Chapter 45 - Chapter Forty Five

Few weeks later after Andrew's burial, Sara decided to spend some time with Nora to help ease her pain a little because she knew how Nora felt when her brother was buried.

"Do you need anything?" Sara asked but Nora shook her head.

"I think I will just stay a while in my room to get a hold of myself." Sara nodded.

"I will prepare you something to eat."

"Thanks." Nora went into her room, laid on the bed and started crying.

Sara was preparing noodles for her because she knows Nora wouldn't eat much not after what had happened.

There was a knock at the door which made her stop what she was doing. "Nora, are you expecting anyone?" she asked loudly.

"No," Nora's soft voice answered.

Sara walked to the door, "Who is that?" she asked but there was no reply. "I am not going to open this door until you reveal yourself."

"Hi Sara, It's Michael." the voice answered. Sara had to open the door to be sure it's who she heard and when she did, she saw Michael standing infront of her. She tried to quickly shut the door but Michael forced his way in.

"I just need few minutes to talk to Nora, please."

"She doesn't want to talk to you please leave!"

Michael pleaded with Sara to be patient with him and give him a chance to talk to Nora but Sara refused.

"If you don't get the hell out of this house, I swear, I am going to call the cops," While Sara was threatening him, Michael continued to plead with her but Sara wasn't interested in his plead.

"Get out, Michael! Leave!" She opened the door wide for him. "I don't want to push you out but if you continue with this, I won't hesitate to push you."

"Sara, please, I am begging you... Let me see her an..." Sara didn't wait to hear any more words, she pushed him out of the house and locked the door.

"Is everything okay?" Nora asked as she walked down to meet Sara.

Sara agitated for a while, hoping she didn't see what happened. "Um...everything is fine." she answered with a fake smile.

"I thought I was hearing some noise."

Sara ran to meet her and took her to the table where she was about to serve her food. "This is a special delicacy," she said as she brought the noodles she had prepared to the table.

Nora smiled when she saw that the special delicacy was noodles. "Noodles?"

"Well, you know, we cook the best noodles in town."

They both laughed. Nora was about to dig into the food when she became nausea all of a sudden. She dropped her fork and covered her mouth with her hand.

"Are you feeling okay?" Sara asked.

Nora nodded. She took her hand away from her mouth and as she was about to grab her fork, she stood up and rushed to the bathroom. Sara left her food and ran after her only to find her vomiting.

Sara patted her back and after she was done, she held Nora to her room. "Have you felt this way before today?" Nora shook her head. Sara touched her forehead and she was burning up. "I think we need to take you to the hospital so they can check out what is wrong with you."

"I am fine, Sara. I am sure it is just the stress from the funeral and all. I am fine, really." Nora assured but Sara was still in doubt.

"I am going to call Kelvin and Diego and..."

"No..." She stopped her. "...we can't make them worry for somethin..." she stood up again and ran to the bathroom to throw up again.

"That's it." Sara brought out her phone, " I am calling them." she dialed Kelvin's number and after Kelvin picked the call, she explained everything that has happened.

"I will be right there."

Nora came out of the bathroom feeling weak. "You didn't have to."

"Yes, I have to." Sara told her. "They will be here soon and we will take you to the hospital."

Nora sat on the bed as they waited for Kelvin and Diego to arrive.

After few minutes, a car drove into the area and Sara could tell they were the one. She held Nora's hand and walked her down the stairs.

Kelvin knocked at the door and Sara ran to open the door for them. "Where is she?" Sara pointed to where she left Nora and Kelvin ran to meet her. "Are you okay?"

Nora nodded. "I told her it was nothing serious but she wouldn't listen to me."

"I am glad she didn't listen to you." Kelvin answered her.

They got to the car and saw Diego. "Are you feeling okay?" Diego asked before opening the door for Nora.

Nora glared at Sara for making them worry about her so much but Sara didn't mind.

Diego started the engine and drove to the hospital.

Michael had been waiting for Nora to come out but when he saw the car packed, he hid himself somewhere. After they had left, he boarded a taxi and told the driver to follow Kelvin's car. He wore a disguise which made the driver not to know who he really was.

He saw them dropping at the hospital and he wondered what was going on there. He decided to call White to tell him to come and check out what was going on. White came to meet him and after Michael explained everything, he went to the hospital to find out what was going on.

Nora was taken to the ward while Kelvin, Sara and Diego were left outside the ward.

"What happened to her?" Diego asked when they got some seats.

"She vomited twice. I didn't want to assume it was what I was thinking and that was why I requested that she was rushed to the hospital."

"What do you assume it is?" Kelvin asked.

"Remember the diagnosis of the nurse where they said she might be pregnant but it is too early to tell?" Kelvin and Diego nodded. "I am thinking the nurse might be right." Kelvin and Diego were quiet. "Also, there is something else." she whispered to them. "I don't want her to know about it yet."

"What's that?" Kelvin asked.

"Michael came over to the house and he was pleading to speak with Nora."

"What?"

Sara nodded. "I sent him out before she could see him."

"Sorry to interrupt but the test result is out." The nurse told them.

"Well?" Sara asked.

"It's proven that Miss Eleanora Bell is two weeks pregnant."

They were shocked. Even though Sara was expecting it, she didn't expect it to be true.

What would Nora do if she finds out? Sara thought.
