Chapter 260 - Share the Happy Feeling

Human World, Japan, Kuoh.

Even though James mentioned that he had school tomorrow when Tiamat was trying to hold out for more during their negotiations, James was unable to go. After returning home, once the teleportation circle vanished, James collapsed. If it weren't for Scathach and Lady who were standing next to him, he would have slammed face first into the living room floor.

Naturally, everyone was worried for James' well-being. Surprisingly, those who went to the Familiar Forest, other than Scathach, were also just as worried. It seems they forgot what Scathach had told them about James' condition after his fight with Acnologia.

"Like I said before, after fighting Acnologia and using a power that put a great burden on his body, James as a great many fractured bones and torn muscles." Scathach said, once again explaining James' current situation. "So, once again I ask you, Shuna, can you heal him?"

"I want to, but I can't right now." Shuna said in a sad tone. "Right now, I'm exhausted from healing Tiamat-San. I've never healed a being that large before, so I used up too much stamina."

"Are you saying that I am at fault?" Tiamat asked with a frown on her face.

At the same time, everyone who did not go to the Familiar Forest was surprised when the beautiful newcomer responded to the name "Tiamat."

"I'm not saying that it's your fault, Tiamat-San." Shuna replied. "I'm just saying that I need to rest before I can do anymore healing."

"Hmph!" Tiamat snorted before looking away in annoyance.

"Um... Did she just say... 'Tiamat-San'?" Sona asked with her eyes wide open.

"That's right, Sister of Leviathan." Tiamat said. "Is there an issue?"

"Stop intimidating my fiancée, Tia." James said weakly.

"Tia?" Tiamat exclaimed with a frown on her face. "First, I do not appreciate you shortening my name at your convenience. And second, you are in no position to be ordering me to do anything."

"Seeing as you're my familiar, I think I have that right." James said. "And Tia is more endearing. Not to mention it's cuter."

"Maybe I'll kill you right now and take everything that you call a treasure." Tiamat said with a scowl.

"Crom, would you mind helping Tia fit in around here?" James asked.

As soon as he did, Crom Cruach appeared in front of Tiamat with a burst of speed pressing his right fist into his left palm with an eager expression on his face.

"Tch!" Tiamat Clicked her tongue in irritation. "Battle hungry maniac."

"I've always wanted to fight you, Tiamat." Crom Cruach said with a smile on his face. "I wonder how your flames compare to mine."

"No." Tiamat said bluntly. "I'm not fighting a lunatic like you. Someone, show me to my bedroom. I'm going to sleep, since that murderous dragon interrupted my slumber earlier."

After that, Tiamat began to walk away while everyone just watched her leave. Eventually, Sona adjusted her glasses before following her. Then, she led Tiamat to the last available guest room in the mansion.

"*Sigh* At full capacity again, huh?" Leona said. While shaking her head. "I guess I'll talk to Lana about getting the house expanded again."

Meanwhile, Rias was contacting Asia, since Shuna was in no condition to heal James at the moment. When she got the confirmation that Asia was okay with healing James, Rias sent Akeno to pick her up at Issei's house. After about ten minutes, Akeno's teleportation circle appeared in the living room. Accompanying her was Asia, who everyone expected to see, as well as Issei and Irina.

"Holy shit!" Issei exclaimed. "Senpai getting beat up was true!"

"No, I didn't get beat up." James replied while rolling his eyes. "I over did it and hurt myself while beating up Acnologia."

"You fought Acnologia?" Skiadrum's voice rang out from a glowing blue circle on the back of Issei's right hand.

"Yeah, made him run away, too." James replied with a smile. "If I could have used even one [Boost], he would have been dead."

"Who's Acnologia?" Issei asked curiously. "I mean, he must be strong if Senpai had to make himself end up like that, right?"

In response to Issei's question, Skiadrum and Irene took turns introducing Acnologia to those who did not know his story. After a few minutes asking questions, everyone was amazed at everything Acnologia had done centuries ago.

