In Bai Zhu's words, the creator of the website was still at an amateur level, so it took her less than a minute to hack into the website's back end and, as per Song Lan's request, replace the content with cute animal images.
"This website is quite peculiar."
She dialed Song Lan's number, "Their targets are all influential figures, I had assumed their technical skills would be much more impressive."
At first, the content on the website led her to consider many possibilities.
Competitors of Kolo Film Industry, some secret forces "from the outside world," or perhaps the mechanical creations Song Lan had mentioned before, but from what she could see, they were only facing a group of amateurs from civil society.
"They're trying to regain control of the website now, but, to be honest, their countermeasures are just too... childish."
Bai Zhu found it hard to believe that such a civilian group could have taken down a big shot like Mikaela.
