Flashback:
A few seconds after picking it up, the blade goes from white to purple and then to black, with white stars dotted over the blade. It was breathtaking, and it seems that I wasn't the only one who thought so.
Everyone gathered around the table, including Kichiro, all were shocked as their jaws dropped. Shinobu, however, had a hint of recognition in her purple orbs, one that she then tried to conceal as she knew I had seen it.
What is it that Shinobu knows?

Y/N POV (Age 14):
I spared Shinobu a suspicious glance while everyone was distracted by the commotion, while mentally preparing myself for receiving my uniform and my crow.
The uniform was just like Mitsuri's but with half as much cleavage visible, a haori that looked like the Galaxy, and a moon-shaped earring on one ear, while a star earring hung opposite to it. Sitting down on the tatami mat, I had to make sure I was patient while waiting for my crow so that I could begin my journey together with Asaki - the name of my new crow.
As Asaki came in through the window, I got my first look at her. She wasn't a crow, she was a hawk; a black hawk with sharp yellow eyes dotted with brown flecks. I gave her a ribbon I had saved for the occasion, a black and purple one, and tied it around her foot. Around her neck, I tied a satchel for carrying any items and I gave her a hairpin (or feather pin) to match my earrings.
"You must head on a mission with Hashira Rengoku Kyojuro, Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashibira. You'll be accompanied by Tanjiro's demon sister, Nezuko Kamado. While on this mission, you will be investigating people going missing on a train while trying your best not to fall into the trap that we believe has been set by a demon, possibly one of the Twelve Kizuki." Asaki spoke calmly throughout her relay of orders, giving me information on the mission as well as who I would be accompanying.
Although I wanted to stay behind and investigate Shinobu further, I knew it was time to leave and question her another time. It was time for me to take on my first official mission as a Demon Slayer, and put an end to the tyranny of the demon on the train; one that I would find out was called Enmu and was Lowermoon 1. I'd find out that this mission would be far more dangerous than expected and be lured into a false sense of security by those around me; especially the likes of someone soon to be killed. It would be a tragic scene, witnessing the death of someone that I know well.
Before stepping foot out of the house and on my way to my mission, I made sure to check all of my supplies and ensure that I'd be ready for any challenges I might face. Asaki perched on my shoulder as I fed her some food before she took off and led the way towards the meeting point.
