cause the king didn't believe in arrange marriage he believed in the MEN OF DESTINY but they haven't give them a match so he made a decree that would help his sons speedup the process"
"I king walter grandson of king Gerald the 2nd, here by make a decree that which ever of my sons bring a bride and then get her pregnant with a son he shall be my successor"
"Now obviously daddy didn't play fair now did he deep shit, but for a second choice like you his decree became fair " dean continued " months after deepshit brother gets himself a wife and that wife would be rose the 4th of the fayes, now fayes don't really live that long while vampires do, now for the sake of fairness once a vampire reaches a certain age he steps down and gets staked in his heart then his spirit is then taken and put in a very protective box that hold his spirit firmly, now once his queen dies her spirit comes here and his is then brought here to continue their life even during death" wow!!! I might need popcorn for this.
"So a vampire getting staked doesn't necessarily mean death but how we ensure that there is no coming back ,we burn the body so any evil or even good king can't come back and start a war" that's a good thing if you think about it.
"Back to deep shit, he couldn't get himself a bride first and when he finally did his brother was already halfway into it now the only thing was who would get their wives to give them an heir, now deep shit here heard that his brother wife wasn't really the smartest unlike his wife who was part of the vampire clan strong and intelligent, but he had a problem he loved to control people like he was the king, so deep shit here made a plan to get his brother wife and kill his own wife" oh my Goodness!!!!!!!! That's horrible.
"Horrible right, but deep shit here obviously wanted power now didn't you?"dean said "shut up that's not how it went, i never wanted her dead, i just wanted an heir and she couldn't provide me with one" king Bartholomew shouted " you see deep shit she could conceive but you were impatient, why because you had gotten rose pregnant by sneaking into her bed while you pretended to have a drink with your brother by giving him sleeping herbs while you go fuck his wife" Disgusting king Bartholomew, how shameful.
"So when rose said she had gotten pregnant his brother was overjoyed, but Bartholomew said nothing, he waited until he heard the cry of the child to know if it was healthy and if the child is a boy, when everything he wanted got confirmed, he still stayed quiet and waited until his brother's Coronation" dean stopped and looked down towards me where i stayed snuggled in his arms and pecked my forehead and whispered in assurance to me "i would never do that to you".
"I know, so continue the story" i said " Okay Pure, so when it was time for his brother to be crowned, he came up and told everyone to stop that he has a confession, meanwhile he has been fucking with rose head, using an incense that makes a person see who the user of the incense wants them to see, so to rose she was seeing her..." " husband!!" I said in disbelief " exactly pure".
"Everyone stop this Coronation" Young Prince Bartholomew shouted from amongst the crowd, while his brother looked at him suspiciously. "The child is mine!!!!!" Everyone gasped in awe to bartholomew's confession as the crowd whispered among themselves and Bartholomew brother looked at his wife in disbelief as she also was confused. "He lies" Rose spoke immediately.
"What do you mean the child is yours Bartholomew, i have only and will forever be loyal to my husband" rose looked at him directly in his eye as she spoke because this was a strong allegations and if she loses to fear then the people might not believe her.
"Oh really, well then let's find out which energy this child carries" bartholomew sounded confident. So a healer was called, and when the child was examined with both brothers to discover which of the brothers energy the child carries, it was discovered that the child actually did belong to Bartholomew.
"The child is his as he has said" The healer announced, and the whole crowd went wild until the the sound of a drawn sword was heard then everywhere went quiet, for Bartholomew's brother held a sword to his brother neck while rose lay on the ground with tears overflowing from her eyes for even she couldn't comprehend the words she had just heard...
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" rose shouted from the top of her lungs for she feared that she betrayed her husband and couldn't even remember it or have proof that everything was a lie.
"Why would you do this to me Bartholomew, i have always been there for you, so why?!!!!" His brother spoke with pain heard from his voice his tears flowed cause even his eyes couldn't contain the betrayal. " why, you are asking me why!!! Haha look at yourself you are not fit to be king i fucked your slut of a wife under your nose and you didn't even know, cause you were drunk and passed out and he calls himself a king" bartholomew eyes held no remorse as he looked into his brother's eye.
"ENOUGH!!!!!!" Bartholomew father the king had finally spoken. " the decree was that the first to bring forth an heir would be king, even if Bartholomew went about it the wrong way which he would be punished for but for now he must be crowned king" the king has spoken and unfortunately that day Bartholomew was eventually crowned king and rose queen, while his brother left never to be heard from again ever since that day, unfortunately also the king died so Bartholomew was never actually punished, because he became king.
