His hurricane eyes beautifully looked into mine when I entered the room with a tired face and no appetite. I wanted to desperately go out for a run today because I hadn't had time to run when I shifted. Lace was nagging me to do so.
I avoided him like a plague, he was the one who chose to treat me like I was dirt on his shoe. I concentrated on the plate that had bacon strips and eggs with hash browns on the side and a glass of orange juice, we were the only ones in the mansion, the spacey hall made me even more stressed than I already was.
"I would like to go for a run now," I announced and he put his fork down, sighing at me.
"Okay, I will run with you." My irritation level went up to the maximum so I pushed the plate away and went outside, not replying to him.
I shifted outside and saw that horrifying field again, it was a cry of destruction, it had every head outside and my wolf took the surroundings around the forest before running.
A big brown wolf joined me, it was the Alpha. My eyes took in how huge his wolf was and his eyes took in my wolf too. We raced around for two hours until we stopped to rest beside the river. The tall trees provided the most astounding scenery with the sun in between and the river. It was beautiful.
Much to my good luck, I had my big sweater so I went behind the tree and shifted back, breathing heavily with sweat on my forehead and my neck, I put on the sweater and went to the Alpha as he stood with his glistening smooth chest and his eight packs. If his personality was friendly, he would have been even more attractive.
My wolf kept wanting to get closer to our mate but I refused. He took away our first kiss and just went off like he was a serial killer. That was immature.
After moments of silence and us standing away from each other, he talked.
"It's time to go back to the mansion, I have work to do." He muttered and I complied, I hated when I was alone in the room. It made me want to think more about my family.
"Can I have someone to talk to inside my room?" His eyes slightly softened until it darkened again. It seemed like he was having a conflict with himself.
"No, you will stay in that room alone or you'll be punished." He hotly concluded and I followed him back to the jail he called a mansion.
His back was an attractive view but when he frowned at me the moment he opened my room's door, all attractiveness flew out the window.
"What kind of a mate are you?" I insulted with an angry tone of voice and he stepped closer to me, his eyes went black, making me step back until my back hit my bedroom door.
"The deadly one." With that, he returned to his office, my heart beat with the rhythm of the wind slapping the trees. I wanted out and I was going to get it even if he punished me.
I saw a small window inside the bathroom so I opted for that as my escape since I was thin anyway.
"Here we go," I whispered as my two legs fitted the small window and I slowly clutched the window as I step down to a fire exit ladder, walking down quickly until I was free. I breathed in the musky scent of the earth and with a happy victorious smile, I went along the fields of my new pack's territory.
The alarms went off and I panicked, running as fast as I can to the forest until my forehead hit a hard chest. The familiar scent of my mate made me squeal in fright and I stepped away, turning to run the other way, he madly grabbed me and lifted me on his shoulder.
"I warned you, you didn't listen so I will have to punish you in the most painful way." I wasn't scared because I knew he couldn't possibly do anything that would harm me, I was his mate.
I gulped when I saw a strictly locked room being opened and he pushed me inside, the moment I was inside, ghosts terrorized me and I screamed as the room went dark, the only light bulb going on and off, I whimpered as I hugged my knees.
"No, stay away!" I screamed when a wolf tried to hit me in the face, my throat felt scratchy and my wolf was scared of me. My tears gushed down my cheeks in horror. Who would do that to his mate? He was a deadly Alpha, if he could put up with his mate being tortured like that, he could do anything to his pack.
I clutched my throat as I tried to breathe during my panic attack, I closed my eyes and swayed myself, willing the wolves to stay away. The tiny space was deafening, I wanted to get out.
"Please, let me out." I pleaded in a hushed voice, sobbing my eyes out. "Please!" I shouted as I banged the door with all my might, a wolf with four eyes re-appeared again and my throat went off in a bloodcurdling scream. God, forgive me for I have sinned.
I was ready to hurt myself until the lights came on and my sweaty agonized face was revealed to a girl with auburn hair, she hushed at me as she embraced me.
"I was-was going to die." I sobbed with my wolf and her. She soothingly rubbed my back and let me out quietly. She was going to get into trouble with me. I couldn't let anyone suffer like I just did.
Sensing my hesitancy, she shook her head at me.
"Alpha ordered me to." That convinced me and I found myself shakily walking to my torturer.
My so-called cruel mate.
