Chapter 104 – Great Spirit of Shiva

19 years ago, few weeks after the defeat of Katashiki Otsutsuki and days after the first death of Sojobo, a pale man with white eyes, thick pointy and curvy brown horns, and wearing a black gown, was sitting with a bottle of a mystic alcohol in his hand, in a strange dimension that looks like a simple white room.
In front of him, from a black space rift, a trio of fellow members from his species and clan came to visit. They were Kinshiki Otsutsuki and Urashiki Otsutsuki, following Momoshiki Otsutsuki. The leader of the group turned his head toward the man sitting there, bottle in hand.
"Momoshiki-dono. Care to join me for a drink." the stranger invited.
"Don't be ridiculous, Inari." Momoshiki replied. "I won't touch a single drop of your brandy."
"It is a translucent fluid that I call divine water." the man adds. "Its effect on inferior minds is truly fascinating… By the way, It isn't Inari anymore. Call me Inashiki."
"Inashiki?" exclaimed Urashiki behind his master, with a mocking tone.
"What did you summon Momoshiki-sama's attention for, Inashiki?" Kinshiki demanded to spare his son's time.
Inashiki then suddenly became fully serious to explain what had happened to one of their fellows on Earth.
"Katashiki has been defeated. It is possible that he was killed." he declared, to Kinshiki and Urashiki's surprise, but not to impress Momoshiki. "He was beaten by the Rinnegan user and the yellow fox. The same who defeated Kaguya."
"Kaguya was sealed by her subjects nearly 1200 years ago." Momoshiki remarked. "Earthlings don't live that long."
"Oh, so you aren't even aware of what they call the 4th Ninja World War?" Inashiki explained. "Kaguya's descendants tried to toy with her remains and accidentally brought her back, all according to her plan apparently. However, she was still short-lived since her last heirs have sent her back where she came from in just an hour or so."
"Ridiculous. As expected from her." Momoshiki said. "An inferior life form with a Rinnegan, you said?"
"Not only a Rinnegan. A Tenjo Rinnegan, or 6-tomoe Rinnegan as you call it. It is no hyperbole to say that this individual, as well as his partner in battle, may become the worst to come out of Kaguya's crime."
"It could be an interesting power to harvest, Momoshiki-sama. But also a troublesome opponent." Kinshiki comments. "Shall we not forget that Katashiki was also a Rinnegan user."
"I was told by Katashiki, and could recently confirm, that this man, Sasuke Uchiha, will soon have an offspring." Inashiki informed them.
"Why would I care about that?" Momoshiki grumpily said.
"Oh, well. I'll have you knowing that for humans, power is mostly hereditary. A strong parent gives birth to a strong child." Inashiki explained. "Now, let's make a deal shall we? It is the reason why I invited you here. Your quest is soon to be over, isn't it? Your coming to Earth is near, and you might want to properly prepare it."
"What's the deal?" Momoshiki demanded.
"An exchange. My profit for your profit. No gifts. To make allies, no friends, no enemies. It is a golden rule to rule in our situation." Inashiki messed around before giving his terms. He raised his left arm and showed an arrow shaped mass of red hair forming a seal on the back of his hand, the same Shojo seal as Kawaki. "As you may know, I reincarnated myself in a vessel's body, but it is far from being efficient. This body is still too human for me, preventing me from reaching my full power again. What I demand is simply that you find a perfect vessel for me."
"How should I proceed?"
"Unmeishin. Your Byakugan's power. Go to Earth and find the individual whose fate is to become the perfect vessel for the Shojo. In exchange, I will tell you the exact procedure I thought of for you to take advantage of my information, and to escape the fate that the Ryu Shinsen or the Tenshin would choose for you."
"Escape my fate, huh?" Momoshiki thought aloud, remembering what he believed it to be. "I will return. Don't deceive me."
"I sure won't dare, dear Consumer of Worlds." Inashiki answered, raising his bottle in a friendly manner to salute them.