"So, you were the one who killed him the first time, Ophis-Chan?" Koneko asked while nibbling on a chocolate bar.

Ophis, while also nibbling on a chocolate bar, took some time to think. Then, after about thirty seconds or so, she tilted her head cutely, while maintaining her expressionless face, and answered the question.

"Maybe?" Ophis replied, not really recalling the event.

"Well, do you remember how many ants you've stepped on in your lifetime?" James asked while Asia treated him.

Hearing that, everyone could understand, even if a little bit, why Ophis could not recall her fight, no, judging by Ophis expression and lack of memory on the event... She probably swatted him away casually and accidentally killed the Evil Dragon.

A few minutes later, Asia was done with her healing. For which, James thanked her sincerely. Like he had been saying, he had school tomorrow. Not that he minded missing it, but school was preferable to being laid up in bed until his natural healing factor took care of his injuries.

After a bit more small talk, during which, Sona returned from leading Tiamat to the bedroom she would be using, Akeno teleported Issei, Asia, and Irina back home. Then, Dante and Lady also left and returned to Devil May Cry. After he group talked a bit longer. During that time, Akeno returned. Eventually, everyone decided that it was time for bed. As everyone made their way out of the living room, James was stopped by Leona and Cassiel.

"What's up?" James replied after his parents asked him to stay.

"The thing is..." Cassiel said nervously.

"Oh, come on, Cass." Leona said while rolling her eyes. "Why are you getting nervous talking to your son?"

"This is a big deal." Cassiel said with beads of sweat rolling down his forehead.

"*Sigh* You were just like this when you finally asked me to marry you." Leona said in an exasperated tone. "You said you wanted to be the one to tell him, so spit it out already."

James was thoroughly confused by his parents' conversation. He could tell that it was not bad news. But other than that, he had nothing to make a guess from. So, he decided to wait for them to tell him what they wanted to say.

"Well... You see... The thing is..." Cassiel continued to stammer while his nevers got even worse due to Leona's stare.

"Oh, for goodness' sake." Leona said, even more exasperated. "James, you're gonna be a big brother."

"Leona, I was just about to say it." Cassiel whined.

"Then, you should've said it." Leona barked back.

While Cassiel and Leona went back and forth about Cassiel's inability to speak, James' mind shut down for a moment. A few moments. No, James' mind had a hard shut down and a long reboot time. Finally, after a minute or two, he was able to hear his parents' bickering again.

"How long?" James asked in a shaky, yet excited voice.

"Huh?" Cassiel and Leona replied, surpirsed by James interrupting their arguement.

"How long have you known? How far along are you?" James asked in a decidedly more excited tone. "Is it a boy, or a girl? Have you thought about names? Do we need to...?"

"Whoa, slow down Sweetie." Leona said with a smile. "One question at a time."

Meanwhile, Cassiel exhaled a sigh of relief.

"You're taking this better than I thought you would." Cassiel said, putting a smile on his face as well.

"I told you there was nothing to worry about." Leona said. "I told you about how well he took care of Kunou, right?"

"Yeah, I know. But I couldn't help it." Cassiel said with awry smile. "You know how I get when it comes to things like this."

"Yeah, you and emotional things just don't mix." Leona said. "It's almost as bad as when you have to speak to a beautiful woman that you don't know."

"Hey, I've gotten better with that." Cassiel said.

In the next instant, however, Cassiel knew he said something he should not have said.

"Oh, have you?" Leona asked with her eyes narrowed. "I think we need to talk about this in more detail."

'I done fucked up.' Cassiel thought when he saw Leona's expression.

"You two can talk about adding another wife later." James said, interrupting his parents. "Can you answer my questions about the baby?"

Cassiel and Leona could not help but look at James in shock when he spoke.

'How did he know I wanted Cass to take another wife?' Leona asked herself. 'I mean, I don't think I told anyone about that other than the girls when we drink in Lana's bar.'

"Well, I found out a couple days ago." Leona said, still a little shaken from James' last statement. "And the doctor said I should be almost two months along."

