Mahabir's Anger
Mahabir Prasad is angry with his son. How could his son do that to him? How could his only son had shown the audacity of disobeying him? How could he went to the hospital to bring that woman and that wretched girl? Now he is more angry on his son. It may be his fault too. He could not even impregnate his wife in a proper manner so that she could give birth to a son.
His nostrils are red in anger. Whenever he was his very fair face turned red immediately. He is angry now too. With everybody. With his daughter-in-law, his son, even with his wife. His wife must encouraged that bastard son of her disobey his old father.
What is a dsughter to a family? Simply a burden. You have to get rid of her as soon as possible but only with lavish amount of dowry. Mahabir Prasad had three girls in whose marriage occassions he had to mortgage even his ancestral home. Even if all of his daughters got married in an well-to-do affluent family, but since then he started to hate the idea of having another girl child in the family.
"Fufffff...." He make a gesture of disgust and holds his 'chadi' (stick) strongly in his right man. Let his son comes in this house only once, he will beat him up. Just like he always beat him in his son's childhood whenever he came home late or failed in his examination. With a shrude smile on face Mahabir Prasad is waiting for his son to come to meet him.

day her husband got so angry with her that he threw burning kerosene lamp on her. Luckily she did save her by ducking to her left side. But in an instance whole room got on fire. Even if for this incidence Mahabir Prasad was scolded and threatened hard by his parents, but till today he fails to change his nature.
Savitriji is praying to God for the wellbeing of her son, her daughter-in-law and her only granddaughter. She loves her 'Bahu' (daughter-in-law) very much for her sweet and sober nature. And she feels an attraction towards her granddaughter even if she could not see her face. She is in despair and praying hard so that everything goes right from now on.
