Su Chengyu hadn't expected that the full force shot he fired from the God-Destroying Bow would fail to kill Cao Taiming. Even so, Cao was now injured and losing blood rapidly, with his combat ability at least 70% reduced.
However, even a Cao Taiming that was left with only 30% of his fighting power was too much for Su Chengyu to handle in his current state.
Clutching his wound, Cao Taiming, covered in dirt and grime, staggered towards Su Chengyu.
"Come on! Shoot me again if you can!"
Cao Taiming saw the color drain from Su Chengyu's face and knew that Chengyu's mana was completely depleted, making it impossible for him to shoot another arrow.
"You have a real knack for survival!"
Clamping his acupuncture point to staunch the blood flow, Cao Taiming gloated, "I almost got killed by you, brat. Thankfully, I was wearing a gold-threaded soft armor. Though it's not a magic artifact, it absorbed some of the damage."
