"W-What" Said Ferdinand

It flabbergasted Ferdinand at what had just transpired. Earlier, he was just been about to attack. The next second they pulled him back and then suddenly he heard multiple sounds in his head after a grueling crimson color gushed out of his front. Despite having a large amount of intelligence, Ferdinand was still thinking about what had just transpired, which just proves that not everyone is perfect and it also proves that, despite having a large amount of intelligence, one has to have a quick reaction time. This will serve as a wake up call to Ferdinand.

"Are you alright Commander?" Said Waylen.

"Y-Yes, both of you have my gratitude for saving me," Ferdinand said

"No problem Commander, we're just doing our job," Said Simpson

The trio then stood up and started searching further down the cave. Once they made sure that there were no more walkers, they started moving out for the mineral deposits outside of the cave. There are probably more minerals inside the cave, but this is as far as they can go, as it is the only place where the sunlight can reach it. There is a lot of stuff that isn't researched yet which includes the flashlight or an alternative a lamp and candles.

While leisurely walking out of the cave, Ferdinand observed the surroundings. The earthy smell of the forest permeates through the entire surroundings. As the warm breeze of the world flowed through the air, the trees shook with it. The soil was soft, but not soft enough for a person's foot to sink. The light of the world illuminates the surroundings, which also strikes through the moist leaves of the trees which turned into a dew and fell into the ground to serve as a nourishment for the future generations of plants.

After observing the surroundings, Ferdinand finally remembered that to check Owl's interface as suggested by Owl earlier.

Ferdinand looked through the user interface and saw that there was a new one. There was now a level up points and his level now has a number beside it. Unfortunately, after all the walkers he killed, Ferdinand was surprised to see only 12 points on the level up interface. So he asked Owl about it.

'Why do I only have 12 level up points? May you explain how this works to me?'

[FOR EVERY 1000 POINTS YOU EARN 1 POINT WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR LEVEL UP POINTS AS TO WHY THERE WAS A SPECIFIC SECTION FOR LEVEL UP POINTS AND NOT AUTOMATICALLY ADDED TO YOUR LEVEL IS BECAUSE THERE IS MORE FUTURE USES FOR THE LEVEL UP POINTS.]

'Ah I understand'

Since Ferdinand was already at the interface, he also checked the other tabs, including the quest tabs.

{Destiny Quest}

-

Once again, Ferdinand was flabbergasted by what he was seeing. Earlier, he killed one mutant walker, so why was it did not add the mutant walker to his number of kills? The destiny quest was empty. So he once again embarked on a journey in asking Owl about it.

'Why is it did not include the mutant walker that I killed in the kill count of the quest? Also, the destiny quest is empty. Furthermore, there was also the fact that it seemed like the personal focus just recently gave me a focus. Why didn't it give me one much earlier?'

[THAT'S BECAUSE THE KILL COUNT RESETS SO IT WON'T BRING UP THE PAST KILLS IN THE KILL COUNT. THE DESTINY QUEST IS EMPTY BECAUSE IT ONLY ACTIVATES DURING A PERIOD WE'RE YOUR LIFE OR LIVES IS AT STAKE AND SO AS THE FUTURE OF YOUR MISSION. AS FOR THE PERSONAL FOCUS THE ANNOUNCEMENT WAS DELAYED AND SO AS COUNTING OF THE KILL COUNT SO THAT WAS OWL'S FAUL. SO OWL HEREBY APOLOGISE TO THE USER. NEXT TIME PLEASE DO RECHECK FROM TIME TO TIME THE QUEST TO MAKE SURE IT IS UPDATING CORRECTLY.]

'I understand all is well forgiven Owl'

It seemed like to Ferdinand that this system is not also perfect. It seemed to still have some corrections. That wasn't the most important part, as he now knows some more details about the system he has. While still at the user interface, Ferdinand also checked the research tree.

Upon looking at the interface, Ferdinand was relieved to see that the Owl updated the interface, so it seemed like all, but not all, was actually working properly. Then another question bugged Ferdinand and so he once again asked Owl about it.

'Can the research tabs that I have could increase as well?'

[YES]

'That's good to know.'

Ferdinand then proceeded to look through the horizon as he admires the surroundings