Following this meeting, Momoshiki went to Earth and found a new born child, perfect for Inashiki's use. This young boy was Kawaki. And in exchange for this finding, Inashiki gave Momoshiki the exact plan he thought of, that was to make the Uchiha's son his own. To this supposition, Urashiki added the possibility for Momoshiki to borrow the power of Kinshiki's sister, Naobi Otsutsuki. Inashiki also told the consumer of worlds about the presence of a creature called the Daitengu on Earth, that Momoshiki seemed already familiar with.
This meeting and pact, that came in consequence of Katashiki's fall, is the source event of all that then happened to Sasuke and Naruto, from Momoshiki's invasion, to Sojobo's return, and finally to Kakumei's rise. It is this meeting that sealed the fate of not only Kawaki and Oshio, but also Boruto, Izuna and his family, the lands of Heart, and the Shinobi Union as a whole.

In the present, 20 years later, this meeting has led Kawaki, the perfect Shojo wielder, to see his potential be brought to its peak and to have a final confrontation against Boruto, the embodiment of Kaguya's heritage.
After the chaotic collision that cleaned the sky and separated the land, Boruto lands on the ground, tired but unharmed, and slowly walks toward his opponent who is lying defeated on the ground. Burnt up by the recoil of his own jutsu and sliced in two from his left shoulder to his hip, Kawaki stares at the sky, empty of all strength and energy. He looks aside to see the one who defeated him approach.
"Kill me." he demands, to Boruto's surprise.
"Sorry, what did you say?" the Konoha-nin replies calmly but gladly.
"I'm defeated. Don't leave the job unfinished." Kawaki insists. "My cause is lost anyway. Even if I lived, I would only have served as an expendable for a god to spend, just like Oshio. My body isn't even my own, you won't piss me off by finishing it off. So get it done and tell your father you avenged him."
"To tell my father?" Boruto remarks, pretending not to know the truth. "You're mocking me, right?"
"Ha!" Kawaki laughs, breathlessly. "Don't play dumb. There's no way the great Naruto Uzumaki, savior of the world, new Rikudo-sennin, really ended like this. Otherwise, why is there still no 8th face on your monument? Why is Konoha so focused on freeing the Kyubi? No. He's obviously alive. He'll return, and he'll heal the world. He'll do his best to fix all our wrongs… But me, I'm done messing up, so kill me."
"Ain't no way I'm doing that!" Boruto declares, standing straight before his astonished rival. "You'll stay alive, become even stronger, get over this god that owns your body or whatever, and come back to take your revenge on me… What you just gave me was the best fight I had in my life. You motivated me to break my limits and become far more powerful than I thought I could, yet you still stood up and made me struggle. And I'm thankful for it. If I kill you now, I may never experience this feeling again. So I won't kill you, certainly not now that you're already defeated. If you want to die, you'll have to force me to do it another time."
Kawaki looks shockingly at the rival who spares his life, and wonders if what he's doing is merciful or just egoistic. Whatever it really is, he can't do anything about it now. He can only accept Boruto's plan and wait. The Hokage's son respectfully nods to salute his defeated opponent and turns around. Done with this fight, he rises up to the sky and flies to the entrance of the town where Oshio's Perfect Susanoo stands.

There, Oshio stands agape as he sees the wrong person come out as the winner of the battle. Having lost his connection to Kawaki, and being unable to sense his chakra now, he takes it as his best friend is dead. The power he felt Kawaki awake earlier was so great that it may have equaled or even surpassed his own. For the one who floats before him to have defeated him seems impossible.
Futsunushi
With his Eien no Mangekyo Sharingan, Oshio becomes aware of Boruto's newly discovered power, and clenches his teeth. He looks back and down to the battlefield where he sees that his army is also at loss. The Daimyo's guard still has 3 times more soldiers left.
"It's only me left then." Oshio tells himself, before breathing in and taking an important decision. "Izuna, Boruto Hyuga. Right now, in front of you, I will take a step past the gates of Hell. They will close behind me and forever prevent my redemption."
