When the next morning arrived, I laughed secretly at the way Tory limped and groaned at the soreness when she walked around the apartment.
Last night had been fun and also developed a deeper intimacy between us, but that didn't mean the world had changed over night, or that all our problems were solved.
It was still the same shitty Tuesday and a school day, except Tory had decided to take the day off since there was no way possible she was going out in public with that limp.
"Did you hear about the new Sensei at Cobra Kai?" Tory asked as I served us the breakfast and joined her on the table.
"A new Sensei?" I asked curiously.
"Yeah, it's only been a couple of days, so I don't know much about him." Tory answered by taking a bite out of the delicious sandwich, "He introduced himself as Kreese's old friend, so I think they've known each other for a while."
'There are only a few people who have been affiliated to Cobra Kai for that long.' I thought with a scowl.
"Did you at least get his name?" I asked.
"Silver something." Tory shrugged as she devoured the whole meal, "God, I missed your cooking so much."
"All you had to do was come back to my place, but you're too stubborn for that, aren't you?" I looked at her with a fond smile.
"Not anymore." Tory matched my smile and grabbed my hand over the table.
I felt a bit awkward at the sudden change in her attitude, but I guess that was inevitable after what happened between us last night.
Tory had changed for the better, and I can tell that she was trying to understand me and express her feelings more openly towards me.
And to be honest, this scared me a little. I had never been in a serious relationship in any of my life, because I could never bring myself to trust someone to that level of intimacy.
"There's no need to tell anyone about us if you don't want to." Tory stated and grabbed my attention, "I can understand how you're feeling right now, and honestly, I'm also a little scared."
"Knowing my own temperament and past records, I'm worried that I might fuck this up to." She pursed her lips into a smile, "I just don't want to lose you, Alex."
"You won't." I assured her with a calming smile, "I can always Slap you if you do something stupid again."
Tory groaned at the reminder of the night at Larusso's house.
"So, are you gonna join Miyagi-Do now since you've decided to leave Cobra Kai?" I questioned curiously while poking my omelette with a fork.
"No way in hell!" Tory retorted instantly with a disgusted look, "As if I'm gonna be a part of the same Dojo as that Bitch!"
"I still don't know what's your problem with Sam." I sighed in response, "Should I call her over to make things straight?"
"Wait, she knows your address?" Tory asked in disbelief, "How many times has she been at your apartment? Were you guys alone?"
"Yes, and Yes." I answered truthfully and shrugged, "She's been here about the same time as you."
"How.. How!" Tory got up and paced around with a stupefied expression, "Isn't she supposed to be hooking up with Miguel? Why would she be with you in the first place?!"
"Well, they're not actually hooking up since Miguel called her a Slut to her face." I replied sheepishly, "And we just hanged out a couple of times and played games on my PlayStation."
"And how many times did you take her to your bedroom?" Tory glared at me by clenching her fists.
"You're getting in your head, Tory." I sighed in exhaustion, "You're the only girl whose had the privilege of being on my bed, feel honoured." I said the last part with an arrogant smirk.
"Honoured my ass-"
"Actually-" I interrupted with a mischievous grin, but immediately stopped laughing when I saw her grab a fork.
Thankfully, she used the fork to eat her Omelette once she had made her point.
"So.." I continued as she sat down, "How about joining your Old Sensei's new Dojo, the Eagle Fang?"
"Yeah, I did hear that the two of them are sharing the same space for their Dojos." Tory gave it a thought, probably because her old Cobra Kai gang had moved to this Dojo.
'And once she leaves, Robby would be the only decent fighter remaining at Cobra Kai.' I thought with a vicious grin, since ending Cobra Kai was one of my Quests.
"I can consider joining this Eagle Fang, but with Miyagi-Do in the mix." Tory hesitated to make a choice.
"You won't have to worry about them." I said in assurance, "Give it a thought for a day or two before making decision."
"I'll have to go back home." Tory stated suddenly when she heard a text on her phone, "Ethan's heading to school and my mom is alone, can you drop me off?"
"You only need to ask." I smiled in response, "By the way, when can I meet your mom? I've met Ethan already and he's a good kid."
"My mom.. She's a bit paranoid when it comes to men, especially when I'm dating one." Tory sadly pursed her lips, "She's had to suffer a lot when I was a kid as I had an abusive father."
"Is he still alive?" I asked curiously with a murderous gleem in my eyes.
"He's not." Tory giggled at my intense reaction, "Would you actually kill someone for me?"
"I don't know." I answered slowly and looked down at my own hands, 'I have killed before, but have I ever killed with the purpose to protect someone I care about?'
To be honest, I didn't want to find out.
After we were done finishing our breakfast, I packed some food for Tory's mother before we left my apartment and I drove her back to her place.
"See you later." Tory stated as she got off the bike.
"Yeah, see you later." I smiled and felt a bit surprised when Tory got closer to me.
It was after a second I realised that she wanted to kiss me, so I awkwardly took off my helmet and reciprocated her feelings by connecting our lips for a short moment.
I could see that even Tory felt a bit shy, since this wasn't something we were used to, especially after how many times I had dropped her home on my bike.
'That didn't feel right.' I thought when we parted our lips.
So to make things feel right, I got off the bike and surprised her when I decided to follow her back to her door, something I had never done before.
"Someone's getting a bit romantic~" Tory muttered with a delighted smile, "I don't hate it."
I casually spanked her ass in response, and smiled when she looked back at me with an adorable scowl.
"This is me." Tory said as she stopped before her apartment's door, "Wanna come in?"
"Tory, dear, is that you?" We heard a woman's voice from behind the door, before it was opened the next second.
"Tory." The woman smiled at her daughter, but frowned when she noticed that she had a company.
Black leather jacket, expensive shoes, and stylish clothes, I understood that I didn't exactly land the best first impression with Tory's mother.
