Next day morning, Adam is waiting in the interrogation room for author Jeff, he is tapping his foot continuously. He doesn't know why the name of the book and information about the author giving him creepy vibes. Yesterday he went to his house and searched about Jeff, indeed he got much information about him, but he still feels something is off. And also, in the book Evaporation, the killing scenes are intense than the real crimes scenes. And the pictures of the dead bodies which he received from the chief are making him nervous. He just closed his eyes and thinking, then he hears a door creaking sound.
He opens his eyes and looks towards the door, both head officer Stephen and author Jeff are standing there, they come in and Jeff sits in the seat in front of Adam. There is table between their seats and a lamp is placed on the right side of the table. It's fully enclosed room there is no way out except the door. Stephen just gets out of the room after leaving Jeff. Adam looks at Stephen who just left room and shifts his gaze towards Jeff who is already at him. Jeff's Gaze is giving him goosebumps, his gaze is so strong that he can't make eye contact with him.
Adam then starts to speak, " How are you author?"
Jeff just smiles and slightly nods his head and said, " I'm good." Adam is keenly watching his every move, his dark deep blue eyes, his perfect jawline, his well combed black hair, everything about him is screaming that he is a principled man. ' It seems like you already know why you are here." Adam said. Then Jeff replies,
"Yeah, I know "
" I know that you're suspicious of me"
" I know that you're thinking I'm the killer"
"And I also know that you're afraid of me"
Jeff said the last sentence with an evil grin, while looking towards Adam. While Adam just wondered how come Jeff know about his feeling. Then Adam says, " No I'm not afraid of you". Jeff just smirks and says, " Oh really, but you're always afraid of me doll, don't you remember me?"
Adam just freezes by his sentence, his head started to pain, and some vivid images and sounds are heard by him, but he doesn't know what it is. Then, Adam suddenly rises from his seat and marches towards Jeff and grabs him by collar. He doesn't know how this Jeff connected to his past, but he always has nightmare in which a person always calls him as doll.
"Who are you?" Adam asked Jeff, Jeff just jerks off Adam hand and says, "I'm the killer you're searching for, I'm the one who killed those three persons." Adam widens his eyes; he doesn't expect this. Even though he is suspicious of Jeff he didn't expect that jeff will accept this himself soon.
"What? "Adam asks, Jeff just smiles and says, " I'm saying the truth, I'm the killer you are searching for, and I just killed all of them to reach you, to meet you and now you see I'm standing in front you." and he again adds " I'm so happy that I finally found you, my doll." Adam is processing whatever Jeff said, he has no idea what is going on, but he knows one thing that Jeff knows something about him which he himself don't know or we can say that he doesn't remember.