Futsu no Mitama
He unleashes the absorbing blade of his Susanoo and, instead of raising it toward the Konoha-nins, he lowers it, pulls it back and stabs down in the forest with it. Boruto, unsure of what this might be, uses his Byakugan's sight to see where the blade's peak landed.
"What the hell?" he exclaims, which Izuna hears.
Along the blade, they see dense red chakra flow and fill the inside of the black giant, until it's full. The red chakra burns up and turns into a deep crimson fire that flows through the armor and leaks across it, modifying its shape to fit the new power it holds.
Biju Susanoo
On the end of the Futsu no Mitama's blade is the body of Mikitaka. Oshio just extracted and absorbed the chakra of the 4 Biju he had sealed inside him to make them his own. Just like Sasuke Uchiha did at the end of the 4th war, Oshio uses his Susanoo as a vessel for the Biju's might, sparing him the need to become a jinchuriki, and granting him control over the massive power these beasts have.
Izuna understands what he's witnessing, and notices that he can't feel the chakra of Mikitaka anymore. Oshio must have killed him right now by unsealing his Biju, doing just as intended since the beginning for the temporary jinchuriki. Boruto, worried for the Kyubi who's being exploited once again, yells Izuna's name, inviting him to take action. Feeling in an emergency, Izuna lets the power of his eyes out.
Susanoo
He unleashes his white oni's complete body again in a desperate attempt to show adversity, but before he can engage, he falls to his knees and feels his vision fade away. His Byakugo seal closes as he loses his focus. Oshio sees the ethereal armor of his brother slowly fade away as soon as it appears, and exclaims.
"You should have expected this! These eyes you received are only temporary."
Refusing to give up so soon, barely able to see, Izuna clenches his fist and gathers spinning flames in it. Before he can step forward to attempt a pointless strike, Oshio raises his Futsu no Mitama again, strikes Boruto out of the way with the side of the blade, and throws it down on his brother's fading armor. The sword completely absorbs the spinning fire but most importantly, it crushes and cuts off Izuna's arm.
"This is one injury that your Byakugo won't heal." Oshio comments, with his voice resonating through his avatar.
After this mockery, the black samurai, filled with red fire, violently kicks the fading Susanoo to send it flying into the forest. Boruto, who manages to stop his fall by levitating still, brings his Gudodama to spin as a wheel in front of him. This time, he concentrates his Futon and Raiton inside them.
Futon – Daimofu (Great Bursting Extreme Winds)
From the black ring emerges a lightning coated tornado that engulfs Oshio's ultimate avatar and pushes it back. It works only for a moment before the fire filling the armor starts to crawl down the tornado to reach and incinerate Boruto. The purple coated ninja quickly absorbs those flames but is left busy enough for Oshio to strike again.
Ameno Hohi
Using his brother's visual prowess, Oshio teleports his whole Biju Susanoo in Boruto's back and raises his armor's right hand to smash Boruto to the ground before he can react. The Tenseigan user crashes next to Izuna's Susanoo that he's still holding up the best he can. The two Konoha-nins stand up side by side on the ground and see the fire of the black armor start to leak out and quickly spread through the whole battlefield.
Shinku Jigoku (Crimson Hell)
The red flames made of the Biju's chakra run through the streets of the capital across the battling armies and through the forest, completely annihilating all the trees it touches. On the battlefield, the flames don't reach Hikari's soldiers and eliminate only the entirety of what remains of the Daimyo's army, leading Kakumei's troop to an express victory.
To protect Boruto, Izuna pulls him into his Susanoo's armor. Then, Boruto fills it with his purple chakra that absorbs all the flames that get past them, limiting the carnage's range. They have no option to start an offensive, but are safe at least.
Seeing them resisting, Oshio raises his giant's foot and throws it down on his brother to stomp him down for good. Boruto and Izuna, already busy with the torrent of flames, can't take action to counter this and just close their eyes, ready to open them in the afterlife.
