My Stat gain had improved exponentially since the day I had joined Cobra Kai. Their rough training routine and physical exercises were showing results, just after a week of spending time with them.
Sure, the Cobra Kai had an aggressive mentality, but their methods worked.
'Status.' I muttered under my breath while sitting in a cafe by myself and browsing through my Laptop.

I had not leveled up yet, but I had acquired a new branch of skill by putting efforts into my work.
[Martial Arts Level 12
Type: Passive
A growth type skills that improves your efficiency in combat and provides you knowledge of your opponent's moves.]
I wasn't the most skilled fighter yet, but I could certainly say that I was the strongest in terms of power and intelligence. Not to mention, Cobra Kai was never about Skills, but more about confidence and making the first move.
I groaned under my breath as I saw a few familiar faces enter the cafe. It were Miguel, Aisha, Tory and some of their friends.
'Did they have to be here of all places?' I was in a fucking mall, they could've gone to someplace else.
The reason I did not like their presence was because they were the ones being a pain in the ass for me, even more than Hawks, who had learnt his lesson right on the first day. They would never actually confront me face to face, but would always find ways to oppose me one way or another.
For example, few days ago when Lawrence put me into a three way fight with Tory and Miguel, but they teamed up just to defeat me. Unfortunately, for them, I did not back down from the fight until I gave Miguel a black eye and twisted Tory's leg.
I heard the rumours from the other students that Miguel had broken up with his girlfriend recently, but after seeing them, I could tell that Tory and him were soon going to be in a relationship.
A relationship I know wouldn't last long, because of the contrast of their personalities and mental strength.
I closed my laptop and placed it in my bag before I got up from my seat. I could explore the whole Mall than just sitting in a cheap Cafe.
"Oh, you're leaving already?" Tory said with a mocking smile as she stood in front of me and blocked my path, "I thought you could join us and have some fun, right Miguel?"
"How's your leg, Tory?" I smiled at her, "I noticed a limp in your walk earlier." I leaned closer to whisper into her ears, "Is it because of spending too much time alone with Miguel, or is it me?"
Tory frowned at me with disgusted look, "Leave." she said only one word.
"Then do excuse me." I said with a small smile, but she was still blocking my way.
"Tory, let him go." Miguel said with a concerned look, when he saw Tory clenching her palms into a fist.
"Tch." Tory clicked her tongue and walked away to an empty table in the cafe.
"Hmph." I snorted in arrogance and left the cafe.
While circling around the mall, I reached the food court and found an interesting situation unfolding before me.
"Hey." I went behind the boy that Hawks and his friends were picking on and placed my hand around his shoulders, "Look what I found?"
"What?" The boy got startled and asked me with a confused look.
"A bunch of assholes." I grinned in response and locked my eyes on the Hawk.
"Wick." Hawks growled in rage, "This has nothing do with you."
"Oh, really?" I raised an eyebrow at him with a mocking smile, "It just so happens that I am friends with this guy here."
"Really?" The unknown boy was even more confused.
"Are bullying my friend, Hawks?" I questioned with a challenging smile, "Five against one. Is that what Cobra Kai taught you, loser?"
Hawks stepped ahead with an pissed off look, "You'll regret that now, Wick." He chuckled, "Come on, boys! Let's kick his ass!"
Hawks jumped straight at me and I immediately reacted by pushing the unknown boy out of the way, and dodged the High kick. Hawks friends surrounded me, so to not cause any financial suicide, I handed my bag with the laptop to the unknown boy.
"Stay out of this." I told him and patted him to take a safe distance.
As I talked with the boy, Hawks and the others thought of it as me distracted and jumped at me. I was astounded by how foolish they were, to even think I'll have my eyes off my enemies.
The guys who attacked me first paid by getting their arms twisted around in a tight grip, that had stretched the skin on their arms. The others attacked me to save thier friends, but I released the arms and caught thier faces, before slamming them on the food court tables.
The fight was on and they were coming at me all at once, but I was not the one to back down from a good fight, no matter what the odds. I fought them, even got hurt a little, but I made sure they would realise by the end of this fight, that they were messing with the wrong guy.
Hawks pounced at me climbing on one of the tables, but the idiot was kicked on the face when I used my arms to turn around and create a swirling high kick.
That ended the fight and I looked at the assholes who were down on the floor. Surprisingly enough, there were people in the malls cheering for me and even I saw Miguel, Tory and thier friends watching us.
Though, they did not dare join the fight to stop me and stayed as spectators.
"I am astounded that no guard showed up after all this bullshit." I muttered to myself as I grabbed my bag from the unknown boy.
"Thank you for saving me." He said to me with a nervous smile.
"Now now, don't fall in love with me, okay?" I chuckled in sarcasm and walked away from the place, because I was worried that a guard might soon show up.
I did not wanted to get in trouble, especially after the digital camera I had stolen earlier from a electronics shop in the mall.

AN: The Protagonist is not a good guy, but he's also not someone like Yuuki in my first book. He has his own principles and pride, but his morals means nothing to him as long as it gets the job done.
-The Story closely follows the series of Cobra Kai, so many of you might not understand the scenes if you haven't watched it yet.
-The story was written years ago as an experiment and never posted. I'm doing it now, since I won't be updating the True Sekiryuutei for a while.
