"Don't fucking shoot!" Miguel shouted out to his cousin Pablo who was in hot pursuit of Gemma pointing his gun at her.
Pablo shot into the air for the second time but that didn't stop Gemma, she kept running, not looking back.
Miguel called off the other two guards who came out to go after Gemma.
Miguel wondered what her plan was. They were very far from the city and the nearest road was miles away. Did she think she could get away?
Pablo caught up with Gemma and grabbed her by arm pulling her to himself. Gemma struggled, trying to fight him off. She kneed Pablo in the groin, causing him to groan in pain, but he didn't let go of her, instead, he hit her hard on the head with the butt of his gun, out of annoyance, causing Gemma to collapse on the ground, and passed out.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" Miguel yelled at Pablo as he caught up with them, his eyes on Gemma who was passed out on the ground.
"What did you do that for?"
"She tried to run," Pablo said.