Okasho
Suddenly they hear the loud sound of a collision, and open their eyes again, still alive. Above the white Susanoo, they see Sakura Uchiha with her Byakugo seal fully unleashed. She just punched the foot of the mighty armor away. Behind her arrive the reinforcements of Konoha. A small army that comes too late to save the day, but in time to end the war.
"How convenient!" Oshio exclaims again, before calming down and looking at his mother.
He turns off the flames that surround the area and leaves the armies of Konoha and Kakumei to engage in combat again. He looks down at Boruto, Izuna and Sakura and swallows his saliva. It is the first time he meets his mother in person.
"Mother…" he says, sorrily. "You shouldn't have come." he adds before rapidly pushing his feet down to the ground again.
Sakura, with her chakra gathered in her hands, receives the foot and stops it bare handed to save the two younglings by her side. Boruto, to participate, pushes with his own hands and 9 Gudodama. Next to his mother, Izuna helps as well by mimicking her with his only arm left. The replacement Hokage turns around and gently looks at her son, with a smile despite the situation.
"Izuna, Happy Birthday!" she says, before getting her focus back on the task.
Izuna, who only sees her blurry with his fading eyes, is surprised by this greeting coming in such a situation. He didn't even remember what day it was, but to hear it is reassuring. Behind his mother, he clenches his teeth, full of determination, and opens his Byakugo seal again.
While putting her efforts into holding back the foot of her elder son's armor, Sakura notices the black orbs helping them. She looks aside and sees Boruto in a purple chakra mantle and blue shining eyes. She stares at him, flabbergasted for a moment, recognizing the Tenseigan that Naruto had to fight against 20 years ago.
"What happened to you, Boruto?" she asks, confused.
"Long story, madam." he replies. "How do we get outta here?"
"Um…" Sakura thinks of a plan, trying to take into account what she knows of Boruto's new eyes. "We'll hold on here. Go ahead and strike him with something big enough."
"Got that! Hold on!" Boruto exclaims before flying away with his Gudodama, making the task harder for Sakura and Izuna, but they still keep up.
"Someone needs to get Boruto's back!" Sakura yells.
Izuna behind her closes his eyes and senses the same reassuring presence that accompanied him through these last 2 months of pain. Among the troops of Konoha, he finds her. He lightly smiles and speaks in his mind, knowing that she can hear him.
"Inoue, can you do this?" he asks.
"Sure. And Happy Birthday!" she answers in his mind, before getting to work.
Sakura, feeling that Izuna and her won't hold this forever, tries to engage in conversation with the son she never spoke a word to.
"Oshio!" she yells, hoping that he hears her through the armor. "It's not too late to give up!"
"It is too late!" Kakumei's leader replies. "I have to replace what I destroyed! Only I remain to save humanity!"
"Naruto isn't dead! He can still be saved! And I'm sure Sasuke is fine as well!" she yells. "If you join us and bring them back, they can right your wrongs. They can help you! I'm sure of it!"
Oshio, reminded once again that what motivated him these last 3 months was just a misunderstanding, and annoyed by Sakura's optimism, raises his foot and pushes it down on his brother and mother again. They catch it once again, and are brought to their knees while holding it back.
"It's pointless. I've tried that already!" Izuna says to Sakura. "We need to get him out of this thing!"
Sakura looks to Izuna behind her and makes a shocked face. She sees him for the first time using the full power of his Byakugo seal. As she feels the massive chakra that flows through him, she becomes aware again of her own colossal reserve that is added to all that Tsunade gifted to her. Being both here, with all cards in hand, they may finally be able to fulfill Lady Tsunade's last wish.
"Come on, Mom!" Izuna exclaims to show his determination. "If we beat him first, he'll have to listen. We have to do it! Everything can go back to normal!"
Sakura proudly smiles at these words. Without noticing, her son just proved her right. She said these same words to him when he came back from Hikari. And she knew he'll heal and agree sooner or later.
"Izuna, you grew too fast for me!" she happily says. "You're right. Let's save your brother… I think it's time for Lady Katsuyu's ultimate summoning."
