Ch-12 Mind-blowing

I was imagining some possible scenarios that will happen if these signs are going to activate. In no time, all the signs of seven ships and sect identification started to shine brightly.

Wait, wait, wait, wait. I don't want to be...

My worry was unnecessary. Neither of us transforms, gets shining censored, or becomes butt naked.

The seven rays that shoot out from the ship's signs connect and join together at a certain point, forming a multicolor light. That ethereal rays of light hit an invisible wall in the air. Leaving a golden array hovering in the air. Then at the Crest of the waterfall, the water surged up together with seven lifelike sculptures of respective creatures.

When we were looking at those sculptures in amazement, these sculptures started to light up. Embodying their respective color, the phantom of seven creatures emerged from their statues. After getting out of their statues, these mighty phantoms line up in front of our ship. At the same time, the golden array becomes a golden seal at a towering red gate.

Although I said it was a red gate, it was more like a shrine gate. It only had two red pillars with a bow shape beam on top. There is only a golden seal array in the middle but there are no door leaves. Hazy mist and clouds were encircling the top of the gate. Making it more both mysterious and majestic.

When the golden seal disappeared from the Red gate, a giant flood flow out toward our seven ships. The water level surged and enveloped ship's hulls. Then, the water current pulled our ships and carried us toward the opening of the red gate.

This Oceanic Sect location is quite unique. I thought the water curtain is just a deterrence structure like the great wall of China. However, it wasn't. A portion of the ocean is raised numerous kilometers above sea level like a cake. Because of the high altitude, I could see a cluster of clouds forming and just barely drifting above the water's surface.

If there is a sea in heaven this might be it. The blue dragon phantom was flying in front of our ship. Leading our ship toward a tiny dot. It was an amazing sight to see these behemoths guiding seven ships. While we were cruising through the white cloud and reflective surface of the blue sea.

I looked around and scanned my surrounding. Many of the recruits couldn't register the immensity of their identities or positions. They were excitedly looking at this amazing dream-like scenery and occasionally checking out other ships.

There are also a few people who couldn't accept what just happened and started to break down. They are now stuck between a rock and a hard place. If they die, it is all over. No reincarnation and absolute death.

Even if they are alive, no one will remember their existence. Well except for oceanic sect members and us. But that is none of my business.

I'm afraid of death too. Humans are mortal. They only have a limited time to live from the start. I already died once in a life where I didn't expect there will be reincarnation, heaven or hell exist.

Our fate was already in their hand. It is what it is. No matter what, I will live to the fullest of my life with little regret.

What can you do when you are so weak? Just suck it up. If you are weak there will be no fairness or righteousness. What powerless mobs can do is mourn for their unfair fate. Or live in powerful people's mercy.

I looked at the oceanic sect cultivators. So these cultivators have that much power and ability. They could even change what will happen after my death as they desired.

So why didn't I aspire to become like them? If there is a way to become like them why should I hesitate?

Now I already saw their power and what they can do. I will learn their way and become powerful. No, I'm going to be one. There is no point in morn what already happened.

Their memories will be always here. I placed my hand on my heart. I closed my eyes and recall my life. Many people's faces and events flashback in my mind. Some are joyous, some sad, and some nostalgic. Then I slowly opened my eyes again.

It is time to look at a different viewpoint and see what I've gained. With this change in mentality, I walked together with my companions toward the ship's bow. I even felt my tattered body become lighter under each step.

Many recruits were looking at other ships moving next to us. Maybe the recruits from other ships were looking at us too. With a distance between our ships, we couldn't see what others look like.

A few moments later…

"Look over there." Someone shouted.

It says that there are three main basic primary colors humans can see. Red, yellow, and blue. All other colors are diverse from the merging of these three colors in different ratios and intensities.

Yet, the scenery I was currently seeing was too much breathtakingly amazing that even worlds couldn't describe its beauty. Anyway, I'm going to downgrade enough to describe it in my words.

