A few hours later As Jack was thinking about how to gain more experience now that he was so close to leveling, he heard the front door open.
Jack, you up from his laying position on the couch and turned to look down the hallway.
Sarah with arms full of groceries blocking her view awkwardly opened the door and then shut it with her foot.
Jack knew right away what he had to do when he saw her.
He stood up and met Sarah halfway to the kitchen, he then inwardly prayed he had enough energy to carry these heavy-looking groceries.
Jack focused on his hands and grabbed the groceries out from Sarah's hands and immediately hurried to the kitchen, he didn't even have the time to look at Sarah's dumbfounded face.
Sarah was stunned when she felt a force take hold of her groceries, taking them out of her arms before they floated quickly toward the kitchen.
She only woke up when the groceries moved out of her sight.
She quickly followed and watched as Jack set the groceries on the counter.
"Thank you for the help, Jack," Sarah said to the air in the direction of the groceries.
She had a blank face as she said that and moved to start putting them away.
Jack would have continued helping her but just carrying those groceries drained him way too much so he could only watch her stoically do her chore.
Sarah tried her best to put on a mask of indifference.
She didn't want Jack to know he affected her just in case he does more just to get her to give a reaction.
She didn't realize that the more she tried to hide her emotions, the more Jack would want her to make her snap.

The day passed as Sarah did some chores around the house and Jack periodically watched her, got bored, watched TV, got bored, and wandered the house.
He did such a sequence multiple times.
Eventually, Jack watched Sarah leave the house.
He figured it was time to get Angelica.
When he thought of Angelica he was reminded of the plush bear.
'!!!!' Jack was struck with a great idea.
Jack went over to Angelicas you area and focused his will on his hands while grabbing the bear.
Jack picked it up and carried it to the front door before dropping it a few feet in front of it, he made sure to have it sit on its butt and make it face the door directly.
Thankfully the bear was light and didn't cost him as much energy as the groceries earlier.
'This will be good.' Jack sinisterly thought with expectation as he waited for who he hoped was David to come home first.

A little while later.
Unfortunately, although David did come home, he came with Sarah and Angelica.
Jack was immensely disappointed so he didn't do his follow-up plan of possessing the doll and messing with David.
As the door opened Angelica ran in but stopped immediately to look curiously at the bear.
Sarah and David walked in behind her and saw their daughter stop suddenly while looking down.
Angelica just so happened to block their view of what she was looking at.
As the couple moved closer worried about their daughter, they saw it.
David paled in fright and Sarah as she saw the doll and then David's reaction to it had a look of mirth on her face.
"Mommy, did you put Mr. Teddy here?" Angelica asked as she walked up to the doll and picked it up.
David's fave couldn't get any paler when he saw her approach and pick the doll up.
He almost screamed at her to put it down but stopped himself before he could.
He couldn't overreact, he had to be cool, calm and collected.
He thought to himself like he was trying to hypnotize himself and make him believe it.
"No, maybe Jack knew you would want to play with him as soon as you came home so he waited for you here with it." Sarah made up a scenario for her daughter.
David glared at her for allowing a creepy doll to be near their daughter but he didn't want to be unreasonable so he shut up.
"He did?!?! Yay!! Let's play Jack!" Angelica excitedly ran to the living room.
"No running in the house!" Sarah reprimanded her but she could only smile wryly as her daughter didn't listen this time.
Angelica was too lost in the excitement.
A ghost and the couple followed her to the living room.
Jack was curious about how Angelica was gonna play with him.
The trio soon entered the living room and Jack saw that Angelica was setting up tea so he guesses they were going to have a tear party.
Although reluctant he didn't want to disappoint a kid, so he waited for her to set up the tea party and sat in the only empty seat that he assumed was for himself.
The couple watched her, David was worried and Sarah was curious if Jack would actually play along with her.
"Would you like some tea Mr.Teddy?" Angelica asked and then nodded like she had received a reply before pretending to pour tea from the teapot.
After that, she moved over to Jack and asked him.
"Would you like some tea?"
Jack didn't know if she was expecting an answer so he hesitated.
Luckily she answered for him by doing the same thing she did for Mr.Teddy.
After pouring Jack tea she went to her spot and pretended to pour herself tea before she raised her cup fancifully with a linky raise and said,
"Cheers!" She pretended to take a sip and then looked toward Jack expectantly.
Jack saw her look at him with stars in her eyes, so he could only use a bit of energy to lift the cup and then tilt it to pretend to drink it.
Angelica saw this and smiled brightly.
The couple looked on with mixed emotions.
They were happy that Angelica was happy but her current playmate was someone they didn't and couldn't possibly know.