Izuna looks up at his mother with his nearly blind eyes, remembering Lady 5th's last lesson as well. He shows his determination and nods.
While Oshio pushes his foot down on his family, he looks up and sees a colossal golden blade appear before him. It is Boruto who makes use of the same mystic weapon as against Kawaki, Kinrin Tensei no Ken. Seeing this blade fall down on his Biju Susanoo, Oshio calmly blocks it with his Futsu no Mitama that perfectly counters this massive golden ray and stops it like any blade.
As he blocks Boruto's offensive, he feels many projectiles and elements hit his armor to no damage. An elite of the Sarutobi clan attempts to move him away from the Hokage with a great fire jutsu, but it has no effect.
"We can't damage this armor at all!" Mirai exclaims. "We have to reach directly for the user."
"I'm on it." Inoue tells her in her mind before getting to work.
Shinranshin no Jutsu
With this jutsu that she's slowly making her signature move, Inoue manages to reach Oshio's mind for a tiny moment, long enough to get him to ease his hold on the Futsu no Mitama and allow Boruto to push further.
Kinrin Tensei Baku
Boruto pushes his infinite blade down on the Biju Susanoo and slices through it, almost cutting it in half. The Sarutobi ninjas and Boruto look at the great colossus stepping back, leaving Sakura and Izuna free, and almost falling apart. However, taking down a Susanoo that simulates a Juubi isn't that easy.
Oshio uses the chakra of Kyubi in his armor to regenerate his Susanoo and gets it back on its feet like it wasn't hit in the first place. The giant raises one hand and shoots a rain of black rods at extreme speed, pushed by the raging blasts of the red fire, toward Boruto who barely sees it coming and is hit. He's pierced through by some of these weapons and is forced out of his Tensei Chakra Mode, falling to the ground.
Oshio, still receiving the harmless attacks of Konoha's ninjas, raises the Futsu no Mitama up to the sky and gathers chakra at its tip. By concentrating Biju chakra in an orb, he creates a Bijudama that he intends to fire down on the battlefield, in order to eliminate all his enemies at once.
Boruto's offensive failed, but it bought enough time for Sakura and Izuna to prepare theirs. The yellow haired ninja is caught by Konohamaru before hitting the ground. Almost passed out, he looks aside and smiles as he sees the massive mist cloud of a summoning jutsu appear in the forest. Oshi's attention is caught by the same noise and mess, and he also looks toward where his mother and brother are.
Kuchiyose – Shiva O Seishin (Great Spirit of Shiva)
Out from this cloud, the silhouette of a giant woman with 4 arms, appearing as a blue chakra specter with mid-long hair reaching her shoulders, a crown-like ornament around her head, and the extended black mark of the Byakugo on her body,rises and imposes its enormous size of more than 300 meters that dwarfs the 200 meters of Oshio's Biju Susanoo, who doesn't want to let this go longer.
Bijudama
Oshio, not willing to let anything surprise him anymore, lowers his sword and immediately shoots his chakra bomb right to the face of this mystical spirit. To his immeasurable surprise, the ultimate summoning of the Shikkotsu forest stops the Bijudama with its punch that it rapidly throws on the way, firmly closed.
The orb is deflected, pushed back through the Futsu no Mitama that is broken from the pit to the handle by this divine fist. Unarmed, after his offensive was crushed down, Oshio stares agape, eyes wide open, at the majestic figure and senses the perfect mix of natural, cosmic and life energy it contains. It is similar in feeling to the chakra of Naruto Uzumaki himself. The spirit throws its punch down on him. A punch so fast, dense and massive that it generates gravity, stronger than that of the Earth.
Out of options and will to resist, the fire-filled armor is pulled toward the spectral fist that hits right into and through its torso. This strike completely obliterates the Perfect Susanoo, setting free the chakra enclosed inside. The armies of Konoha and Hikari look up to this spectacle, amazed, as the red chakra gets back to shape and reveals the 4 Biju who had been sealed back to their original form and free.
