Luka watched the human girl storm out of the room, bitter tears dripping down her face as she slammed the front door shut. She had left him alone with these assholes, and the pureblood wasn't quite sure of his next course of action.
His mind had gone blank, beclouded by an all-encompassing fury that made it impossible to think straight.
How dare they hurt her in his presence? How dare they make her waste her precious tears on scoundrels like them?
It drove him mad that they dared to touch her – his human – in front of him.
Nobody had a right to her, not even the gods. She belonged to him, and so did everything of hers – her joy, her pain, her laughter, her tears, her body and even her very soul.
