Chapter 1 - The wrong person to bully and a sentence gets announced!

*WHAM*

"...!"

I frowned as the teeth of the guy I punched cut open my knuckles, but at least I sent him flying all right.

*SLAM*

"Urgh...!"

That dumbass crushed into the locker and let out a pained groan as the blood splashed out from his burst lips as the other students watched, stunned in shock.

What?

Did you expect me to just take it like its nothing?

"The fuck is your problem, Vincent?! I was always upfront about not being interested in anyone or anything like that! Why the hell are you messing with me for rejecting some girl?!"

I took a step forward and asked the idiot sprawled on the floor, trying my best to hold back and not kick the ever-loving shit out of him.

"...you made Emma cry..."

The moron looked up at me with an upset expression and muttered as if I was the one in the wrong.

"All I did was say – I am not interested in dating or hookups, sorry – and you pathetic ass immediately tries to act as if I sullied her honor or some shit! She isn't a fucking princess Vincent! I don't give a damn how much you crush on her either! I had not been friends with you since damn kindergarten so you would start breaking my stuff and try to make everyone bully me once your puberty starts!"

I scoffed in anger, taking another step.

Yeah. The bastard that couldn't even handle a single punch was my best friend – or should I say, former best friend. Vincent Moor. A runner-up for the next leader of the judo club.

"Jackie, you need to chill...!"

Some other idiot moved in and shielded the fallen cretin – to make matters, even more, infuriating – it was someone I thought of as another close friend, Simon Rode. The president of the anime club.

It was quite a sight, a skinny kid stepping in to protect his friend who was at least twice his size – if not three times.

That guy had the heart in the right place...

...is what I used to think before he joined in on Vincent's attempts to bully me...

"The one who needs to chill is you. This isn't one of the shows we watched, Simon, and I am not some cartoonish villain."

I shook my head in disbelief, getting to my locker and throwing in a broken backpack that was either one of my former friends or someone who wanted to join in on the fun o picking on me, destroyed.

"...oh..."

Simon flinched and lost the bravado he was showing.

Seeing his stupid ass face made my hand tingle.

I really wanted to punch him as revenge for coming up with more inventive ways to mess up my meals in the cafeteria each day for the past month... or that feeling was just the blood dripping from my wounded knuckles.

"You... you hit Vincent anyways... We will tell the teachers...!"

"...huh...?"

Honestly – I thought that I misheard him, or straight-up imagined him saying the line – it was that outrageous!

Did a wannabe bully just said that he will report me to the teachers?

What the hell was that, an opposite day? Or is he trying out gaslighting as a new method to make my life unbearable?

"E-everyone has seen you, so you must..."

*SLAM*

"AAAAHHH!"

"SOMEBODY CALL THE TEACHER!"

I admit this was my mistake – when he grabbed my wrist and the bullshit began spewing from his stupid mouth, my body acted before my brain did and I slapped Simon straight to the ground. He got it even worse than Vincent and got folded like a plastic chair under an elephant.

The other kids started screaming in a panic because I knocked his lights out, or maybe that was part of their plan or something – hell, I wouldn't be surprised if I was being filmed or even streamed live right at this very moment.

"Considering that you all already know what you will say to the teachers, is there anyone else who wants to get their shit kicked in? You want to make me miserable, so why not volunteer to be another victim?"

I said, turning around and facing the crow that was very clearly trying to block the way to the exit as if those morons thought I was as stupid as them and would try to make a break for it.

"You...!"

Imagine my surprise when someone actually stepped out from the safety of the numbers and approached me looking quite upset.

To my surprise – or not really – it was the girl who started it all.

Emma Vickson.

The girl who asked me out over a month ago, and whom I rejected without a moment of hesitation.

"And what do you want...?"

I asked, giving her the benefit of the doubt that she wasn't willing to get punched and wanted to make some things clear.

*SLAP*

"..."

...and that was when she completely betrayed my expectations and slapped me straight in the face...

Not a whimsy slap either, she put her whole body into it – as expected of the star of the tennis club.

Considering that she basically didn't say anything, I also didn't feel like talking as I responded to her in kind.

*WHAM*

*thump*

...and headbutted her square in the forehead, causing her to slump down right where she was standing as her legs gave out...

For a moment everyone in the hallway went dead silent.

"..."

Emma didn't even seem to realize what happened and why she was on the floor.

Then she must felt something warm dripping down her face and she tried to wipe it off with her hands – that got stained with blood that came from the massive bruise forming right where our skulls met.

Well. At least now the talk and possible expulsion that I will face will actually be justified.

-------

"I hope you understand the severity of your actions, mister Sinner..."

"Will all due respect, sir. It's Zinner."

The headmaster was doing that bit where he was looking out of the window, with his back turned on me while he talked, though he might have actually been looking for the motorcycle revving its engine obnoxiously close to the school building – since I didn't really enjoy the theatric as he did, I simply reminded him how to spell my surname, making him frown and glare back at me.

"Indeed. The truth is that we had already had reports about the incidents involving you, mister Zinner. Honestly, with how mature and responsible you acted in the past, I believed that it would not come to this..."

The headmaster shook his head and turned around, putting his hands on the desk while leaning toward me.

"So you knew that I was bullied, but decided to do... nothing...? And now you make it seem as if I am the bad person? Seriously?"

"Watch your mouth, young man. You know full that you have brought it upon yourself."

I asked in disbelief, making the headmaster visibly angrier...

...as the revving of the engine was getting louder and louder...

Seriously, did some biker break into the school grounds or something?

"...?"

Just as I was thinking that the revving of the engine got obnoxiously loud and the headmaster turned around visibly annoyed...

"HUH?!"

*CRUSH*

...just to gasp in shock and throw himself to the side in panic, only a second before an unmanned motorbike smashed through the window, locked on onto me, as if someone had aimed it beforehand.

"Oh shit...! Wrong floor...!"

The voice of a mature lady came from the motorbike - and she certainly sounded upset...

It shocked me so much that I was a split second too slow and the last thing I remember was the splitting pain in my skull when the front tire of the unmanned motorbike blew my brains out

--------

I woke up in an odd world that looked like a badly rendered animation – half of the objects surrounding me did not have textures at all and were just bluish-gray blobs.

Similarly, the being sitting by the desk in front of me didn't seem to be loaded up properly, making the situation even more unreal.

"That's what I get for being cheap and hiring a back-alley soul delivery service instead of an official one... You do not meet my criteria at all, bloodthirsty brute..."

"!!!"

The strange creature spoke in an annoyed voice, making me flinch.

"Wha...?! What the hell is that supposed to mean?! Is it you who sent that motorbike to kill me?!"

I couldn't stop myself and called out in anger.

"Shut up, you waste of energy. Get out of my sight before the real hero shows up. Forget everything until you can't mess up my world anymore."

"!!!"

The creature scoffed at me and wave its hand, instantly creating immense pressure that threw me to the side.

The next moment, without even a chance to say anything else, I felt as if I was being sucked into an extremely tight tube...

------

"For an act such heinous, I sentence you to a lifetime in the Prison Dungeon!"

The next thing I came to, was a courtroom where the judge was declaring my sentence.

"Wh... what...?

I asked, shaking my head like a dog before looking around.

The courtroom was full of furious people glaring at me with disgust and hatred mixed with grim satisfaction.

No, seriously. What the hell is going on...?!