The Shiva O Seishin, who's original purpose shouldn't be in battle at all, gets back to its knees and turns into a mass of chakra. The summoning of this godly power, who costed to the summoners the entirety of the chakra sealed in their Byakugo, was certainly worth the price, for the chakra summoned doesn't vanish but instead splits in two and goes to log itself in the empty seals of Sakura and Izuna. The summoners see themselves gifted with a power far greater than that of the Shodai Hokage.

The battlefield is struck by a sudden calm. The ninjas of both teams stare at Shukaku, Matatabi, Saiken and Kurama who stand where the two chakra colossi were a minute ago.
"Wow! That giant blue fire cat looks so cool!" Rebekka Tabiki exclaims, jumping on Mirai's shoulder, captivated by the sight of Nibi's fur.
The Bakeneko looks down to see the kunoichi who pointed out her beauty and lightly laughs, simply happy to be free. It is not the case of Kurama, more pissed off than anything else, who searches for the person responsible for his captivity. There, lying on the ground along the road, he sees Oshio Uchiha defeated, having given up.
"You! Shameless Brat!" he exclaims before throwing his hand down, with a claw raised forward, to pierce its target and get revenge.
Oshio lets it fall on him and closes his eyes, finally accepting death. Sakura and Izuna see the falling claw of the Kyubi and scream out for it to stop itself, but the fox refuses to hear anything. Sakura runs forward, too slow and far to get in the way. Izuna tries to follow her, but falls to his knees, as his eyes' sight finally leaves him. Everyone present just stands still, seeing Kurama about to bring an end to the ninja world's biggest enemy.
Ameno Tejikara
Oshio, who had his eyes closed, oddly doesn't feel the deadly stabbing of a giant claw. Instead he hears a collision sound, followed by a growl of surprise from the fox.
"How did you…?" Kurama says, not even finishing his sentence.
Curious, Oshio opens his eyes, and sees his father, Sasuke Uchiha, standing in the way and calmly blocking Kurama's claw with his sword. Izuna, before closing his eyes, catches a glimpse of his father, back from the dead. He falls back, fainting, but lands on the lap of Inoue, who catches him and gently lies him down. Sasuke looks aside to see his second son go to sleep, and then down at his first born who looks back, lifeless.
"How convenient." Oshio mocks his own self.
Kurama, still pushing his claw against Sasuke's blade, calms down and retreats his hand when he sees Sakura intervene.
"Sasuke!" Sakura exclaims, coming to her husband's side. "What took you so long?"
"Sakura?" Sasuke asks. "Why are you here? Where's Sarada?"
"What? Well, she's at the academy. Where else could she be?"
"How can this be? How did you survive?" Oshio interrupts his parents' reunion, too confused to let these questions pass.
Sasuke doesn't answer, and instead decides to show. He turns his head toward the army of Hikari, and simply raises his hand.
Gakido – Kyuin
By copying what he saw Momoshiki and Tokubei Otsutsuki do, he specifically vacuums and steals all the chakra of only the ninjas of Kakumei, leaving them all to faint and fall down, defeated in just a second. The Konoha-nins see their opponents hit the ground all together, and look around confusingly. Sasuke then stares at Oshio and gives a little explanation to complete this demonstration.
"Imagine the same as this, but to absorb the chakra of nature." he says. "Absorb just enough of it, not a single ounce too much, to reach an equilibrium between Yin, Yang and nature within yourself."
"This is how you become a sage." Oshio remarks.
"Exactly. All thanks to my left eye." Sasuke adds. "With this, I upgraded my vision and managed to see through the illusion in which I had been trapped."
Oshio nods, as to show he appreciates the lesson.
"It took you a while." he comments again. "Why are you saving me now? Have you forgotten that I'm the one who gave you away to them?"
"I was once in the exact same posture as you now." the Uchiha father replies. "Back to the ground, defeated. But I was spared. I was given a second chance."
