[This chapter is for future reference and knowledge of the characters and settings of the novel. I'll be using this as a reference for future chapters so read at your own risk. Spoilers duh.]
{Worlds}
- Earth (As the world we live in and the only planet we know with life). Everything is the same, continents, celebrities, mangas, manwhas, and everything.
-Rath'Nia: This is the new world the students get transported into. It has every magical being/god Earth would believe to be fantastical but in truth hidden in another reality.
{Continents}
- The Pantheons: (I'll be combining pretty much every pantheon out there, but as I said before, I'll be doing it in my own take) Greek, Norse, Japanese mythology, Buddhism, Christianity, and Korean mythology. Although separate, they all reside within the world of Rath'Nia as continents.
{Dimensions}
[Still, in the world of Rath'Nia these places are just in separate pocket dimensions.
- The Heavens: (Albeit like in Christianity, it's more or less my take on what heaven is, and would be completely separate from the religion). The perfect resting place for the souls of the innocent and chivalrous warriors. The land is filled with large white clouds and caters to the soul's every need. Whatever they desire will manifest but only if the soul is pure. Angels are the sole residence of this place, they help organize, guide, and protect new souls who arrive. Souls who want to live again can reincarnate through trials, but only if they're deserving.
- The 9 Hells: A place where the dead who committed sins unforgivable go, to repent and reincarnate back into the world. Upon reincarnating they get sent back to Earth to live as normal humans, forgetting about the world of Rath'nia. Demons are the residents of the 9 hells, and unlike the angels, they torture the souls of hell until they are free of their sins.
-Oblivion: A realm of complete mystery. Nothing is known about oblivion, some call it the abyss, or the dark realm, but what's most important is that monsters come out of that realm and invade other worlds.
{Mana}
-Mana: The energy source in the entire universe
-Magic: The basic ability to use mana. Every person in the world of Rath'Nia is able to use magic.
-Divinity: A form of mana, denser and has holy attributes. Most are used by Gods, but spirits and blessed beings can use them as well. Divinity has capabilities mana usually can't do and oftentimes can create miracles that are impossible or illogical.
-Miasma: the complete opposite of divinity. A form of mana filled with unholy attributes. Just like divinity, it can create miracles but with a price. Miasma is magic used by demons and evil beings.
-Aura: A physical manifestation of mana attributed to most warriors. A form that connects logic and understanding; enhances the physicality of the user.
-Sorcery: Mana refined and condensed, more powerful than magic but weaker than divinity. Although weaker than divinity, the use of sorcery is nigh limitless. Divinity requires faith and belief, whilst sorcery is mana bent to one's will.
{Races}
Going from strongest to weakest
-World trees: Planet-size trees that embody the cycle of life and death for living planets. There are two on each planet, each taking a role to filter good and evil. Every world tree is born as a set of two, and can only be created with primordial material.
-Primordials: Beings created since time memorial
-Dragons: Beings that manifested after the primordials. Their power can not be rivaled by any being except for the primordials and ancient gods. They're great beasts of intelligence and are strong enough to bend reality. They can use all types of magic including divinity and aura. Albeit powerful, their one weakness is their desires. Dragons have desires thousands of times stronger than any race, and they would do anything in their power to obtain them.
-Dragoons/Divine beasts: Half-dragons or dragons who bred with other species. Although they're part dragons, their power is weakened due to being a half-breed. Divine beasts were created by dragons for use or by pure concentrations of mana that lingered for thousands of years.
-Gods: Beings manifested from the prayers of humanity or the universe's will. They're beings that keep the balance of the world.
-Angels: Beings birthed from the dimension of heaven. They are being with pure goodwill and have a beauty that transcends most beings. There are ranks of angels ranging from Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominions, Virtues, Powers, Principalities, Archangels, then angels. Each rank has a corresponding role in heaven that help secure the safety of the souls and treasures.
-Spirits: living mana born from nature. Beings with humanoid bodies that take parts of the element they were born in. Spirits have a hierarchy of kings consisting of the 6 elements: Light, Darkness, Water, Fire, Earth, and Nature. Spirit kings govern the elements and nature alongside elves.
-Demigods: Gods that bred with other species. Although gods, their power is only half of their god parents.
-Demons: The keepers of hell, not necessarily evil, but torturers that help sinners reincarnate back to Earth. Demons have a hierarchy of Kings, each corresponding to the seven sins. Wrath, Greed, Gluttony, Sloth, Envy, Lust, and Pride. These beings judge hell alongside Hades, Hel, and Yeomra. Contrary to belief Hell is modernized to make sure physical pain isn't the only way to rehabilitate sinners.
-Elves/Dwarves: Elves are born from the leaves of the world tree, they take care of the forests and communicate with the world trees. Dwarves are born from the planet itself. They care for minerals and are masters of the earth.
-Night walkers: beings of the night like werewolves, vampires, zombies, and skeletons. These beings are born from excess evil or miasma that has lingered for thousands of years. Beings of the night vary greatly in strength depending on the amount of miasma they have. Some beings can rival gods themselves. The most prominent races of nightwalkers are the werewolves and vampires, each having their own hierarchies.
-Beast folk: Humanoid beings with animalistic features such as mermaids, wolves, and foxes. Although some may consider wolfmen werewolves, their body is living and have no miasma.
-Humans: Beings with great potential but the weakest strength. No human being originated from Rath'Nia. Every human has once come from Earth and has been transported to Rath'Nia.
This is the overall knowledge to keep in mind. I'll be adding future references here in the future once the story gets longer and I'll be adding character stats here as well. I'll be adding new information below this paragraph so readers, be aware.
