The system may have made the leveling harder but gave Robert some benefits also.
After level 5, a new function gets unlocked.
And that function was store.
A common function that is available in most systems.
Stores usually just sell things like cultivation techniques, different types of pills, artifacts, weapons and much more.
The currency which is used in system store transactions is usually credits.
He thought his system store would be like this but his excitement was short-lived.
After watching his system store, he mocked himself. His system was unique, so how could the system store be normal?
The system store was very simple.
There were two items listed on the screen and apart from that there was a big 'store' sign at the top of the screen and .... Nothing else.
There were actually two skills, like this-
Basic punch (prerequisite: 20 strength , 100 credits)
Basic shooting accuracy (prerequisite: 20 strength, 100 credits)
He was clearly disappointed. Just looking at these two skills, he could tell that they were useless.
He thought the first skill could be good. By learning this skill, he could at least fight and he could also become like that certain bald protagonist who ends the fight with one punch.
Hehe... Just by thinking about this, he felt good. That was cool.
As for the second skill, he didn't think this skill was any good. Are there even guns in this world?
After thinking, he bought basic punch skills.
He didn't know, but he felt that his knowledge had increased and his arms were now much stronger than before.
Just thinking about the skill, he understood all about this skill.
and..... his system once more duped him.
The basic punch was actually nothing more than a simple punch with no additional techniques, nothing else..
The basic punch that everyone knew, even a 3-year-old boy knew this.
But he could see the hidden potential of this skill, how terrifying this skill could be.... as if.
There was nothing mentioned about whether there would be an upgrade to this skill or not.
He first thought this should be at least like boxing or something like that, but nooo.
He felt bad and frustrated. He just spent 100 credits on this useless skill.
Now, nothing was in the store other than basic shooting accuracy. He decided to buy this 2nd skill. As for why?
Because he didn't have any option, his first skill was useless, but skill could be useful. He was optimistic.
The next day, he worked hard, like every day, and he obtained the remaining 11 credits and he bought basic shouting accuracy.
Like earlier, he got knowledge about this skill.
This skill was very useful. As the name said, it increases accuracy when using firearms and also bows.
If you can hit your target 1 out of 10 times earlier now, after obtaining this skill you can hit 4 out of 10 shots.
The only disadvantage of this skill was it needed a gun or bow and in this world, most probably, guns didn't exist and people didn't use bows. Bows were a very unpopular weapon.
He decided to search for the bow later.