"Oh, I'm sure even you didn't commit half of what I did to this world…"
"Nothing that time can't heal." Sasuke argues. "Some things may never be forgiven, but as long as you can make up for it, it will become nothing more than the past."
"Giving me hope is pointless." Oshio still refuses to change his mind. "Momoshiki will take over my body anyway, and repeat everything."
"I know. And I won't let him do so." Sasuke says. "As long as I live, Momoshiki will stay dead. I promise."
Sakura arrives next to Sasuke, and lets her head fall on his shoulder. Oshio takes a good look at his mother, since it's the first time he sees her from this close. He then takes a moment to appreciate the picture before him, and shamefully lets a tear flow.
"Mom… Dad… It feels like I've been waiting for this my whole life." he tells them.
Sakura gets on her knees next to him and offers her hand to help him up.
"You just called me Mom…" she says. "It feels… kind of reassuring."
"What will happen to me?" he asks.
"Some people will want you imprisoned." she answers, still holding her hand out. "A lot will want you dead. But Naruto will make sure you get a chance to expiate your crimes."
Oshio, lacking any answer, and somehow deeply appeased by the presence and caring voice of his mother, just takes her hand and lets his head fall on her shoulder. She holds him close against herself, while Sasuke looks at them, glad that his son didn't forget his words. Unlike most people in the Shinobi Union, he doesn't care about the victims of Oshio's crimes.

A few minutes earlier, in the void of space, still in the solar system but much closer to the Sun, there is a muscular woman in a black bodysuit with white ornaments, large white boots with black and golden bands at the top going up to her thighs, and a large white cape-like sleeveless mantle. On her forehead is a black diamond shaped seal mark. She stands still above the planet Mercury and activates her Byakugan.
Behind her arrives a tall thin man with a wide elegant hair mane covering his whole back and an eyebrow-like devil horn. He doesn't say anything and just waits for her to speak.
"They are here." she says. "Both have offered their body to a divine tree."
"So it's two Juubi." the man replies, watching down at the world with a pair of red eyes with white pupils. "I think I can see them from here. I've never seen two at the same place."
"Because they'd usually merge into one." the woman replies as the seal on her head opens and extends on her whole body.
"Well this was, I mean will be, a great spectacle, Shiva." the man says about a scene that will only happen in a few minutes.
The woman, Shiva Otsutsuki, lets herself fall down to the planet and firmly clenches her fist.
Saruta Hiko
Mercury is visibly pulled out of orbit and closer to her, leading her to reach the surface at tremendous speed, where she delivers a single punch, a few centimeters away from the ground. The repulsion her fist throws the whole planet away, pushing it far away from her in just a few seconds.
Behind her, her colleague joins her again as they see the little planet falling into the sun and being completely destroyed by the star's extreme heat and radiation.
"Yeah… Killing these creatures is troublesome." the man says. "I guess destroying the world is easier. But I doubt that Yamitsuki-sama would endorse this."
"You and I both know that your master won't care about this anyway." Shiva replies. "This planet was nothing but a big rock. No atmosphere, no life." she adds before suddenly getting an odd feeling.
She turns around and looks in the direction of Earth with a quite flattered face.
"It seems like a fragment of my power was just summoned somewhere…" she says. "It must have been the little slug's doing…"
"On Earth you mean?" the man says. "You also left evangelical signs there, like Jashin did?"
"Not at all, Kojin. I simply taught someone over there centuries ago." Shiva explains. "Anyway, our job here is done. If we keep going at this rhythm, we may be done 30 years early."
Chimatakami
A black space rift appears next to them and a 3-eyed child steps out of it.
"You guys lost the game." he says with a mocking voice.
"What do you mean, Utashiki?" Shiva asks the kid.
"Well, you thought that you'd get rid of the Juubi duo by destroying the world, but in just the time it took for it to reach the star's photosphere, Isshiki had already completely destroyed both creatures."
"Hm, pointless show off. Typical of Isshiki." Shiva says, just a bit annoyed by this behavior. "Tell him to join Tahoka and Jashin. We, the Tenshin, are still not done with our missions."