"Mom, this is my boyfriend, Alex." Tory introduced me right away to not cause any further confusion.
'Wait, are we in a relationship already?' I was startled by the revelation.
"Hello, I'm Alexander Wick, you can me Alex." I introduced myself with a polite smile, "You must be Tory's mom, nice to meet you."
Tory's mom eyed me for a few seconds before turning around, "Let's talk inside, take off your shoes." She stated in a stern tone.
Tory shrugged at me before we followed her mom inside the apartment, which was about the same size as my own.
"Mom, you're supposed to be resting." Tory stated as she grabbed her medications from a drawer, "Have your breakfast before taking these medicines, I've brought some food."
"How long have you been seeing this young man?" Her mother grabbed a seat on her chair before looking at me, "He isn't forcing you to do things for him, is he?"
"No, mom! He's nothing like that." Tory whined and looked a bit embarrassed, "Don't mind her, Alex." She glanced at me with a nervous smile.
"What's your name, ma'am?" I decided to confront the woman by pulling a chair beside her, "By the way, I know your daughter for about a year now, but it's only recently that we got in a relationship."
"You can call me Grace." Tory's mom replied as she eyed me, "And why haven't I heard about you if you've known my daughter for so long?"
"Well, she has a habit of getting into trouble if that's what you're asking." I answered cheekily and glanced at Tory, who was serving the food on a plate.
"You don't dare badmouth my daughter, she does everything she can to provide for us." Grace quickly came to Tory's defense and glared at me, "Men like you would never understand our problems."
"Yeah, you're right." I chuckled in response without taking any offense, "I'm only hanging out with your daughter since she's a good fuck."
"Alex!" Tory whined when she heard me.
"Why do you think she wasn't home last night?" I instigated her further with a cocky smirk, "Maybe I'll keep her with me for a few more days next-"
I was interrupted by a tight slap across my face, which I didn't bother dodging since it lacked the power to harm me.
Tory was too stunned to say anything about what her mom had done, though she also knew I deserved it for pushing her so far.
"Feeling better now?" I raised an eyebrow as I looked at Grace with a smile, "I know you wanted to slap me the moment you saw me, so, am I good enough for your daughter?"
"Are you the one who cooks us these meals from time to time." Grace asked first as she received the plate from her daughter, "My boy Ethan loves them, but we haven't been getting them for the past month."
"I entirely blame that on your daughter." I answered and grinned at her, "And yes, I'm the Master Chef who cooks these meals."
"I never told you they were good." Grace snorted in response, though she still ate the food and hummed in satisfaction.
"Is she senile?" I looked at Tory with my doubt.
"Alex." Tory reprimanded me with a soft glare.
"I'm not senile, you asshole. I have blood cancer." Grace answered for herself by pointing her fork at me, "And you're not good enough for my daughter, leave."
"Guess I'll have to settle with Sam for now." I sighed in disappointment and got up from my chair, "It's over for us, Tory. Your mom doesn't approve of us."
The intensity of Tory's glare increased when she squinted her eyes at me, since she knew I was purposely doing it to annoy her.
Though, my real target was someone else.
"Oh, what am I gonna do without the approval of Tory's mom." I sighed depressingly while pretending to leave, "I guess it's all over for me now. Sam, where are you? Sam? Even Moon would do at this at point."
"Get your ass over here." Grace called back and grumbled in annoyance.
Where else, Tory clicked her tongue in exasperation at the mention of the other girls I could date.
"Oh, I hear a ghost calling for me." I pretended to hear something in the air.
"I'll actually stab you." Grace glared at me while holding her fork, "And then we'll see who becomes a Ghost first."
"Scary." I taunted cheekily as I grabbed my previous seat next to her.
"What did you even see in him beyond his looks?" Grace stared at me for a moment before glancing back at her daughter with the question.
"His money?" Tory answered easily.
"Makes sense." Grace nodded in understanding.
"Hey, where's the P for Personality?" I called out in disbelief, "And you'll call me a sexist if I told you that I like Tory just because she's hot."
"No, I'd call you blind if you didn't." Grace retorted with a straight face.
"And 'Like' did you just say, not love?" Grace pointed out with a victorious grin.
"Hm.. Yeah." I nodded in confirmation, "I like your daughter for now, otherwise I would've married her already if it was love."
"Marry, love?" Tory gasped with a stunned expression, her cheeks flushing brightly in excitement.
"Hm." Grace nodded in understanding and ate her breakfast, "Tory might've not told me about you, but I've heard about you from my son. He idolises you, so I wanted to see what kind of a person you are."
"Are you going to harm my daughter in future?" Grace questioned seriously.
"Well, I've already slapped her a few times, so I'm not sure." I answered honestly with a sheepish smirk.
"Huh, no wonder she's not been in any trouble recently." Grace stated in surprise, "I guess you can control my daughter's short fuse then, you're alright."
"I'd take that as a compliment." I chuckled in response.
"Will you guys stop talking as if I'm not present in the room?" Tory whined and glared at us, before approaching us and daringly sitting on my lap.
"See how obedient she is?" I teased her action by turning it against her and gently caressed her thighs, "And I stand corrected, by the way. Your mom is actually hot enough for me."
"I hate both of you." Tory grumbled for a moment, but then she couldn't help but smile brightly and hug me, and then her mother.
However, I ended up staying longer than I expected when Grace pulled out an old album containing Tory's childhood pictures.
And watching my 'girlfriend' blush in embarrassment while I laughed at her silly childhood stories with her mother, was a good way to tease her.

AN: Get me into top 100 this week and I'll continue writing the Fic, despite the number of people reading this story.
Post An: Also, I've done something horrible in the chapters I have been writing recently, which is about 12 chapters ahead of this one.