"He treated rose like shit and made her forget she was actually even married to his brother in the first place, he was the worst king, even if he did a few good thing, the ancient gods that ruled over va-mystic didn't forget, some say that his brother had cried for justice, because deep shit didn't even get to step down when he was struck by lightning, and the gods brought his spirit here themselves and declared him guilty, so his spirit has been chained for eternity" well according to me the punishment felt to little for the crime done.
"I know the punishment felt to little but we don't question the gods" dean shrugged " so what happened to his first wife?" I asked "she killed herself, here is why the punishment was too little because she was actually carrying a child, so you see deep shit she could conceive..... but the betrayal was too severe that she lost the child and killed herself" That's so sad i didn't even notice i was crying until i felt dean hands on my cheek wiping my tears.
"So does rose eventually remember??" I asked as the pity i felt for rose engulfed me.
"Well pure their relationship seemed liked it was abandoned by the ancient gods of va-mystic, you could say it was because they weren't destined for each other, so out of pity for a good queen that knew nothing of what her brother-in-law had done, they made rose not remember the betrayal, they only made her remember life after she eventually married deep shit and how he treated her like shit, so even as i spoke she can't hear or see the visions you were able to see of the coronation" oh that's good, right? I guess the whole thing made her develop an attitude but she still seem nice, right?
"The only mistake they made was not making deep shit dumb, so he can't speak to her again" well now that i think about it i have been hearing sound of a metal chain moving, good for you Bartholomew. " so why does Bartholomew think she cheated on him with his brother?" It doesn't make sense if he was the one that cheated his brother why doesn't he remember it.
"Oh deep shit remembers it, he even remembers the burning sensation of the lightning, in his head he has to relive everything, and everything would feel so real, so he just says anything to make himself look like a victim, that's why he is chained so his spirit can feel his freedom taken away that's why he is always pouring his anger on his wife as though it was her fault" oh poor rose i couldn't help but cry loudly.
"So other kings here can they hear what you're saying?" I have so much question.
"And i will answer them all, yes they can hear but can't say anything cause this story is one no king that has died can speak about both past and present,they are able to share their stories and speak about it except this one, you see the first king can't remember the kings before him, cause they weren't any kings before him, the first king and 2nd king had been long dead when the men of destiny and ancient gods went silent and that was when the werewolf bastard took over but he was never really added to the line of the kings so when the vampires eventually took over they crowned king Gerald son king that made him the 3rd king...but the 2nd can see the life of the first king, the 3rd king can see the life of the second and first king, so can the 4th it's an endless circle, while i can see the life of the 1st king down to the 9th king, cause i am dean the 10th of va-mystic",
" wait!!!!!! I just remembered something" i opened my eyes in shock as i remember that king Gerald and fiona told me they had no child, so how????? " But king Gerald told me he had no child with queen fiona, so how did he get a son?".
" i believe what he told you was that he never had a child with queen fiona and that's true but he had a child and that was with another female vampire but sadly she died during the birth of the child, but queen fiona treated that child like her own and eventually that child was crowned king, he is even here at the moment but can't speak for now" so many mystery unravelled, today is the best day of my life...
The excitement had me overwhelmed i couldn't contain it and had a shock of excitement from my head to my toe making me shake.
"Getting excited i see, i haven't even touched you where i know you want to be touched and you're shaking already i see" Dean smirked as i playfully hit his chest while turning red as a tomato and that made him chuckle, his chuckles were like music to my ears and the vibration i felt from his chest as he chuckled made me feel safe.
" so my last question is why isn't the werewolf king here?"
" the werewolf king wasn't really fit for a king position so he was never part of the history of kings, only the kings after him and the vampires that were alive during his time remember him the kings are able to remember him because he sat on the throne, it was also rumored that he had a son and killed the child and its mother, nobody knows how true that is"
Time has left them by the time they were done telling tales indeed the door of ancient stories held a lot of stories, and it has left me wondering what my story would be and how it would be told. I pray to God that has give me this life to live that when i rule, i would rule with the wisdom he has given me.
"It is time to leave now child for time has long forgotten you as it waits for no one" king Gerald spoke
"See you next time everyone" as i was about to stand on my own feet i felt myself lifted in bridal style.
"Yeah, kings and you too deep shit" dean said as we walked towards the door and the door automatically open for us, as we exited i looked over dean's shoulder and as expected the door was nowhere to be seen, i wonder where it would be located now.
Meanwhile in the doors of ancient secret...
