As Remi tried hard convincing Old nanny Quincy of her identity, the old woman fell asleep and snore herself to sleep. Looking at the wrinkled hand and the lines all over her face, Remi knows at least Clarissa was not alone. This loyal nanny of hers still care for her dearly. Nanny Quincy mention of Old madam Henson is also seems to favor Clarissa at least. Her twins does not seem to live alone without anyone to love her. She has Baldie and Rachel growing up. Eventhough Baldie and her decided to go through a completely different career choice than Rachel, their friendship does not waver at all.
Looking around the old dusty cabin they call room, she open the drawers checking each of informations she can use to at least be more convincing as Clarissa. Looking at the Clarissa's photo album, she has realized, Clarissa is a few inches shorter than her, and her hair is lighter compare to Remi. She is also skinnier and dull looking. Remi is always proud when it comes about her look, God bless her with beauty, regardless Clarissa and her is an identical twins, clarissa just doesnt seem to be attractive, she looks plain as if lifeless.
The funny thing lingers in Remi's mind, how the Henson hss not even realized that from the very beginning.
The quiet evening was disturbed with a loud inpatient knocked coming from the outside. The shabby cabin door looks like it has taken too much abuse, some sort of hatred started brewing in the bottom of Remi's already cold heart. These people has no respect for sick woman at all. She refrain herself from screaming telling them to stop. Soon, she will teach all of them one by one starting with Mona.
She took her time from answering the door, they can wait a little bit. Opening the door she saw another housekeeper, this time a young lady look to be 18 years old dressed in a uniform making dissatisfied face. Her ugly little expressions will cost her one day, uttered Remi.
"Why it took you so long to open?"
hand on her waist like a peacock. She flips her hair trying to ascertain dominance.
"What do you need"
Remi cold voice void of emotion can certainly giving a goosebumps to those that hear it.
Surprised by the cold tone of the voice, the young arrogant housekeeper stepped back while rubing her arms tbats covered in hoosebumps.
"Dinner is ready, Master He son has called for you"
She dared herself to tell Remi who didn't seem interested in a least bit at what she said.
The day started to get dark, the wind today also seemed to be strong, the damp earth smells permeate reminding everyone it will be a rainy night.
"I will be there, prepare food for nanny Quincy as well" not forgetting the old nanny that sound asleep on the old crickety bed.
The atmosphere in the Henson villa's dining room looked lively, bright lights and the sound of cutlery accompanied by the laughter of a happy family. Remi who observed the situation was nauseated when she remembered Clarissa's fate, although she did not see it outwardly with her own eyes, but she had felt the bad treatment given directly by Mona, who was only a housekeeper, dared to hit her when she was still in the hospital ward. Remi's steps are getting heavier while holding back her aching heart but she pushed herself for the sake of Clarissa that she swore to at least avenge.
After Remi approached the dining room, all the eyes at the dining table were focused on her, Remi glanced out of the corner of her eye and could feel the heat of Arianna's glare who unabashedly snickered while slamming her cutlery on the table. The effective way to stay in the same household with the heartless people like them is to put on a thick skin, she should also "lose her memory," then she can do as she pleases on the grounds that she doesn't know she is not liked. Growing up in an orphanage, Remi is an expert on being thick skinned. Their motto, "shame equal hunger".
Smiling sweetly with a great game plan, Remi watched each sumptuous meal served on the mahogany table, each dish was served on a porcelain plate covered with gold plated striped just like the royal family. She wonders if the Knight family ate with a gold plate. Well that is another problem she needs to solves.
"Who invited you to come and joined us? "
Arianna snickered in protest and hugged herself back in the chair.
Remi just kept her silent and continued to eat the side dish in front of her, the fragrant smell of every dishes has made her secretly drooling.
Moreover, she had not tasted a grain of rice when she was still in the hospital, no one seems to ask if the "patient" is starving to death
"Hey you!!! Are you deaf!!!!"
Arianna screamed loudly since she was blatantly ignored by Remi that continued to eat her food with manners and grace, not showing even an ounce hunger that is rioting in her stomach cursing her alive.
Mom!!! look at her, she's getting bolder and becoming brave!!!" pointing her slender fingers towarda Remi that still chewing her food looking at Arianna calmly.
Conrad who started to feel uncomfortable with the situation finally spoke up. "Its me who invited her up, she was just discharged of the hospital"
Arianna was transfixed when she heard her father's explanation who had never spoken when she decided to bully Arianna. She felt as Remi wanted to rob her father attention who has spoiled her so much? can't be!!! she has to discredit this lowly woman so her dad will be back to normal.
"Whatever!! Mom and I will be leaving for our shopping trip to Credence Province tomorrow, and guess what? we will be boarding the Knight's private jet provided by the Young Master Knight. He is willing to spend a lot of money as a tribute to the Henson family. I am sure he saw me the night you decided to kill yourself from rejection by the Hale family!!!"
After those words came out of Arianna's big mouth, Remi stopped eating, placing her cutlery and wiped the tip of her mouth with the napkin provided. She observed Felicia's contorting face who was gritting her teeth and biting her lip as a sign of anger with her daughter who apparently brainless.
