That hurt. The grip the Alpha has on me almost made my bones crack. My wolf whimpered inside of me and I continued to be dragged in silence.
"What the fuck makes you think you can escape?" He growled madly, trying to keep his anger down. The way his jaw tightened and his blazing eyes told me he was beyond raged, when was he ever not? I was a very snarky push-over but I didn't say that he didn't deserve it. He did.
"It won't hurt if I tried," I commented back as he clutched my wrist, even more, my blue-grayish eyes took in the ripples of his muscles when he fast-walked with me trailing behind him.
"Well, it will when you receive your punishment." I almost collapsed as waves of fear tugged my body inside. He would return me to that awful room. I wouldn't let it happen, even if I died, I wouldn't let this happen.
"No." He stopped completely, I bumped into his back then took a step away like a scared pup. His eyes dilated in complete wrath.
"This is the last time you will ever say no to me." He seethed as he walked to me and stared in ire at me, I flinched at the intensity of his mad stare and nodded weakly as he grabbed my wrist even tighter, a crack sounded and I was sure my wrist would take faster to heal.
The girl who saved me from a stranger Wildcrest pack Alpha was terrorized as the Alpha barged into the room and took me out of there quickly. Even, the Alpha of the Wildcrest pack knew that he visited and they greeted each other with a nod as we both left the pack.
We entered the mansion and he stopped, I hugged him back trying to console him, he relaxed a bit to my touch but pulled my arms away from him, turning to take his time in glaring at me.
"Go to your room, I will be there shortly." He ordered and I walked with my head down. I guess I would never know what the punishment is, I stepped to a different room this time which was the library and greeted the old woman.
"Can I stay here and read, please?" I pleadingly asked and she gave me a nice smile as she nodded.
"Sure, young lady." She nodded, old women were very soft hearted and comforting in a way.
I stayed over for half an hour, reading historical fiction, completely dazed at Pride and Prejudice's whirlwind of emotions.
"Where is Destalia?" The old woman pointed at me and the Alpha took his time striding over to me.
"I told you to wait for me in your room, did I not?" He sassed darkly and I made his breath catch when I set the book beside and held his hand.
"You're that little boy in my dreams, right?" I had been thinking about it. It was three am and yet, we were here in a library with no sleep at all. The boy seemed familiar.
It was him.
"What boy? Who did you see?" My successful attempt at making him forget the punishment made me feel relieved.
"It was you who was tortured as a little boy, who was tied to a metal pole getting whipped by an old man." I broke down a wall of his many built-in walls as his shoulders dropped and he gazed tiredly at me.
"I guess, that was me." He sat beside me and I sat on his lap, straddling him, he stilled then relaxed, rubbing circles on my hand that intertwined with his, it wasn't his fault he had his real devils, it was mine for not understanding him better.
"How did you have dreams about me?" He asked with raised eyebrows, he looked adorable when he appeared confused. His full lips were craving my attention.
"I don't know, it's either the moon Goddess or my wolf ability," I concluded and he stiffly nodded, rubbing his eyes sleepily.
"Alpha?" He hummed at me, willing me to ask.
"How come you don't have a name?" I narrowed my eyes in confusion and he gave me a sad look.
"I do but it's a secret that I won't tell, my name could end my pack and I can't risk that." Was it that ugly of a name? I couldn't decipher what he meant but I let it go seeing his red sleepless eyes.
"Okay, let's go sleep," I said, smiling back. I got it all now in place, I knew why he was acting that way, I used to read psychology book, it was because the way he was treated as a kid that made him have anger problems or loss in expressing.
"Aren't you getting off of my lap so I could stand?" He snapped me out of my thoughts and I giggled at him, his eyes got lost in my eyes in a colorful pool.
"Your giggle is really cute." He complimented as I blushed.
"You are really cute too." His eyes went down to my lips as he licked his. We both leaned in, getting bothered with the tension, the kiss was perfect; short and simple.
We strolled in comfortable silence to the rooms upstairs in the wide mansion with a smile that graced both of our faces. He was not bad, he just did bad things but that doesn't identify who he was.
I really wanted to know his name, maybe I could do his hateful pack a favor. I was going to know who was she that Alpha slipped on. There was something very wrong and I was more than willing to find out.
