Nora couldn't stop crying. She wished this didn't have to happen to her but it did. "You don't want to talk to me?" Diego asked. "Are you still mad at me?"
Nora looked at him and shook her head. "It's not that." she replied him.
"Then what's wrong?"
"I thought we agreed to let her be." Kelvin walked into the room and brought a chair in front of her to sit. "How are you feeling?" He asked while touching her forehead. "Do you feel sick anywhere?"
Nora shook her head. "I just need some rest but I am scared those memories will come to taunt me again."
"I am not going to ask what those memories are. Anytime you feel you want to talk, we are here to listen."
She nodded. "Thank you," she muttered to him.
"Thank you for being alive. I have no idea what I'd do if anything bad had happened to you."
Something bad did happen to me. She shook the thought off and smiled at him.
"I will go and prepare you something to eat and you can rest for the night."
"I am not hung..." her stomach rumbled. It was then she remembered she hadn't eaten anything since yesterday night.
"You're not but your stomach definitely is." Kelvin placed a kiss on her forehead. I was a shock to Diego and Nora. "I am glad you are back." Nora smiled at him. "Take care of her." He told Diego before he left the room.
Diego turned to face her and put the strand of hair blocking her face behind her ears. "You are beautiful."
Nora tilted her head a little to get a perfect glance at his face and when she noticed he was being serious, she laughed. "Are you just knowing that now?" she asked him with a smile on her face.
"I made you smile." His words made Nora smile again. He held her hands and said to her, "I am so sorry I got angry that you couldn't reciprocate the feelings."
"It's not your fault. I understand how you felt."
"But still, I shouldn't have. I know I said if you don't date me, I can't your friend, I was stupid for saying that." he paused. "Can I ask to be your friend again?"
"You will always be my friend, Diego."
"Bestfriends?"
"Best friends forever." Nora answered him with a smile.
Kelvin walked in and was surprised to see Nora smiling, "What did I miss?" he placed the food gently on the bed.
"Just reminiscing old times," Diego told him while winking at Nora who smiled at him.
"I see." Kelvin knew something was fishy but he didn't mind. He was liking the way the atmosphere felt in the room. "Oh right! Sara called me when I was in the kitchen. She wants to speak with you. I will place a call to her now." He brought out his phone and dialed Sara's number. The moment Sara picked the call, she requested for a video call.
Nora laughed.
Kelvin shooked his head and changed the call to a video call and gave the phone to Nora.
Immediately Sara saw Nora, she shouted. "Am I shouting?" She asked.
Nora was laughing. "Hi girlfriend," She called her with a soft voice.
"Hey babe, you got us all scared."
"I didn't mean to. I am sorry."
"Andrew and I will be coming over tomorrow." Nora looked at Kelvin. Sara understood the look Nora was giving so she said, "You need to rest and that's why we need you to stay there till you are all better."
"And Andrew agreed to this?" Sara nodded. "Is he doing OK?"
"Now he is."
Nora was relieved. "Thanks a lot Sara for being there for me."
"What are best friends for? Anyways, I will leave you to rest now, OK?"
"OK." She gave the phone to Kelvin and ate the potatoes and sauce Kelvin prepared for her.
"I will take care of her." Kelvin said before hanging up. "After eating would you like to shower so I can get you some fresh clothes."
Nora nodded.
"I will set the bath for you then," Diego went to the bathroom.
"And I will get you some clothes," Kelvin left the room.
It was today Nora noticed how blessed she was. She might not have everything but she has people that cares so much about her, what else does she need?
She ate her food while trying to push away every negative thoughts.

"What the f**k are you doing, Michael?" Austin asked when he saw Michael putting some clothes in a box.
White held Michael's hand to stop him from what he was doing but a glare from Michael made him remove his hand. "At least tell us what f**k is going on."
After Michael was done packing his bags, he checked the time and his flight was almost ready. He needs to be at the airport by eleven so the flight will leave first thing tomorrow morning by six.
His friends were asking him questions but he didn't reply to them. Austin got angry and stood at the door, blocking his way. "You are not leaving until you tell what the f**k is going on."
"I ruined my one chance of having her back, is that what you want to hear?"
Austin and White was confused. "Who are we talking about here?" Austin asked.
"Is it Kayla? Or Gina, your f**k mate?" White asked.
"I am talking about Nora you morons."
"I don't understand you, man. I mean wasn't it all a game to you know lay with her stuff?"
"Exactly! You told us it was a revenge."
"It was then but..." he bit his lips to suppress himself from saying what he wanted to say.
"You still love her, man." Austin shook his head. "What about the 'I don't go back to my vomit'? What the f**k has gotten into you?"
"He is still in love, he was just too dumb to see it. I am out of here." White left the room and Austin joined after leaving Michael all alone in the room.
Michael got angry and punched the wall multiple times as he watched his blood drip down from his palm to the ground.
