Forth was cold to Javin all the way home. He immediately locked himself in his room and didn't come out at all, even though there were still documents that Javin had to revise and then reproduce for a meeting in three more days.
Javin knocked on Forth's bedroom door softly. "Phi, are we going to work on document revisions for a meeting with a client from Brazil?"
No answer was heard. Javin waited and knocked again louder. When there was still no answer, he grabbed the door handle and turned it. Unlocked.
Forth's room was dimly lit when Javin came in and the balcony door was flung open. Javin crossed the room and saw Forth sitting on the sofa in the corner of the balcony, reading a book, or pretending to read a book, because Javin stood on the balcony threshold for five minutes and Forth remained silent without turning the book in his lap.
The evening breeze blows gently, slightly damp and warm. Javin approached Forth.
"Phi," called Javin.
