Zach set the laptop up and immediately opened a folder they had organized beforehand and selected the video at the top of the list.
Right as he opened it, he paused it and flipped the laptop around so that the couple could see it.
"Let me just tell you some information on how we did our investigation, we broke it up into four shifts for each of us, with me going first. " Zach explained to them.
"I started in the basement with an EMF sensor, a thermal camera, and a normal night vision camera, there was also a camera stationed in the basement."
"Do you know what an EMF sensor does?" Zach asked the couple and they both shook their heads.
"Well the gist is, it lights up when it detects electromagnetic fields, these can be produced naturally but sometimes spirits give off this energy and it can detect them. " Zack explained to them.
"I'm sure you don't need me to explain what a thermal camera does right?" Zach questioned and received a shake of the head from the couple.
"Okay, then, to begin with, we have a video clip that shows a series of events. " Zach said as he clicked to play the video.
The couple watched closely as the video started playing.
It was the video from the camera stationed in the basement and showed Zach walking in and setting the EMF on the floor before him asking if Jack could let Zach know if he was there by lighting the EMF up by touching it.
The couple watched as it lit up in response.
"It almost immediately did what you asked. " David said as he thought about how obedient Jack was.
"That's not all though, just wait. " Zach said and he anticipated the next incident.
Hearing Zach the couple watched as Zach thanked Jack and asked if he could make a noise or move something.
Soon after he asked for a sign, they saw the basement lights turned on.
"Yeah, lights turning on or off happen down there. " David remembered when the lights were shut off on him down there.
Zach didn't reply and just waited for them to witness the next incident.
They watched as Zach was surprised and asked Jack if it was he who turned the lights off and immediately Jack replied yes.
"Wow, that was Jack. " Sarah said when she heard him confirm he turned the lights on.
The video continued with Zach reacting to Jack's voice and asking him if it was him before he approached the light switch and heard him react to something on the thermal before he asked if Jack could turn the lights off.
The couple watched as the lights switched off and Zack thanked Jack for doing it for him.
"Let's pause here, for now, more things do happen here with me but I want to break down what we have so far. " Zach said as he paused the video.
"So the EMF goes off when I ask, the light turns on and off when I ask and a voice that didn't come from me and there was no one else in the house with me replied to me confirming that he was the one that did it." Zach listed with his fingers as he reviewed what they just saw.
"This is just the start of the investigation and so many intelligent interactions are happening and being captured."
Zach was excited about showing what he experienced to them.
"Yeah, it's cool seeing it on video, and not personally experiencing it for once. " David replied jokingly.
David got a couple of laughs before Zach moved on and opened an audio file.
"Listen to this, We cut that audio from the video and enhanced it so you can hear it better."
Zach replayed the audio a couple of times.
'So they hear me exactly how I was when I was alive.' Jack thought as he listened to his voice and didn't think there were any differences.
He was right with them curiously watching the evidence that the crew got.
"Now, I don't know if you know this but normal voices aren't this clear, this voice sounds like there is someone else in the room with me, a normal voice would be much harder to make out and be sometimes unintelligible. " Zach tried to explain how fascinating a voice of this clarity was to them.
The couple listened closely as he spoke.
"This is undoubtedly one of the clearest voices I've ever heard, so much so that people would doubt if there was someone else in this house with me here." Zach continued with a serious face as he tried to convey how important this evidence is for them.
"Anyways let's move on back to the video to see what happens next." Zach saw that they understood and so he moved past it to show them something that had been captured on camera for the first time for them.
Zach brought the video back up and pressed play.
They watched as Zach asked if Jack could make something float and then react to a cold breeze before the EMF started going crazily lighting up and floating up off the ground for a few seconds before dropping, causing the Zach in the video to turn toward the sound.
Zach paused there.
"We've had things thrown at us from off-screen but never have we caught an object float upward with nothing around it and then fall on demand. " Zach explained to them.
"It's really amazing as the EMF starts lighting up crazily as it happened meaning that it detected something touching it that produced that energy." James added and the other members nodded.
"Yeah, we see stuff like this happen all the time here I'm glad you guys got to experience and capture it on video."
Sarah said as she remembered all the floating objects like the plates and groceries she had seen.
"Fortunately, this is not all that happens in the basement, I have something even more amazing to show you." Zach said excitedly as he brought up another video file.