"Hmm..." James hummed in thought while stroking his chin. "Almost two months ago would put conception somewhere near the middle of October. Then, the baby should be due..."

James then began counting on his fingers. After a quick count, he spoke again.

"Mid to Late July, I think."

"More or less." Leona replied with a smile. "As for the gender, it's too early to tell. But we won't be finding out until the baby is born."

"Got it." James replied happily. "Well, Congratulations."

James then pulled his parents into a hug. Feeling the positive emotions rolling off of him, Cassiel and Leona smiled as they returned James' hug. However, the moment was broken when the sound of many people falling could be heard coming from the living room's entrance.

Looking over to the entrance, James, Cassiel, and Leona saw most of the mansion's residents laying in a heap on the living room floor and struggling to free themselves from the pile.

"*Sigh* You know you should have just came in and listened." James said while looking at the rest of his two peerages, as well as Rias, Sona, and the members of their peerages that live in the mansion. "It's not like I didn't feel you all hiding there. Ayame, you can come down from the ceiling, too."

A moment later, Ayame landed behind James silently with her head lowered.

"James, Uncle Cass, Auntie Leona, we're sorry for eavesdropping, but we were curious." Rias said with an awkward smile on her face.

"No, you were curious." Sona said while trying to move Rias' breasts off the back of her head. "Then, you dragged the rest of us along with you."

"Oh, don't pretend you weren't curious too, Sona." Rias said with a huff. "You were the one shushing the rest of us so you could hear."

"That doesn't change the fact that you dragged everyone to follow you." Sona said as she began to blush.

Like that, Rias and Sona continued to bicker while everyone tried to untangle themselves from the pile.

"James-Sama, I apologize for eavesdropping on your conversation." Ayame said with a strange glint in her eyes.

"I don't accept." James replied. "You need to be punished."

Hearing James cold tone, Ayame began to shudder. Then, when she looked into James' eyes, her shuddering intensified. She could see the light of sadism swirling in James' eyes and she was mesmerized.

'Is it finally the time?' Ayame asked herself. 'Will James-Sama finally have his way with me and make me regret my actions? Oh, I can't wait.'

Then, James looked away from Ayame and his expression turned back into a happy smile. Then, he wrapped his parents in another hug.

"Congratulations again, Mom, Pop." James said happily. "But for now, I have to punish this poor excuse for a kunoichi."

Cassiel and Leona could only smile wryly when they saw the way James treated Ayame. Then, their smiles grew even wrier when they saw Ayame's reaction to the term, "poor excuse for a kunoichi."

"Okay, Son." Cassiel replied. "Just don't go too overboard."

"No promises." James replied in a cold tone as he made his way over to Ayame. "Stop that shaking and follow me."

"Yes, James-Sama." Ayame said with a bright smile on her face.

Then, Ayame followed James out of the living room and up to the second floor obediently. Meanwhile, all the other eavesdroppers looked on in shock. They knew James liked Ayame too, but they didn't think this would be the event that flipped his switch.

"He's so happy." Leona said happily. "And it looks like he wants to share the happiness, I think."

"Hey, do you wanna go try and listen in?" Akeno asked with lust in her tone.

"There's no way we'll be able to hear anything with James' silencing barrier." Flora said, also curious about how this would play out.

"Actually, I think James will let us hear him this time." Akeno said. "I mean he'll probably be doing some humiliating things, right? That will turn on Ayame even more if there were people to hear it. Hell, he might even let us watch."

Hearing that, not only Akeno and Flora, but even Rias and Moka's eyes lit up. Then, they all looked at each other, made eye contact, and nodded in acknowledgement. The next moment, they all ran up towards James' room to see if they could hear what was going on.

"I'm starting to have second thoughts about liking that boy." Evangeline said with a frown on her face. "Did James make them like that, or were they always like that?"

"Oh, no. You don't have to worry." Sona said in an exasperated tone. "Those girls were always perverts."
