Looking outside from the gape of his door, Azreal observe for any possible enemy waiting in the hall way as he still didn't know if only, these two maids were involved in this attack or more were participating in this traitorous act.
With tense gaze he looked around but didn't found anyone suspicious or things out of its place.
' Atleast no ones waiting outside ' thinking optimistically he felt a little better.
Letting out a relief breath he walked out with great care as he still had a little bit of doubt inside his heart that their could be hidden danger lurking behind any of the other four rooms on this floor.
So to be on the safer side he slowly went forward and started checking it by himself. Not wanting to deal with anymore surprises that could cost his life.
First he opened the one near his master bedroom, that was his fathers study room or it could be said it was his study room now but was never used by the previous Lucas.
Standing at the entrance he looked at study room filled with all kinds of books and papers placed in the book shelf or on the study table but didn't found anyone inside it, so he closed it and went for the other ones, with same seriousness on his face.
Keeping his all five senses on high alert he surveyed the other remaining three bed room's, and fortunately didn't found anybody in any of those room's on this floor, taking a load off his shoulders.
Leaning on the wall to rest a few sec he wiped out the sweat on his forehead and finally felt a little relieve after the attack incident.
" this body is sure weak for its age..." He said while he watched his hands shivering from all the exertion it went through just now.
Even though he felt his body improved when he got his new soul core, his body was still weak to be in such intense atmosphere. If not for the killer mouse killing Maria he was not confident that he could have won against those two maid with his frail body.
~Squeak~
" No I can't relax... we still need to check downstairs too.. " He rejected the cute squeak of the killer mouse, that looked like it was worried for him.
' It doesn't have much high intelligence, but sure follows my lead properly ' Azreal thought inside his head as he observe the killer mouse, which was now licking its front claws with it tongue.
Even though it was just a experiment project for him, Azreal was still beyond impress by the little fellow and was really looking forward to know new thing about his new powers.
" Right.. enough resting... and lets go downstairs.... " Finally able to stop his shivering he stood straight and started walking towards the stairs leading downwards.

Seeing its master finally stopped leaning on the wall and was moving forward it followed behind excitedly with its small legs.

Carefully opening the door to his dinning hall he became quite surprise by what he saw inside the hall. And above else he understood the reason behind the bizarre situation outside the dinning hall.
When previously Azreal reached downstair he thought that he would see another assailant involve in this attack so he prepared his mind to face any suprise attack but what he found out even after searching some rooms was nothing but silent itself, infact he didn't even see a single servant doing their work.
For a moment he even thought that he was the only one inside the mansion for some mysterious reason, but now seeing all the servants fainted on the chair of the huge dining table he discard that notion out of his head.
' Did those two cause all of this to them ?' Thinking that Azreal went on high alert.
Moving slowly with careful steps he went near the closest men servant fainted on the chair, and placed his fingers near his nose to check his breath.
" He is not dead but close..., his breathing his slowing down gradually.."
Checking the first victim he went around and started doing the same with every servant in the dining hall.
' hmm..., out of sixteen people five are already dead and eleven are in critical condition ' Conclusion was infront of him, which was not looking good for the servant.
" I don't know what poison was given to them but i one think i am sure was that the remaining eleven will die within one-two hours " The poison was like a sleeping pill which will kill you in your sleep.
' But the weird part is were is Alfred ?... is he in any other room or is he also involve in it ' Among all the servants inside the dining hall his butler was the only missing one.
Even jack the guard, who was always around Alfred was among the remaining eleven surviving servants, but the old man was missing from the scene.
' na I shouldn't judge the old man.. based on the situation only..., he is an old employee of the house..., lets give him the benefit of doubt for now.. ' Azreal was having doubt about the old man but didn't came to any conclusion just yet, for the service he did for the past Lucas he was willing to trust old man for now.
" Okey !..., Now that i have checked all the rooms.., lets deal with that psycho maid and finally find out the secret behind all this shenanigan " Azreal pity the servants before him but couldn't do anything about it as he didn't had any antidote on him right now.
" Well i hope that the maid has one hidden somewhere on herself or it is all over for them for sure..." Shaking his head indifferently he walked to the door, leaving behind the poor servants on their own, fainted on the table.