There is a big island on the distant horizon. Orange sunlight was spiraling toward the island giving a nice glow to the scenery.

The more we are closer to the land, the grander island is revealing itself to our sight.

From this far, I could see a mountain similar to Mt.Fuji in my previous world standing proudly in the middle of this island.

However, an extra transparent blue giant water droplet was hovering above its top. When I gaze at its reflection, I felt like my soul was sucked into that giant droplet.

Then I saw a lavender rose aurora with white edges spread out through the evening sky.

When we come closer, the first thing I could see were massive pavilions, towering buildings, and mega structures (bridges and platforms). These are constructed in both ancient and ingenious designs.

Slowly our eyes sight were filled with vibrant red, yellow, green, blue, marble, and charcoal from different structures, sandy beaches, trees, waterways, and roads.

The strange thing was when we got closer we saw many structures but the giant mountain become invisible.

After we reached a certain distance from ashore, we come close to a nice clean shipyard. We left the castle deck and line up in our usual position beside the mast.

This changed my view of the world of cultivators. I thought that cultivators are flying hermits who live in caves and secluded mountains. They will only build caves and necessary buildings on high ground.

Honestly speaking, I wouldn't be surprised if they drop us on an island where crabs were dancing weirdly to music. Then plunge us into a battle royal for screening. After that, put our sorry asses in some shitty slum.

They will make laborers cut down trees, farm, mine, and sweep the whole mountain. Maybe they will use us as targets for practicing.

However, seeing is believing. Latter aside, everything I saw was nice and tidy. Even the sandy beach is clean and well-maintained. Every corner was spotless.

These amazing vibrant buildings, pavilions, platforms, and mega structures were proof that these cultivators were quite civilized and modern.

I do feel like 'I arrive in a different world where everything was polished'.

Back in the county, we are a bunch of dusty and dirty boys. Now everyone was thoroughly washed inside the tornado.

Although we were standing in the usual position, my eyes never stopped wandering around the super shipyard curiously.

There is a lookout tower directing and controlling each ship to reach its respective hanger. Each ship has its own destined hanging area. A place to unload cargo, a wide plaza for assembly, and clean drainage and water outlets.

Our ship docks in an area with a dragon statue. Then the hanger and pipeline extended from the pier. Fixing our ship hanging at its place. Some cultivators are standing at the pier. I assume that they are maintenance or logistic personnel for the ship. They might be waiting to do their jobs.

By the signal of Grey scarf senior, we disembarked from the ship.

While we were disembarking, I saw logistic personnel offload the strange animals and cargo inside the ship. They are using the pipe connected to the hulls.

'Sayonara, my luggage, and my belongings.' I wiped my imaginary tears.

There were a little more than 400 of us so we are divided into 50 men groups led by one blue robe. The first group disembarked and stand at the plaza for a brief period. Then joined with groups from the other ships to another assembly area in front of a giant hall.

I was in the third group together with recruits from the same cabin. We followed the sadistic lad, the same person who distribute the pill. The sense of wood and fresh green air make me feel ecstatic.

We have been traveling through the ocean for a long time so the feeling of standing back on the flat soil is a happy occasion.

We stood at the plaza with neatly laid marble color ties. The sadistic lad faced back toward our direction and said

"Okay, it's time to give merit points."

"The point will depend on your evaluation result. There is an elite disciple in each cabin so whoever the person comes out to report."

Many of us looked at each other with confused looks.

'An evaluator so they placed an imposter among us?'

'I haven't seen a suspicious person inside our cabin. Is he bluffing? No, he has no reason. Who might that be?' I pondered inside my brain.

"Evaluation reporting" a person comes out with a token. This was the same token as those of the cultivator. A dragon shape was cast on one side of the token.

However, no one would expect the evaluator's identity. I got quite shocked after knowing who the evaluator was. He stood in front of us and smiled at me.
