Today is a happy day.
Ellis and Edward sit side by side, taking big gulps of their drinks, seemingly determined to get drunk.
When it comes to drinking, Ellis may be a mage and more slender compared to Edward, but he has an impressive tolerance. Drinking mouthful after mouthful, he doesn't look drunk at all.
Adam finds this quite surprising.
It isn't until Sonny steps up beside him and explains with a hint of disdain, "Pay him no mind, he's cheating with a spell."
"In order to drink with Mr. Edward, he specially developed a unique sobering skill that eliminates the active ingredients in the alcohol."
Removing the active ingredients... in other words, it's like drinking water with no difference.
Could it really work like that?
Adam is taken aback.
Developing a spell just for drinking, what kind of bored person would do that?
Yet, Ellis did it.
It's hard to know what to say about this.
