Chereads / Dropped IIIII / Chapter 3 - 3. Stupid Fool

Chapter 3 - 3. Stupid Fool

I just stared at Chan with a blank expression as he swung his sword skillfully, showing off his cool moves.

I'm not like him, I can't use Qi. Besides using Qi is not allowed in the knights training ground so he wouldn't use it either.

Chan finished his routine and spread his legs, looking at me and raising his sword to his eye level.

"Hah!"

Chan lept in the air towards me as he thrusted his sword. I simply used my sword to deflect his, pushing it to the side.

I put my leg up as he passed me, tripping Chan and he fell face flat on the ground.

He sprung up back as he looked at me angrily.

"HAAAH!"

I chuckled inwardly I just stood there, deflecting his attacks one by one as they came.

Chan is just swinging his sword randomly, seems like his emotions have gotten the better of him.

...

The students around were all whispering to each other as they watched the fight.

"Is it just me or is Chan losing this fight?"

"That's not true. Chan has Quan right where he wants him."

"How do you mean?"

"Can't you see that Quan has been on the defensive since the beginning of this fight."

The other students processed what they heard and indeed, Quan hasn't attacked since the beginning of this fight.

"Or maybe Quan is the one playing with Chan!" Another boy mumbled as they watched the fight.

...

Chan was already sweating as he panted heavily. If he was allowed to use Qi here then he would have more energy but no.

He looked at his opponent who just stood there with a sword in his hand, looking at him with a smile.

And that was me. I will use this opportunity to embarrass this prideful boy.

Chan jumped up again, running towards me.

He slashed his sword horizontally.

I didn't block this time, I bent backwards and dodged the sword, raising one of my legs up, kicking Chan in his jaw as I did a back flip.

Chan held his jaw as blood dripped from his lips. He looked at me with anger and hatred in his eyes as he thrusted the sword at me.

'Sigh... This boy never learns.'

I spun, avoiding the sword and got closer to Chan, very close.

I thought it's time to end his punishment.

I punched him on his stomach as I hit the hand he used to hold the sword.

"Ahh!"

He shouted as his sword flew from his hand and he held the hand in pain.

I didn't even give him breathing space as I stiked the side of his neck with force this time.

*Ka*

Chan fell to the floor unconscious.

Everywhere went quiet.

All the students just stared at Chan who was on the floor unmoving.

His boys walked passed the crowd of people and picked him up, but not before flashing me an angry look.

I knew my days of peace were over after this, but it was worth it. Beating this stupid fool was very satisfying.

...

"Whoah! Quan really beat Chan?"

"Yep. And it look like Quan was toying with Chan all along."

"Damn. I hope he knows what he is in for now."

"What do you mean?"

"Chan's family is one of the biggest families in this world, with millions of mages at their disposal."

"Millions! Were just knights. And a single mage is worth twenty knights."

The students were happy that Quan taught Chan his lesson but they also hoped that he knew what he has just stepped into as he has just made the Xian family his enemies.

...

"As expected of the best knight in Keyi academy!"

"Huh!"

I turned around to see a man with long jet black hair tied in a ponytail coming towards me.

This man's level of handsomeness was... Extraordinary.

His face was refined and structured with a straight jawline. His eyes were golden yellow in colour which isn't ordinary either. He had a straight, pointed nose that added to his beauty and the most glaring feature about him was the aura he exuded.

"Master Han!"

Master Han Mo Luo was one of the teachers in charge of the knights section in Keyi academy.

Unlike all of the students here, he focuses on both magic and swordsmanship.

Although I'm curious as to why he didn't join the mages in the other section, but that is a story for another time.

"I see you have improved a lot. From my observation, you have mastered primary sword play." He said as he put his hand on my shoulder.

I didn't say anything about his observation and just smiled at him.

"Class is dismissed! All of you can go home now!" Master Han said.

'Finally, class is over' I thought as I turned to leave the place.

"Except for you... Quan!"

I turned around to see the man looking at me with a stern gaze.

'What could I have done this time'
